I got a couple of games in today. The first time I was mana screwed which is very rare and my enchantments and artifacts were just viciously attacked so I couldn't get going.
The second game the deck worked flawlessly and I was one turned from using Phyrexian Altar and Vicious Shadows to finish whole table. However, the Sygg player comboed off with Mind Over Matter, although used Magosi incorrectly, which wasn't worked out until later. Somehow he convinced us it was infinite turn combo when it really isn't. I'm still angry over not thinking it over more, even with rings of Brighthearth it still isn't better, you gain two and lose two, not gain two and in succession, you have to gain one and lose next due to repeated ability, so net loss one. Regardless deck worked well, but I want to speed it up, so Llanowar Elves and maybe Fyndhorn will be going in.
I also play Weiss Schwarz, Chaos, Vanguard and Wixoss.

Technically, you skip one turn to put a counter on it and generate two turns with rings when you go to take it so its still profitable however there isnt a way to go infinite with it outside of having a way to have lands come in untapped and then a way to untap it yet on top of that... still thats a lot of work and mana to make Magosi make it.
I haven't seen much on your lists of late. I hope your marton still makes it out of the box now and then

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.

I was kinda jealous seeing your deck get the whole SCG treatment, but it does and encouraged me to work on a deck that doesn't have a massive proponent yet. So Ulasht is my attempt at breaking something and I still love Marton, every red token deck I have runs him and I've even convinced my local playgroup of how good he is. I need to streamline Marton I suppose, but he still has a good win rate.

I'm curious, would Death's Presence be useful as a way to fuel Ulasht as creatures leave the field? I figured it would be a useful source of counters for her and would lessen the impact of removal/sacrifice outlets.
Hm, it's a nice card and there are ways to make it work, but I don't see it as good value to exchange some creatures with counters on Ulasht. Or just put it this way: there are a lot of cards I would pick over Death's Presence. Let's look at some hypothetical situations:
You have a 6/6 Ulasht and six tokens, your tokens get killed and you make Ulasht 12/12. Invest 6 mana and get 6 tokens back. In this case, I'd rather have something like Ant Queen. It's different if you have Mana Echoes in play, but then again, it's likely you're winning anyway. And in that case, I'd rather have Cloudstone Curio because that has use outside of combo's.
You have a 6/6 Ulasht and Symbiotic Wurm. Your Wurm gets killed, so you get a 12/12 Ulasht and 6 insect tokens. This is an interesting situation if you have a sacrifice outlet, but still very situational. In this case I'd rather have Scythe of the Wretched or Nim Deathmantle.
You have a 6/6 Ulasht and one of your opponents wraths. You end up with nothing. Or worse: you have a 6/6 Ulasht, 100 tokens and one of your opponents wraths. You end up with nothing. Curio, Scythe or Deathmantle would help you recover.
So sure, it's a card with a nice effect and you can build combo's with it, but there are cheaper combo's with cards you are likely running to begin with. If you're looking for something to help you recover after a sweeper, look for Fecundity. For this amount of mana, I'd rather play Vicious Shadows. I like the card, but I think it'd always be my 101st card.
Your logic makes sense. I'm just looking for a good excuse to run that card as I love the effect. Although, it would work better for Ghave or Kresh if the card kicked in whenever a creature was sacrificed and not an "on-usage" kind of effect.
Fellow Ulasht player here. I like your list. Mana Echoes is a superstar in this deck. One of the reasons why I love playing Ulasht is that she enables one to build a deck that can win easily with aggro or combo. I've started to put a little bit more emphasis on mana echoes combo.
Psychotrope Thallid will allow you to draw into your entire deck with the sprout swarm/mana echoes combo, finding your last combo piece. It also synergizes very well with the aggro strategies of the deck by creating dudes and allowing you to draw. Since ulasht decks use creatures as a resource, the thallid will draw you cards pretty much everytime it hits the board.
Speaking of removal, I also have gotten a lot of value out of Pyroblast and Red Elemental Blast in this kind of deck.
Don't you love this commander? I've had the most fun playing Ulasht than any other deck I've tried or built.
It's one of my most successful generals and oldest at this point, I really do like Ulasht. I'll reply to your other points when it's not so late, but I love your enthusiasm too and approach to synergy.
I'm not so keen on removal that's colour focused unless it's Jaya, but in certain metagames, I see Pyroblast and REB would be very powerful.

I havent updated this list for a long time, but records indicate I am still the most frequent updater of Ulasht even with that infrequency, so I thought I would make a new update.
The strategy section is way out of date, but I'll try update it, since I've decided this is one of the few decks that is associated with me at my LGS (Marton is the other, and I like to play Kaalia or Kaervek too). I still feel this guy is competitive and if anyone has any positive or negative experiences trying him I would be happy to hear them.
In the last game I played (I don't often get to), using Survival of the Fittest, I was close to winning on about turn six or seven, with the help of Kiki-Jikki, Mirror Breaker, Deranged Hermit, Xenagos, the Reveler, Sol Ring and the above Survival of the Fittest. The Sharuum player countering my Eternal Witness for a Zealous Conscripts, which had been countered the turn prior, gave the win to the Kaalia player who had previously used Hellkite Tyrant to steal the Arcum player's entire board (due to Mycosynth Lattice and Darksteel Forge). So, it was competitive against good decks, just you some things you can't forsee.

I've found deck is a little slower than desirable in starting, but has a strong midgame. I'll see about speeding that up with more mana guys when I can test it a bit more.
Tempt with Vengeance and Primal Vigor also have a role here from Commander 2013. I'll be making a Prosh token (not pure combo) to contrast to this one, hence the clash.

Today I managed to get in two games, first game I did quite well, even after Kaalia player Armageddoned. Deck had resilience, but was still slow, so this needs to be addressed.
Second game, I was able to ramp a bit faster and whenever Purphoros was out the deck was very threatening. This is also after Earthcraft was targeted due to fear (rightfully so) of Squirrel Nest combo. It was good to get some games in, so hopefully for my few followers here, I'll have more to report eventually.

I agree. We should all only play g/x decks because they are the most objectively fun and anyone who disagrees does not know the truth about EDH. Everyone should just play their decks because interaction beyond high fiving about how many land are in play is unfun and equivalent to casting Stasis while kicking puppies. I for one will never play with anyone who casts tutors, removal spells, blue cards, things I arbitrarily decide I don't like but will probably cast myself later.
I tweaked the deck list a bit and sleeved up for a game last weekend. I only had time to play 1 game, in this case against Oona/Rhys/Mimeoplasm/some mono-G guy. Due to getting purphoros out early I was controlling the table with tokens and ETB triggers, so I tweaked it a bit more to try to generate even more tokens. I ended up one turn short, but considering it was the first time I'd played the deck I was very surprised!
This is a way delayed reply, but thank you for giving my deck a go. If you're not stopped it can be very explosive. I like a lot of the token guys you upped it with, although some are too pricey in my opinion. The other direction I was thinking was going more mana elves and also using the new nyx Revel of the Fallen God.

Sprout Swarm allows you to make infinite saprolina tokens and infinite mana with mana echoes once you have 3 or so saps out. Then, kill everyone with Blasting Station or Goblin Bombardment, or just use the mana to lay waste to everyone and everything with a Comet Storm.
Psychotrope Thallid will allow you to draw into your entire deck with the sprout swarm/mana echoes combo, finding your last combo piece. Goblin Bombardment and blasting station also synergize well. I also use Planar Portal which has been very helpful in finding answers in these colors.

Xenagos, the Reveler and Purphoros, the Forge God are the most obvious inclusions, I'll see about the other cards before I include them. I've also gone more combo based due to metagame and included Zealous Conscripts. I'ms trongly considering including Summoner's Pact too.

Have you made any recent updates to your list? A few cards in mine I don't see here:
Stone-Seeder Hierophant - love it with Gaea's Cradle.
Dragonlair Spider - Makes tokens and gives me an air blocker, something my deck is weaker against.
Vexing Shusher - Perfect against control decks
Hooded Hydra and Lifeblood Hydra - Lifeblood, especially, has saved the game for me many times.
Shamanic Revelation - From the new Fate Reforged set, strict upgrade from Collective Unconscious.
