I like the fact that it makes creature spells uncounterable. Eternal Witness becomes "pay RR: put target creature from your graveyard into play. It gains haste and gets sac'd at EOT."
Sneak Attack is where it's at. It's such a great rattlesnake, and it pairs well with Kresh. I run lots of guys that don't mind dying (Bloodfire Colossus, Persist/Undead stuff) or already provide value when they hit the field. Combine that with some basic reanimation (Genesis, Coffin Queen, Phyrexian Reclamation) and you've got a winner.

My thoughts exactly, so many of my card choices are based around Primeval Titan it's going to be really different.
What about increasing your basic land count and running Boundless Realms? You already have 15 basics, so you could add 5 to 7 more and swap out some of your non-colored-mana-producing lands.

I can only speak for myself here but I believe the problem in losing primeval titan is losing the ability to tutor up non basic lands like cabal coffers and urborg.

Yes, but Boundless Realms dramatically increases one's chances of drawing into non-basic lands or tutors.

I appreciate the thinning and the ramp, but why not simply use more draw spells?
I never ran the Cabal + Urborg land combo, but I will miss the ability to tutor up Kessig Wolf Run or Skarrg, the Rage Pits. While I had the Titan, I was contemplating the removal of Rancor and Brawn. Now, I think I'll keep them in.

Sure.... but we are talking about getting cards for sure vs maybe 10 less lands in your deck.
I haven't played my kresh deck in a while but did add jarad. He should be a nice win con with a tooth and nail and lord of extinction.
How has malignus been working? I'm looking for really huge creatures or creatures with great etb abilities because I'm adding in sneak attack. Though malignus seems like he'd always be half as big as I want him to be

So has anyone been playing their Kresh deck since primeval titan was banned? I tried a game out last night, and while I won I couldn't help feeling like there was a gaping hole in my deck. I may end up moving on to a combo, or re focusing the deck on something... else. Right now mine is basically a creature tool box with answers to everything. While I'd creature tutor all game for answers with birthing pod etc, I realized my finishers were actually my lands like cabal + urborg + kessig wolf run.
I'll have to really rethink this one.
On a side note: I won with jarad saccing kresh against a jarad deck I feel like kresh could make a seamless transition into jarad if warranted. Kresh is kind of a random win con, and red doesn't add much.

What do you guys prefer, creature ramp or spell ramp?
A mix of the cheapest, most efficient!. People say anything creature based in kresh is the best so he can be pumped, but a 1/1 farhaven elf is not going to offer much over a rampant growth except costing 1 more. That said I run both Small creatures are also great for skullclamp and reanimation, and can work well with a birthing pod. (Farhaven elf into solemn simulacrum etc).

Well I don't think Solemn is very fantastisc in a deck like this...
Wouldn't you prefer Sword of Light and Shadow over it?
He's not fantastic but he's good because of the birthing pod chain. Otherwise I'd be saccing oracle of mul daya at the 4 spot.
As for the sword... I'm not sure because I've never tried it.

Well, sword gets you some life, AND you can get some creatures back (and that's the interesting part) plus it can give kresh protection from some removal. Idk perhaps try it out and tell me how it goes ;).

Unfortunately I do not play Kresh anymore and actually haven't played Commander in months.
I am however brewing up a new list with a new Commander because my group has recently gotten back together so keep a look out for that.
