The Purphoros, God of the Forge interaction is interesting. Since the token copies enter at the same time, they'll all enter as creatures and trigger each other if your devotion is high enough. If you win four flips, the original will trigger four times and each token will trigger three times, for example.
Flips won | Damage to all opponents
0 | 0
1 | 2
2 | 8
3 | 18
4 | 32
5 | 50
6 | 72
With Krark's Thumb, you've got about a 23.7% chance of lethal.
The idea of Mirror Match spawning more copies of Norin EVERY turn is simply hilarious. "You thought there were enough cowards in play? Hold my beer..." Too funny.
Electrodominance looks to be really, really good as a card. Being able to cast something at instant speed while killing a creature (most likely) is really awesome.
Electrodominance looks fantastic. It adds flash to virtually every card we have and that on its own is quite good. Being able to set up a turn with something like Moggcatcher or Krenko, Mob Boss is just great.
AS for Mirror March: my gut feeling is that 6 mana is too much. It's not a second Panharmonicon for me, since it won't double the triggers our Goblin Tokens and Myr tokens provide. Also: The copy of Norin is still legendary and will disappear as a state based action (not sure if that is the official ruling) as soon as it enters the battlefield. I'm not sure if any ETB triggers still apply for those copies.

A hobby is by defenition something you're not any good at - otherwise it'd have been your work. Magic is my biggest hobby so I mustn't be very good at it.
The copies of Legendaries are sacrificed but all their ETB and death triggers will still happen.
Which is still a good thing, given the particular synergies and overall strategy the deck has.
And the fact that all the Legendary tokens die only reinforces the idea that Norin is a total coward. He's so cowardly he can't even bear to see copies of himself!

Does anyone know what happened to Gaka?
It seems his last post on this thread ist from 2015 (on page 102).
Is the list on the OP still his latest version?

I'm not sure unfortunately but it looks like that is essentially his last post anywhere on MTGS. I'm not sure if retired from magic, has been too busy for it or just moved to another community besides MTGS. I just recently updated my list through Ravnica Allegiance if you want to take a look, it's here on tapped out.
I haven't really been playing much norin in the past two years or so since I used to play it so much before that. But I wanted to try it again so I gave it an update. Haven't gotten a chance to test the updates yet but I will soon.
Did anyone ever test Meteor Golem? Was thinking about it as a replacement for Duplicant, but I'm not sure where I weigh on the exile vs. flexibility argument just yet.

Duplicant seems way better because of the fact that you usually are using it to get out from under stupid stuff like Iona.
I searched this thread for Goblin Warrens and it has been mentioned twice but was never discussed.
Yes, it doesn't do anything on its own but I can see playing it in the mid to late game.
If we have an empty hand but at least two goblins on the battlefield we cann create more of them instead of doing nothing.
Especially under a lock like Grip of Chaos we cann still operate and/or trigger ETB effects.
Or maybe if we have problems with aggro decks: block with two goblins, sacrifice them before they die so that we have three instead of two blockers for the next turn.
Well Osie, after seeing your list and realizing I have most of these cards, I think I want to give this build a shot! I have to make some substitutions for the cards I don't own (IE Caged Sun for Gauntlet of Might) and cards I have in other decks, but I think taking a break from the mostly-Goblin route might give me a fresh take on how I want the deck to function.
I think there are better alternatives for Goblin Warrens apart from the simple fact, that I think the whole goblin theme isn't viable and doesn't belong in a Norin deck.
I've recently been thinking about more ways to generate card advantage and use overabundant amounts of mana: Experimental Frenzy: This card overperformed in Standard and actually seems pretty viable. Has anyone tested this yet? What are your results? Stolen Strategy: This card was lately mentioned by the Command Zone as an underrated card as well, which made me really consider this. It seems really interesting and potentially very strong. What do you think?
Goblin Warrens: It's not so much the goblins as it is the ETB effects it provides that I find interesting. However, chances are that I don't have the initial two goblins to sacrifice. I've seen it before, considered it, and don't think I like it enough to test it.
Experimental Frenzy: I've seen what this can do in draft and that's just plain amazing. I will test this once I get my hands on it for sure.
Stolen Strategy: Already added it to my list, replacing Mind's Eye. It fits the somewhat chaotic theme perfectly - but I haven't seen it hit the table yet, unfortunately.

i actually have meteor golem in all my non white/non green commanders. in norin specifically i have both this and duplicant. i would consider dropping duplicant only if i didn't have an imperial recruiter as the upside of being tutorable is what makes duplicant a great card in norin.

I don't think it can be said enough, Grinning Ignus + Mirror March is probably the best token generation in my deck. You can use the ability on every token generated to give you a crazy amount of mana and in turn bounce Ignus near infinite amount of times.
Electrodominance is a great consideration.
Not sure... its 6 mana and wont do much on its own...
Edit: Some math i stole from reddit:

I theorize that 6 mana means it requires testing.
I am interested in building Norin.
