It's funny that I just asked for your opinion on this.
I think I just found my replacement for Austere Command! LOL
Indeed. I mean, it doesn't stop regeneration either, but for the mana investment, you really can't go wrong. Who woulda thunk it, R gets the strongest sweeper of all.

Pretty big update here. I was playing and working on a kresh the bloodbraided deck, and a control/combo Grand Arbiter Augustin IV for the last few months. I pulled out kaalia for a 3 player free for all game and it resparked my interest enough to change her up. This has been long overdue.
Infinite combos - worldgorger is gone, along with sword of feast and famine + aggravated assault. These kind of wins were not fun to me, and felt out of place in an aggro style deck. I want to win with a fight.
Discard - mind twist, identity crisis, castigate. These more or less replaced the beatdown section. Now this deck is leaning more towards control, and can really shut people down at a small table. I decimated my last match with a a rakdos, the defiler on one guy, and a mind twist on the other. With this decision I have finally concluded that this deck will not be tuned for 4+ people at a table, although mass ld can do the job. I also wish there were 6 more cards as simple and efficient as castigate.
Sunforger - I realized that tutors are huge in this deck... and any competitive deck. Because I took out sword of feast and famine, I put this in it's place for testing. I already have a lot of removal, and this can get me an oblation or chaos warp in an instant to possibly shut down a game faster. It also makes skytherix kill faster. I also added in wild ricochet to test out with this.
Impending disaster - 3drinks has been touting this card and I'd like to give it a shot now that my meta has evolved into a state where mass ld is not the worst thing to happen anymore.
Gisela, Blade of Goldnight - In for moonveil dragon. I really wanted to like moonveil dragon, but I don't have enough red mana or creatures out to use it well. Similar to the beatdown seciton being removed really. I almost feel bad for not giving gisela her own deck.
Avacyn, Angel of Hope - My mass destruction theme just became a lot more interesting. She is in for reya dawnbringer for now. Besides her protection that kaalia often needs, her bigger role will probably be one sided wipes.
War's toll - Almost as good as grand abolisher. This really scares the blue players too. It's one more thing to give kaalia hope against counter spells and spot removal.

Nekusar, the Mindrazer - Draw to DieRBU
Marath, Will of the Wild - Token Pump and TapGWR

I haven't played her much since this card has been in, but the few games I did I know it annoyed the blue player. It's nice against any color becuase it offer's protection from instant speed removal when you try to equip things like lightning greaves. It's a very niche card for being able to cast Kaalia the next turn safely. I would not use this in a non all out speed deck.
As for the deck in general, I haven't been playing it as much because I need to upgrade some of my cards with top tier ramp like mana crypt and other 0 drops for her to stay competitive in my current meta.

Well, I recently took this deck apart. Instead of spending the big bucks on the absolute best artifact ramp to keep up with my meta, I've instead been enjoying a fat kresh the bloodbraided battlecruiser deck, token swarm rhys, the redeemed deck, sakashima the imposter steal/copy/control deck, and a Kaervek the merciless punisher deck.
Voltron (which I considered this deck to be) can be very stifling at larger tables, even if you have the best cards. I have no plans to use Kaalia as anything but this kind of deck either due to flavor. I'll probably end up building a bruna, light of alabaster or sigarda, host of herons deck next for my voltron style deck. Sigarda's hexproof, anti sac, and the fact that the deck doesn't need to be built so tightly around her is a night and day change from kaalia, while bruna's control colors and ability gives a unique twist to voltron.

Steel Sabotage'ng Orbs of Mellowness since 2011.
Cuz R is the best color, ever! Duh! LOL
What's the same:
Aggro/speed - ramp, haste, a/d/d's
Control - wipes, spot removal
Fuel - tutors, draw
Reanimate - reanimate, animate dead, necromancy. Kind of straggling at this point honestly.
What's gone:
Infinite combos - worldgorger is gone, along with sword of feast and famine + aggravated assault. These kind of wins were not fun to me, and felt out of place in an aggro style deck. I want to win with a fight.
Beatdown - Gratuitous violence, true conviction, savage beating, waves of aggression. As my meta has evolved, these are not game winners in this deck, and rarely enough to do much at all. This was a long time coming.
And of course... what's new!
Discard - mind twist, identity crisis, castigate. These more or less replaced the beatdown section. Now this deck is leaning more towards control, and can really shut people down at a small table.
