The idea behind this deck is that it can search out an answer to any problem at any time and then has multiple ways to win. There are a number of repeatable toolboxes. The deck is getting extremely refined and what I'm hoping to do is have it so that there are basically no dead draws. I'm always trying to refine it more however. The general is sliver overlord because he has a cute little toolbox of his own and he can also get in there for general damage reasonably well. 7 power is very relevant as he kills in three hits. The key for the labeling is here:
The Mimeoplasm and Lord of Extinction. It combos with triskellion to deal a ton of damage. I'm not sure if it's worth it but its a reasonable combo. If I did this, I think I would cut Intuition and add Buried Alive Elvish Harbinger - Because it can search for Crib swap, it means that every toolbox in my deck can search out removal. It also accelerates and fixes my mana. Duplicant - I think I might want more removal and more threats. This is both and it goes in the treasure mage toolbox.
Cards I'm considering cutting:
Burgeoning - It is really good when I have it in my opening hand along with at least 3 lands but besides that its kind of week most of the time. Rofellos - He seems awesome but in practice, he usually doesnt tap for that much because I only run 5 forests and he is often very difficult to get out for the same reason.
Tips for building this deck on a budget:
There are actually not a ridiculous amount of expensive cards in the deck. The most expensive cards are the lands. If you want to build this cheap, basically scrap the entire Knight of the Reliquary toolbox as the Knight is expensive in itself. To build a good 5 color manabase on a budget is actually not as hard as it looks. Throw in every good duel you own and then add all 5 shards tri-lands, and if you have ravnica duels or original duels the panorama's are good too.
Rofellos can just be something like wood elves or something like that. Survival of the Fittest, Genesis and Fauna Shaman are all awesome, but not necessary. Blightsteel Colossus is pricey now but should go down and Darksteel Colossus isn't much more.
I just added a few pretty pricey cards in Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Kira, Great Glass Spinner and Angus Mckenzie. These are pretty important so you should try to find something that would do similar functions. Kiki-Jiki is for infinite combos so you can try to squeeze different ones in though I haven't really found budget ones. If you do take her out, probably take out Necrotic Ooze, Intruder Alarm and Triskellion because theyre mostly for combos though the ooze and the alrarm are pretty fine by themselves.
Kira is a way to protect Sisay and to a lesser extent, Zur, who you really need to keep the deck going. Its really great for sisay to be able to fetch out either a way to bring himself back if he gets killed (Volrath's Stronghold) or a way to protect himself if he doesnt (kira) so I would add back in Pemmin's Aura and maybe play Phyrexian Reclamation as nice recursion.
Play Guide:
In almost every situation, the first thing you want to fetch is Captain Sisay. He can tutor up nearly every card in the deck including lands. Once you activate him, you usually want to go get Minamo as it lets him activate twice per turn. After that you really have a few choices. If you are worried about removal, you can go get either volrath's stronghold if youre worried about sweepers or Kira, Great Glass Spinner to protect him from spot removal. If you aren't so worried about removal you usually want to go get Zur because he is the second best tutor in your deck. Obviously if there is some other problem you have lots of other alternatives to search up. This deck is actually impossible to play if you dont have experience with it. You really really need to know what is in it before you try to play it. I would suggest keeping this page up the first time you try so you know what you have to search for.
After you play Sliver overlord, I think the best play, usually, is to get amoeboid Changeling because being able to steal a creature per turn is a little bit gross.
This deck's toughest matchups are aggro decks as it doesnt have a lot of early game. Luckily, it doesnt do much in the first few turns so it shouldn't draw too much attention. kor haven, solitary confinement, story circle, Angus Mackenzie, Hide/Seek and removal are your best friends against these decks.
I just took out the card Peer Pressure. I'm not sure if the deck plays enough creatures to really take advantage of it but the point is that the card is to take advantage of the fact that nearly every creature in the deck is a Human. Some of the most popular EDH generals including Zur, The Enchanter, Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir, Rafiq of the Many, Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, Azami, Lady of Scrolls, Jhoira of the Ghitu, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Kresh the Bloodbraided, Merieke Ri Berit, Saffi Eriksdotter, Godo, Bandit Warlord, Captain Sisay and basically every mono red general are humans. Stealing a general for good is pretty powerful so if you have the chance you probably want to do it.
It seems like Glissa the traitor would be really powerful here. It has a lot of synergy with Trinket Mage (Executioner's Capsule), as well as Stonehewer Giant (Thornbite Staff), and is just really powerful overall. It seems like it'd be a prety solid include.
I'll have to think about how to approach this kind of thing. Toolboxing is SO much fun in this format.
EDIT: Tezzeret, the Seeker is a good one since it's redundant for both Stonehewer and Trinket Mage. Also, Stoneforge Mystic?
May not be of use, but I'll expand on what Wildfire mentioned...
Flamekin Harbinger fetches any elemental card. And since Horde can recur it, it's repeatable too.

You're totally right and there are even some synnergies you missed. She can work with the capsule and can be tutored up by Skyshroud Poacher and Captain Sissay. I just switched out brittle effigy for the capsule and added her in. I don't think thornbite staff is that great. Pinging is underwhelming in EDH
btw, as long as you're using sunforger, i suggest tithe, mistveil plains, and orim's chant (silence if you can't afford it, but it's really worth the money for the kicker).
tithe off the sunforger to fetch mistveil plains, then use mistveil plains to recycle spells for reuse with sunforger (or other toolboxes that can't recycle things on their own, meaning everything but lin). This is especially brutal with orim's chant because once the game gets down to 1v1 you can get 99% lockdown on them - they can't cast non-instant spells or attack.
Other brutal fetchables include punish ignorance, fight to the death (when someone else gets attacked, obviously), mirrorweave (soooo insane), dawn charm (repeatable fog/counter/regen), oblation, bant charm (no one gets a general except me), ghostway, (obliterate?...BWAHAHA)...probably many more i can't remember off the top of my head.
Mistveil Plains is a MUST if you're using Sunforger. Great way to not only protect your graveyard, but also to be able to reuse Sunforger targets as well. In general, Mistveil Plains is really good in this kind of deck that runs so many tutors.
I'm quite intrigued by this deck, considering I love toolboxes in general. I've never been impressed by Congregation at Dawn though. You're already running such a ridiculous density of tutoring that you can easily cut it for a better standalone card.

Mistveil Plains is awesome. I added it for Mosswort Bridge as I didn't think I'd ever really get 10 power on the board reliably. As far as congregation at dawn, I've never been particularly impressed with it either but in testing, one problem is that I'll often get into an awkward situation where I just don't have any of my creature tutors. Once I get one, I can basically get them all but it's a problem if I'm just sitting there waiting for them. In addition, congregation at dawn is the only creature tutor I can play off of the sunforger
I changed the General to Sliver Overlord. Basically all that Horde was doing was allowing Ashling, the Extinguisher to be recurred which was less than exciting and it allowed Reveillark to be recurred which is cool but it's only one card. Sliver Overlord lets you search for mirror entity and Crib Swap but most importantly, with it's second ability, Amoeboid Changeling and Sheilds of Velis Vel let you steal your opponents creatures which is reeeally sweet.

Did you miss that Glissa has Deathtouch, or are there just not that many artifacts you want to recur?
Thornbite Staff on glissa reads:
2: destroy target creature, return target artifact from your graveyard to your hand.
That seems pretty powerful to me.
Sun Titan seems really good here, considering there are an awful lot of cards that cost three or less that you might want to recur, including a good number of your tutoring engines. It's also a soft lock with Solitary Confinement.
Spirit of Resistance is really good in some 5 color decks. Tutorable via zur, can be recurred and tutor'd up again. Seems like a powerful inclusion to me.
EDIT: It seems like the deck is going to be awfully mana hungry, but you don't really have much ramp. I feel like you're running an awful lot of cards just because you can instead of because they contribute positively to the deck.
Stuff like Standstill seems pretty sub par. I know that your tutors are combat- and activated ability-based, but this just doesn't seem to fit.
I just chose not to include tapping as part of the cost, but I guess that's a little clearer. Thanks for the clarification.
No, not as part of the cost..... when the creature she shoots dies, thornbite untaps her, and you get to do it again and again for as long as you have mana open. Sweep the table, get all your artifacts back, and swing!
Wow sooo ya. Those were 2 pretty stupid oversights on my part. Yes, I indeed was completely missing the deathtouch on Glissa, and yes I was also completely missing the eladamari's call. I think I may just cut the congregation for the the Thornbite Staff

Right, I'm completely aware. I was cutting that part out since it was redundant. Instead of 2, Tap: Kill a Guy, Rebuy, Untap, I just cut out the tap part of the cost, since the untap part of the resulting effect makes it unnecessary. I oversimplified and made it seem more complicated than it was.
I think that Eladamri's Call is worth a slot. Being able to tutor up any creature seems really powerful.
Hall of the Bandit Lord seems really good. Give any number of your creature-based tutor engines haste?
the problem that I see with this deck is that you've got a million answers, there's a ton of synergy and interactions, but I don't know that there are that many interactions that are really that powerful. I can see you locking up the game with a Mindslaver lock, but other than that, I don't really see many ways to close out a game. Here are some thouhts regarding that:
Nim Deathmantle + Yosei, the Morning Star. Or even just Mistveil Plains + Captain Sisay + Sac Outlet (miren?) + Yosei. Maybe even Arcum Dagsson -> Stuff would be worthwhile. I mean, it'd mostly get mindslaver, but could also be a second tutor for the equipment you're running.
I don't really know how I feel about the treasure mage toolbox. What does Contagion engine really do? Is Akroma's Memorial worth it when your guys are so small to start with?
I'd still really like to see a Sun Titan since SO many of your guys are 3cc or less, it seems like it'd be a really powerful inclusion.
I'd also like to see a Linvala, Keeper of Silence. It shuts down SO many of the powerful generals, that I think it's pretty much an auto-include. It's a little hard to find since only Sisay goes and gets it, but I think it's certainly worthwhile.

Adding Sliver Overlord added a bunch of those. All of the cards that he can use to start stealing the opponents creatures are extremely powerful. There is also the Kahmahl + Crovax Combo that starts killin your opponents lands. Plus, there are just big fat things that can win the game on their own. In general this deck does not want to just bash in. It usually wants to sit back and ward off other attacks until people kill themselves and then win. Its definitely a control deck

Ya, I've actually been looking at both the trinket and treasure mage toolboxes as trinket mage and treasure mage are not actually searchable by any other card and they aren't repeatable either. The contagion engine is just because this deck has so little mass removal and its good against something like Uril. I think I'm going to cut Akroma's Memorial. I like sun titan though the fact that it can't recur either zur or captain sissay which are the most important cards in the deck is a little annoying but the fact that it can recur a lot of the other ones and the entire Zur toolbox is very useful.
I'd also like to see a Linvala, Keeper of Silence. It shuts down SO many of the powerful generals, that I think it's pretty much an auto-include. It's a little hard to find since only Sisay goes and gets it, but I think it's certainly worthwhile.

Standstill and Elixir of Immortality are out. Arcum Dagsson and spirit of resistance are in. The ramp is this deck's biggest weaknes. Does anybody have any suggestions for really good ramp? To be honest, there isn't a single card outside of sol ring that I have found to just be really awesome as far as ramp goes...Right now this deck relies on rofellos, sol ring, and trinket mage and captain sissay being able to tutor up lands.
I added in Weathered Wayfarer to be a redundant searcher for the Knight toolbox as well as a way to insure the deck hits its early drops. I think I'm also going to add Imperial Recruiter because it pretty much searches out everything important in the deck

Trinket Mage:
Executioner's Capsule, Dispeller's Capsule, Engineered Explosives are all good removal spells to find.
Pithing Needle and Chalice of the Void can shut down some generals or strategies.
Horde:
Crib Swap and Nameless Inversion are removal spells that can be re-used by Horde. Also, any Evoke guys, but particularly Shriekmaw and Mulldrifter, and to a lesser extent Ingot Chewer and Whispmare can be evoked and then cast.
Stonehewer:
Sword of Light and Shadow and Sword of Fire and Ice seem to be missing here. If you're going to run Shield over DS Plate, consider running the whole Kaldra set. Also consider running other guys who can tutor equipment, like Godo, Bandit Warlord (tutorable with Sissay), Stoneforge Mystic, and Taj-Nar Swordsmith
Poacher:
Seems to me that if you're not pulling out Viridian Zealot, you're wasting some potential here. Might want to also consider some combination of Farhaven Elf, Wood Elves, Civic Wayfinder, Sylvan Ranger, Quirion Trailblazer, Yavimaya Granger to accelerate and fix your mana
Zur:
Necropotence? Necromancy also plays as a better Animate Dead here.
Other Spells:
Condemn, Oblation, Hallowed Burial, Hinder, Spin into Myth, Bant Charm should always be considered.

In addition, congregation at dawn is the only creature tutor I can play off of the sunforger

so what does that make eladamri's call?
i agree with chaos, though, this deck seems really interesting, and i favor overlord, it seems much more in keeping with the rest of the deck.

You forgot to add "untap this creature" and repeat to the end of that. Glissa with Thornbite is very good.

No, not as part of the cost..... when the creature she shoots dies, thornbite untaps her, and you get to do it again and again for as long as you have mana open. Sweep the table, get all your artifacts back, and swing!

I'm not sure the mana base can handle another land that doesnt tap for colorless or I would add it
Adding Sliver Overlord added a bunch of those.
I'll try to find a spot for linvala as well

Standstill and Elixir of Immortality are out. Arcum Dagsson and spirit of resistance are in. The ramp is this deck's biggest weaknes. Does anybody have any suggestions for really good ramp? To be honest, there isn't a single card outside of sol ring that I have found to just be really awesome as far as ramp goes...Right now this deck relies on rofellos, sol ring, and trinket mage and captain sissay being able to tutor up lands.
