I have quite a few more cards devoted to ramping into big mana so I could understand if you dont want to run Kozilek. I can relatively consistently hit his mana on turn 5 or 6 though if everything is going well. I run a lot of ramp to make the token production extra large though.
I had been sort of tossing Expedition Map around in my head as well... Valukut is good removal but I just tend get Strip Mined every time I get it going...
You might be right about axing Inferno Titan... I like him but he doesnt really lend himself to doing anything partular for the deck... it is good for removing utility commanders repeatedly though but outside of that it hurts if he is stolen.
When you actually compare them it almost makes me laugh at how much more you have, i hadn't realised it was that much difference. I really need to try get one more in at least then. Perhaps Reiterate or Aggravated Assault is questionable, although I really like Assault.
The map may be missing link to deal with pesky commanders and disabiling utility cards (like a certain Kithkin Advisor).
Starstorm might be an idea for sweeping, as it is instant and if done after attacking wrecks them and not us.

Starstorm is sort of interesting.... What I hate about it though is that it hits all of our guys at like any cost that we use it at... I would almost rather include Comet Storm where we can answer a few troublesome targets at once without hitting our own guys. It isnt as good if we are playing against an opposing token swarm but it allows us to dump mana at instant speed and answer a lot of good targets still.
I think if your group runs a bit lighter on the targeted land d then the Map could be a good solution to increase your removal suite as Valukut is amazing when it sticks.

Yes, hitting own guys is awful, I'm surprised no earthquake that doesnt hit red guys hasn't been made yet. It would fit this deck so very well.
I won't include map, but I've been mana screwed enough that I think the Wayfarer's Bauble would be useful, so I'll remove Reiterate to focus thee further and it hasn't been inspiring against non-blue decks.

I realized we were both missing Buried Ruin from our lists. Considering you have a count of 28 artifacts in your list it might be worth adding.
Indeed, that seems essential. So Mouth of Ronom will be out for Buried Ruin. I'm now almost tempted to scale back mountains for Winding Canyons when I get it, LGS had none unfortunately.

I added Winding Canyons, so only Monkey Cage remains of the desired changes.
I only have one game to report, but it ended how EDH games should.
I wasn't doing well, but I was in a solid position with a lot of blockers against Mimeoplasm, Kresh and Merieke I think.
I wasn't going to break through the wall of permanents Mimeoplasm had due to my only good sweeper All is Dust being in graveyard. So I used the mana I had to take off all Spawning Pit counters to bring myself up to 20 permanents for Warp World. Mimeoplasm had 13, Merieke about 9 and Kresh less than that.
After using Valakut triggers to decimate board of Mimeoplasm who did best after me with 8 creatures (and Avatar of Woe, Necrotic Ooze and and Visara, the Dreadful) my Urabrask and Kresh's traded instantly, I obliterated Mimeo's graveyard wth Relic of Progenitus, played Gauntlet of Power, Lightning Greaves and Ib Halfheart, Goblin Tactician. Merieke killed greaves and not gauntlet which was curious, but allowed me to win turn after by playing Myr Incubator, Vicious Shadows and general. It was a very good game for that deck that made every piece tie in well together.

Man I love flipping Warp World in this deck congrats on the win it sounds like it was a hard matchup. Merieke is a ***** to get around with Marton.
It sounds like dropping Marton in could have been a good call as well assuming you could afford to drop him and Ib after the warp world. It would have been a bit of an all in move though I suppose.
Congrats on the game.
EDIT: what do you think of Nim Deathmantle in here? I have been using it myself to good results. I can sacrifice guys and revive them using it or save things in a wrath. It has been really quite good so far in my testing. Especially with something like Siege-Gang Commander or a Simulacrum in play.

Congrats on the game.
He had died once, so couldn't come back in same turn. It was a thought though, I just need him and Incubator going off in same turn and yeah I love Warp World too, no deck uses it better in my opinion.
Edit: On Nim Deathmantle I'm not sure I really have the mana to get it equiped, but for you would recommend removing Aggravated Assault I take it?

I have found the Deathmantle quite useful just sitting on some mana. It works fantastic with any eldrazi spawn guys as they are like mana biscuits ready to run into the deathmantle to rez. It works really well with sac outlets as well. Overall it has been positive for me and yes I would suggest it over Aggravated Assault just because of the fact that I think the enchantment is sort of winmore. If you have a good attacking force that would make it worth paying 5 mana for another attack then I think you already probably had the game.
I would likely take it over Swiftfoot Boots as well... personally.
As a side note for the deathmantle. Remember that if you strap it to marton it makes him a black zombie with intimidate which is essentially evasion for him plus if you just sit behind mana up it makes it hard to do much to marton outside of exile him.

I had a game earlier today against 8 and half tails and Wort, BA.The Wort was a combo deck, so I can't be blamed I suppose for not having too many answers (especially when white deck didn't answer it either!), but what was an issue was slow ramp and doing little for ages. So I've added Mind Stone and removed Pillage, since I can't work out what else would be better to lose. I still haveSkred and Aftershock as spot removal.

I agree that you probably should up your mana ramp in here. Unfortunately there is just so many thinks that mono R is going to have trouble answering so I have found that just speeding up my own clock to really bring some competitiveness to the list.
Marton does sort of suck in smaller tables though. He blends in the best in 4+ player tables where others apear to be larger threats then we can just drop in and steal the game. I have had a few games where I just kill 4 players in one turn because I was able to blend in. However as you move to the larger games you have to accept that you are not going to be able to control them all. Smaller games it hurts to take that mentality for though just how you had issues. With less opponents there is less eb and flow of the game and more of just one player dropping huge threats and winning.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
I can win three player games, but it's more when it's not combo or suddenly they win due to something the deck has limited ways to interact with. Slower control decks without combo are arguably better to vs than combo as they still have to lock you down and wrath you, not ignore you.
I'm getting closer to amount of ramp you have ISB, so it's not that disparate, I'm just still attached to certain cards (Dolmen Gate), or I suppose I would more all in on it.

I think the fact that I tend to play my list a bit more all in is the big difference between our lists currently. I don't even cast Marton unless his swinging will kill 1+ players. And even then I dont like playing him without a means to give him haste.

That was a really horrible game for Laurence's Tails deck. It was built to go toe to toe with My Wort deck. He just didn't see any of the answers. The way My Wort deck is built I try to avoid too much interaction and for You being in mono red You're going to have a harder time forcing interaction than in any other colours.

Playing card filtering would result in some consistency, although you also saw a draw with no early ramp (I mean turn 4 Wayfarer's :() and no cheap token generators. I would need more games to test if it was just too slow, although all the above options but Crystal Ball seem valid. I really find the power level of CB underwhelming, especially in a deck that's meant to be relatively aggro.

I've had a Marton deck for a while, and over time, I settled on the same strategy that you're going for. The best way to play Marton does seem to be to just make a bunch of tokens and use a haste enabler to turn him into a massive overrun. Against anyone who knows your deck, Marton probably isn't surviving a full turn around the table, so he really needs the haste.
A few card choice questions and suggestions:
Monkey Cage - How good has this been for you? I considered it for my list, but it always seemed too variable for me. I was afraid people would just not play big guys or choose to play a Trinket Mage first.
Orochi Hatchery - This seems way too mana intensive to be any good. How has it been for you?
Ib Halfheart, Goblin Tactician - I thought about including him, but he always felt too much like putting all of your eggs in one basket. How good is he?
Springjack Pasture - It's another token land that prevents you from flooding out. Seems like a fine addition to me.
Akroma's Memorial - It's a haste enabler that does quite a lot more than that, making your guys very hard to block and also giving your general a great deal of protection. Might be a bit expensive for some metagames, but I've always found it amazing.
Slate of Ancestry - Seems like an insane card draw effect in this type of deck. Not sure why you're not running it.
Hall of the Bandit Lord - It's yet another haste enabler in land form. I'm tepid on this one, since its drawbacks have definitely hurt me before, but I still like its utility.
Expedition Map - This is really too good not to include. You've a great list of cards to fetch, and you can slot it in place of a land without too much worry.
Armillary Sphere - Good card advantage and mana fetch for red, helping to ensure you reach that 6 - 8th land drop. I like it.
Thopter Assembly - I like this as a decent token producer that makes evasive guys, which is hard to come by in monored. It's relatively cheap, and reusable if the tokens die off (and the Assembly doesn't). It's a bit slow though, especially without a haste enabler.
Steel Hellkite - This guy is great with haste. I like him a bit better than Wurmcoil since he deals with opposing permanents and does more than just beat.
Moggcatcher - Tutors for goblins repeatedly, which you already have a bunch of. Anything that fetches Kiki-Jiki should be considered.
Knollspine Dragon - This has been an awesome card draw effect for me. I've regularly drawn 8-10 cards off of it. Seems better than something like Sword of Light and Shadow for card advantage when you have so few actual creature cards.
Mana Echoes - This card is absolutely insane with most token makers. Each creature at minimum generates 1 additional mana, and often generates more. Goes infinite with Pentavus, though that's quite frankly unnecessary. Warp Worlding into this is pretty absurd too.
Warstorm Surge - This card has been pretty good for me as well. Token producers turn into Rolling Thunder, while larger creatures can more legitimately win without your general. It's a bit on the expensive side, but IMO its effect is worth it. And while we're on the subject of Warp World...
Finally, there's a pretty decent goblin combo in case you're not aware. Goblin Recruiter into Goblin Ringleader, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Lightning Crafter, and Skirk Prospector (in that order) lets you set up for an instant win next turn, assuming you have enough mana. It's basically a one-card combo thanks to Recruiter, and you have three ways of tutoring it out with Goblin Matron, Moggcatcher, and Gamble. I ended up cutting the combo since it was taking up too many slots and three of the cards (Ringleader, Crafter, and Prospector) did very little, but it's an option.

It certainly seems to be the strategy for Marton, although Myr Incubator and Eldrazi Monument is still pretty ridiculous.

Monkey Cage
This has been alright, I havent seen it come out too much yet, so I can't say with too much authority it is good or bad. In theory it is good and resuable with Welder, which is my current rationale.
Orochi Hatchery
This is indeed very expensive, I havent wanted to cast it too often, but the worst thing for this deck is being stranded with no token generators, so we work with what we have.
Ib halfheart, Goblin Tactician
This little guy is my backup plan and he works more often than you would think, often people scoop when they see you have Marton with haste and many goblins. I go for Myr Incubator when possible more than this normally, although he can be tutored for equally effectively. Both are all in, just one requires you to tap the mana, the other doesn't.
Springjack Pasture
It could be okay and I'll consider it, just the upside is too small and the token costs too much. I understand how it is flooding out and being mana screwed, but ideally mana will be tied up.
Akroma's Memorial
I really hadn't considered this for a haste enable, although it is certainly very flashy, I'll have to try get one, I really like it.
Slate of Ancestry - Seems like an insane card draw effect in this type of deck. Not sure why you're not running it.

Slate of Ancestry
It's a good card, the downside is I dislike ditching my hand too often. I found out in my Ulasht deck that to use this you need to be willing to lose what you have for better things. It would be good card draw and I'll consider it.
[CARD]
Hall of the Bandit Lord[/CARD]
This is certainly a good idea, although I have the feeling it would be quite painful over the long term. This deck rarely gets the god draw of a blazing win (although possible) and the damage will add up. Beyond this there are currently 4 mass haste enablers and 2 singular for general. One less will be fine and I might add Akroma's Memorial to assist with it.
Expedition Map and Armilliary Sphere
ISBPathfinder made a case for these too, I'm still not keen on them, but I'm not ignoring the suggestion entirely. I run a lot of ramp beyond these and I dont feel like ones that don't ramp and only meet land drops are enough.
Thopter Assembly
I could consider this is in the place of something slower, but my concern is it will die and do nothing for me. That is it really. It could be more effective than OH, so I'll bring one along and maybe begin testing with it soon.

Steel Hellkite
He has ben raised as an idea before and would be removal albeit slow, I'm not sold on him.
Moggcatcher
This needs to survivve a turn to be effective, but I suppose it would be a valid for idea for fetching SGC and then Ib.
Knollspine Dragon
SoLaS is in there for general protection too, attacking when not going for alpha strike (Or a lot) would be uncharacteristic of my playstyle in this deck, sonot sure how often he would fire.
Mana Echoes
I see how this would be of benefit, although by no means infinite or capable of comboing. I would rather run Mana Geyser to this for a massive surge of mana.
Warstorm Surge
This is extremely expensive for what it does, I'll consider it, but I imagine it delays what you would play many turns just to try get the dream off and trigger something big with it.
I ended up cutting the combo since it was taking up too many slots and three of the cards (Ringleader, Crafter, and Prospector) did very little, but it's an option.
I'm aware of the combo, but it's a bit much effort to get for this deck, I'd rather be all in on the token theme, which was the very reason the deck was made. It's a valid suggestiona nd direction though.
List tags are malformed.

I also have a Marton list so I figured I would throw my $0.02 in the matter from my own experience. The big difference is I focus a lot more in a 1 turn all in kill everyone turn which is slightly different than Moogle's primary playstyle of him.

Monkey Cage - How good has this been for you? I considered it for my list, but it always seemed too variable for me. I was afraid people would just not play big guys or choose to play a Trinket Mage first.
I personally don't run this card due to what you stated. I doubt it would be feasable to drop this artifact and a decent creature in the same turn so you are relying on your opponents to drop something big but it seems too easy to side track and drop a 2-4 mana guy instead. I wouldn't normally pay 5 mana and a card for 2-4 tokens once.

Orochi Hatchery - This seems way too mana intensive to be any good. How has it been for you?
It is mana intensive but it is one of those people need to answer it or you run away with it. I tend to drop 6 mana into it when I get it early on which gives me 3 tokens for 5 mana at instant speed which is a decent option. I have had huge turns with it before. I remember one game where I dropped a Mana Geyser in a 5 player game and then tapped out for 38 mana total. I then dropped the Hatchery for 20 mana, 5 more mana and tapped it for my 10 dudes that turn, Dropped Marton into play, and then dropped Insurrection to run everyone over in one shot.
Generally speaking though you will use the hatchery as a continuous spawn source that lives through normal wraths. It can give you some good chump blockers and you can spawn them at instant speed which makes it good. It can be answered but this deck is all about haveing a ton of high profile artifacts and if they answer this one then they wont have their answer for the next one.

Ib Halfheart, Goblin Tactician - I thought about including him, but he always felt too much like putting all of your eggs in one basket. How good is he?
Generally speaking I wont go all in with him anymore. I will usually use him to spawn 4-6 guys in the late game if it means winning the game. I wont go under 6 lands left in play though usually as if it backfires it will leave you dead. Evaluate the situation and if you know you will get away with it then go for it but usually I am cautious of going all in. Regardless he is great in the fact that he is a low mana source of a lot of dudes.

Springjack Pasture - It's another token land that prevents you from flooding out. Seems like a fine addition to me.
It could.... it is just really really expensive to use which is unfortunate. I might give it a spin just for an extra mana dump but man 5 mana for a single token really blows...

Akroma's Memorial - It's a haste enabler that does quite a lot more than that, making your guys very hard to block and also giving your general a great deal of protection. Might be a bit expensive for some metagames, but I've always found it amazing.
I personally run very all in and while this is another haste outlet it draws hate like no other. It honestly doesnt really matter much for this deck and it is expensive to cast which makes it hard to cast with your army in the same turn. In my opinion it has more scare factor than it has actual teeth. If it gave pro white and black or something then it might be more reasonable for this deck.

Hall of the Bandit Lord - It's yet another haste enabler in land form. I'm tepid on this one, since its drawbacks have definitely hurt me before, but I still like its utility.
It could be an interesting add but my resistance is that I tend to tap down a ton of mana on a regular basis. I wonder how much it would hurt me over the course of the game. I tend to only cast Marton 1-2 times in an average game and so I wonder if it would be worth the hassle of this.

Expedition Map - This is really too good not to include. You've a great list of cards to fetch, and you can slot it in place of a land without too much worry.
It could be good. I personally have been adding more utility land which would make it nice. I think I have triggered Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle a whole of like once ever... then it got blown up. Valakut never lives for me so I dont know if I would tutor for it but it is funny if I would ever flip it in a Warp World which somehow I never get that lucky. I might have to try to make some room to make that work out.

Armillary Sphere - Good card advantage and mana fetch for red, helping to ensure you reach that 6 - 8th land drop. I like it.
I might also try to run this in my list. I never have enough land in play and this is a good way to keep them coming. I might have to cut a mana stone to make it happen though... I guess I will see.

Thopter Assembly - I like this as a decent token producer that makes evasive guys, which is hard to come by in monored. It's relatively cheap, and reusable if the tokens die off (and the Assembly doesn't). It's a bit slow though, especially without a haste enabler.
I run it and it is cute but it rarely stays a whole turn. However it makes for some fun Goblin Wielder plans which is probably my favorite way to use it. I will sort of stealth it in at the end of my opponents turns to spawn a ton of guys and then I can swap a token out for what I threw away if I want. It can be cute but I sort of wonder what the normal success rate for it is.

Steel Hellkite - This guy is great with haste. I like him a bit better than Wurmcoil since he deals with opposing permanents and does more than just beat.
I run this guy too and I haven't really managed to do anything with him yet he is amazing vs other token decks which can give us problems. My biggest concern would be if someone else would Bribery him up against us... Other than that I think he is fine.

Knollspine Dragon - This has been an awesome card draw effect for me. I've regularly drawn 8-10 cards off of it. Seems better than something like Sword of Light and Shadow for card advantage when you have so few actual creature cards.
I personally run an all in sort of marton list. I almost never do any damage to someone until I am killing them so this is no good in my own experience. If you planned on a lot more turns of just swinging for 6-12 damage and what not he would be cute. I tried him in my own list and just found I could never cast him for cards.

Mana Echoes - This card is absolutely insane with most token makers. Each creature at minimum generates 1 additional mana, and often generates more. Goes infinite with Pentavus, though that's quite frankly unnecessary. Warp Worlding into this is pretty absurd too.
I also considered this but I just didnt see much I could chain it between. It would be cute if you had like 3 X mana spawners avalible at once but this deck sucks for card draw and other than Pentavus which I dont run I didnt see a whole lot of synergy with it. It could be big mana but I just have a hard time putting it to use if I did have it.

Warstorm Surge - This card has been pretty good for me as well. Token producers turn into Rolling Thunder, while larger creatures can more legitimately win without your general. It's a bit on the expensive side, but IMO its effect is worth it. And while we're on the subject of Warp World...
I considered it for my own list but just never found it good enough to replace something else in my list. Ideally Vicious Shadows is a lot better for this list as it can turn a token swarm into multiple players dead. It is cute control but it was just further down on my own list of wants for the deck.
Interesting I didn't know about this combo and I didn't know about Goblin Ringleader at all but it does have a few too many cards that just totally suck for the deck. I personally wouldn't run it for those reasons but it is good to know about.

The Moggcatcher has been working out great, but still havent found space for others.
I'm also now pursuing the wish plan. I put Burning Wish in (since I could get a nice original foil one) and now have my sb as that seen on first post. I want Tears of Rage for it still. Likely over Mana Geyser or Chain Reaction, but regardless SB can now assist with everything but token generation since I run all the good ones main deck and Rally the Horde is just bad.

I havent had any posts for a while, but I'd like to note Monkey Cage has come out for Mana Geyser and Mana Geyser was replaced in Wish Sideboard by Boom//Bust. I'll try acquire a Mana Crypt to make it faster, lately I've had some frustrating issues with not being fast enough and not drawing enough lands. More practice will reveal success of this change.

I've made two minor changes, Ancient Tomb is now in over a Mountain to try accelerate me faster and Faithless Looting is now in. I took out All is Dust and shifted it to the Wish Sideboard. I'm still seeking to increase the speed of the deck, but early testing show it has improved, just needs to be faster against some decks (ie. faster than turn five Tooth and Nail into infinite Karmic Guide combo).

I am just going to jump in and say I don't think red can really compete with a turn 5 infinite regardless of the list...
The tomb seems like a fine add especially if you play against a lot of fast combo. Ooooo I didn't realize you already have a Gauntlet of Might... I am envious..

My ramp:
Your Ramp:

Yes, hitting own guys is awful, I'm surprised no earthquake that doesnt hit red guys hasn't been made yet. It would fit this deck so very well.

From there it was hard to lose after I didn't hit a single instant or socery and ended up with Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle, 9 Snow-Covered Mountains, Fervor, Emrakul's Hatcher, Urabrask the Hidden, Coldsteel Heart, Worn Powerstone, Goblin Matron, Keldon Necropolis, Scrying Sheets, Goblin Welder and Kher Keep.

I would likely take it over Swiftfoot Boots as well... personally.
As a side note for the deathmantle. Remember that if you strap it to marton it makes him a black zombie with intimidate which is essentially evasion for him plus if you just sit behind mana up it makes it hard to do much to marton outside of exile him.

After having a look at this deck in action yesterday it seems to Me like You need more card selection. Have You thought about Scroll Rack, Sensei's Divining Top, Crystal Ball and/or Planar Portal?
Playing card filtering would result in some consistency, although you also saw a draw with no early ramp (I mean turn 4 Wayfarer's :() and no cheap token generators. I would need more games to test if it was just too slow, although all the above options but Crystal Ball seem valid. I really find the power level of CB underwhelming, especially in a deck that's meant to be relatively aggro.

A few card choice questions and suggestions:
I'm aware of the combo, but it's a bit much effort to get for this deck, I'd rather be all in on the token theme, which was the very reason the deck was made. It's a valid suggestiona nd direction though.

It could.... it is just really really expensive to use which is unfortunate. I might give it a spin just for an extra mana dump but man 5 mana for a single token really blows...
I agree it has been great in my own list. Even if you are ditching your hand to draw 3-4 cards it is still a great card.
It could be an interesting add but my resistance is that I tend to tap down a ton of mana on a regular basis. I wonder how much it would hurt me over the course of the game. I tend to only cast Marton 1-2 times in an average game and so I wonder if it would be worth the hassle of this.
I might also try to run this in my list. I never have enough land in play and this is a good way to keep them coming. I might have to cut a mana stone to make it happen though... I guess I will see.
I run this guy too and I haven't really managed to do anything with him yet he is amazing vs other token decks which can give us problems. My biggest concern would be if someone else would Bribery him up against us... Other than that I think he is fine.
Interesting I didnt know about this guy... I will see if I can make him in the list it is kind of cool and I do have a good list of goblins in my list.
I personally run an all in sort of marton list. I almost never do any damage to someone until I am killing them so this is no good in my own experience. If you planned on a lot more turns of just swinging for 6-12 damage and what not he would be cute. I tried him in my own list and just found I could never cast him for cards.
I considered it for my own list but just never found it good enough to replace something else in my list. Ideally Vicious Shadows is a lot better for this list as it can turn a token swarm into multiple players dead. It is cute control but it was just further down on my own list of wants for the deck.
Interesting I didn't know about this combo and I didn't know about Goblin Ringleader at all but it does have a few too many cards that just totally suck for the deck. I personally wouldn't run it for those reasons but it is good to know about.

I would love to hear any feedback on SB choices.

The tomb seems like a fine add especially if you play against a lot of fast combo. Ooooo I didn't realize you already have a Gauntlet of Might... I am envious..
