When it comes to the shard of Jund, there are few things it enjoys more than tiny creatures to eat, a way to sacrifice those creatures, and other big beefy creatures (this includes dragons). Prossh, Skyraider of Kher is basically the entire package all in one. For a mere six mana, (the first time you cast him) you get 6 ground blockers, a sac outlet, and a large evasive dragon. If you're looking for a powerful general, this is where to start.
Background Info.
I first started magic when Dark Ascension had released, and my first deck was the red-greed intro pack centered around undying. I ended up completely ruining the deck like a true noob by cramming it with cards I thought were great but turned out to be terrible. I eventually turned the deck around and improved it, but it was never where I really wanted it to be. When I saw some of the more experienced players in my metagame playing Commander, I wanted to create a deck of my own. My first choice was Kresh, the Bloodbraided, and I enjoyed playing him for quite some time. However, I soon found out that Kresh wasn't the greatest. I would rarely cast him when playing. I always had better things to do. Sadly, I didn't really see a better option for my general, so I was stuck with him. Then Prossh was spoiled, and I was interested. At first, I was skeptical as to whether or not he was better, but soon realized that he was fantastic! I made the change as soon as possible and have never looked back.
Reasons to play Prossh
If tokens are worth about half a card, then Prossh on the first casting alone gives you four cards worth of value. This is seriously powerful, as edging out any amount of advantage is always needed. With so many Titans and Primordials running around, those little Kobolds can hold off an aggressor for several turns while you try to find an answer.
You will enjoy playing Prossh if:
-You like playing big creatures that dominate the game
-You love watching things explode
-You want to moderate what others are doing
-You enjoy having a toolbox of answers
-You love having an army of creatures willing to die for your master plans
You may not like Prossh if:
-You don't like shuffling
-You love instants and sorceries
-You hate Kobolds
The deck's main plan is to ramp your mana and cast large creatures fairly quickly while also trying to manage other people's boards. This mana can easily be created with Ranger's Path or Somberwald Sage, instantly jumping your mana from 3 or 4 to 6 or 7. Wood Elves and Sakura-Tribe Elder are also great early plays. Once you hit around 6 mana, you will be able to cast most of your fatties/answers with relative ease (plus your general). There are also several tutor spells to find exactly what you need, when you need it. If you need more cards, Skullclamp or Fecundity draws tons of cards in unison with the Kobold tokens made by Prossh. If other people are getting too far ahead in the game, Gravepact and Butcher of Malakir can be used with Prossh to act as an enormous, one sided field wipe. Sadistic Hypnotist can be absolutely gamebreaking if nobody has an answer to it, removing almost all of the cards from the hands of your opposition. There is also the infinite combo with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion, and the Food Chain combo to create infinite mana for casting creatures and infinite tokens. If you don't end up drawing any of this, you can always just cast fatties and swing. And to top it all off, the deck is sleeved in solid black dragon shield sleeves to give an ominous tone to all my cards. This deck still needs a touch of improvements, but works great!
Please comment and give me feedback on any other suggestions for the deck, or questions on how exactly the deck works. I'm kind of on a budget (can't really find cards more than $8 for the deck) so please consider that when posting.

To elvish sniper: I am instantly adding that to my needed cards list now. However, this card is somewhat out of my budget. If I can get one, it will instantly be added in over force of savagery. Thank you for the suggestion.
Stalking Vengeance fits the theme of the deck and could make a lot of damage.
I wouldn't play Dark Ritual. In EDH it just doesn't give you enough advantage.
You could paly Momentous Fall which can probably draw insane amounts of cards in this deck.
To Volango: I have skullclamp in my needed cards list, and currently have a fleshbag marauder on hand, but have not found room for it. Those elves will be noted as well. I can see stalking vengeance as an amazing addition, since it adds some extra damage from my sacrificing. Dark ritual is going to be removed for sol ring. As for momentous fall, if I could find room for it, it would be pretty nice. Also adding Attrition to my needed cards list. Thank you for the feedback.

To Allies w/ Benefits: I think skullclamp looks like an excellent way for me to easily draw cards whenever I birthing pod. Also, I can use it as backup. If they wanna kill my best creature, I'm getting some card draw out of it, and I often have troubles with refilling my hand. I've considered eternal witness and greater good, but I'm not as sure about soul's fire... it looks like a nice card when I have creatures, and a terrible card when I don't, but it sounds like something I should try if I can find a copy somewhere. Cards you certainly should consider that are just bonkers with kresh and for some reason I think everyone forgot about these is pestilence, and even more so is tainted aether the latter is brutal against so many decks! Hope that helps, also they are both very cheap cards

pestilence just doesn't look like it has a place in the deck, but I can see tainted aether being somewhat useful, except I'm the one playing many creatures, so tainted aether would make it difficult to build a field. I will consider it though. Thank you for the feed back.
A card that has proven awesome for my own Kresh deck: Lifeline. With sac outlets and/or ETB effects, you get serious mileage per card.
That seems like a pretty solid card, but the only thing I noticed is that there is an errata that changed it to any person, meaning this may not be the best deal... I fear that having it out and someone wiping my field completely could be disastrous! If I find one, its worth giving it a try, but I'm not so sure. Thank you for the feedback.

The problem I see with it, is that My black control by creature sacrifice theme won't work AT ALL when that hits the table. It is however very good with birthing pod, but I'm not very tempted to play large enchantments in my edh, since I might as well spend the mana on another fatty. I've also tried Death's Presence, but the problem with it is that I would rarely cast it, and when I did it just didn't do enough. I would rather have one of my fatties than have an enchantment that needs time to work. However, they work for you since you have lots of plays to go before you have the mana to cast the enchantment, at which time it works great. You're using a more sacrificed themed base, while I'm taking the battle cruiser style, sending big guys to stomp the board, so anything expensive needs to do something, and I almost always want to see a fatty over a large enchantment. Considering buying Lifeline, genesis wave, eternal witness and wood elves for my edh. Do you think these are worth adding, and if not, what should I buy instead?(keep in mind, I won't buy cards over $4 at my local card shop{on a budget})

The problem I see with it, is that My black control by creature sacrifice theme won't work AT ALL when that hits the table.
