Hello, folks. First time posting in the EDH corner of the site - interested to see what you guys can come up with. Not too much in the way of budget restraints restricting this build (Capture of Jingzhou might be a little much, but Temporal Manipulation is reasonable), or very much in the way of house rules/gentleman's agreements in our playgroup. The meta is about 98% cutthroat, the 2% representing some of the more degenerate combos.
It's a ramp deck at heart - more cards, more land, more tempo - more of everything.
The cascade off Maelstrom Wanderer is tuned to be pretty ridiculous, both effective and fun, even without any of the library manipulation effects (Scroll Rack, Jace, Future Sight" target="blank">Future Sight, etc.) The "Fervor" effect is a complete beating, due to the high percentile of beatsticks landing simultaenously with Wanderer. Worst case scenario is usually that you wind up ramping yourself into the next one or two recastings of Wanderer.
Lots of accel, lots of card draw, lots of beatsticks. Hasn't needed much in the way of interaction, aside from its creatures.
First time I cascaded against my typical EDH partner it flipped a Memnarch and a Godo, Bandit Warlord, fetching Argentum Armor, swinging for 17. He figured that was probably a fluke, and it was in a sense, but there's an awful lot of those "fluke" draws packed into there and pretty few ways to whiff. Possibly the most enjoyable deck I've played in EDH.
Tossing around the idea of adding Food Chain into the list. Temporal Manipulation is also in the mail. Maybe Dream Halls? It's such a double-edged sword, though, and after the first turn a lot of your accel/tempo advantage probably evaporates because of it. Greater Good is on the radar, but I think it might be a tad too slow getting going, for my meta.

Seems like Avenger of Zendikar would be pretty strong, as well.
