MTG Salvation

This deck is around getting Creatures in the graveyard as quickly as possible with cards such as Buried Alive and Zombie Infestation. This deck is mainly based around Green and Black and only is about 3 white cards in the Deck.



Combos because everyone loves combos!
Buried Alive for Shriekmaw + Karador = Unhappy Oppenents
Feed the Pack+Ghoultree = Lots of Wolves
Greel, Magenta, and Zombie Infestation = Cards in your graveyard
Karador and Abyssal Gatekeeper = Gravepact

You need a Mortivore or a Lhurgoyf. Also, Grave Pact combos really well with Shriekmaw.
This deck looks like it could get insane once it starts rolling, but I don't really know.

I'd say take out the random guys that just block and beat (i.e. Festerhide Boar, Typhoid Rats, etc.) in favor of creatures with abilities that answer things or relevant ETB effects. Getting more value from your creatures than just blocking and attacking is key in EDH. Also, unearth, although a totally awsome ability in other decks, makes Karador sad because they are only in the yard once to cheapen him/be reused. Qasali Pridemage, Acidic Slime, Shreikmaw, Bone Shredder, etc. are Karador's best friends because they just kill all the things you want when they get up to play. Just some thoughts to ponder. Thanks for all the help. If I could find a way to get rid peoples graveyards I could add Twilights's Call or Living Death. I might want to take out Doom Blade and add Chill to the Bone because nobody at my playgroup plays snowcreatures. Thypoid Rats is in here because of Skulltap but I can take it out. I saw a pretty sweet combo with Butcher of Malakir and Gravepact so I might want to add that. Please continue to help. If only Karador ability said Karador and Creatures in your graveyard costs 1 less for each creature card in your graveyard.

Living End also makes for a potentially good addition. You may want to slot in a Bonehoard and an Iname, Death Aspect, as they combo really well with each other. However, if you do throw the Iname, Death Aspect in, you may want a minor spirit tribal. I mentioned Shriekmaw working well with Karador, Ghost Chieftan and Grave Pact, but really any creature with Evoke works well with Karador, Ghost Chieftan and Grave Pact. For graveyard hate, throw in Bojuka Bog and/or Relic of Progenitus.

NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Relic of Progenitus only goes in decks that don't care about their own graveyard. The Bog is a very good suggestion, though. I run it in every black deck I have at the moment. For other grave hate check out Nihil Spellbomb, Loaming Shaman(not permenant but combos with Necromancy to save your own yard as well), Tormod's Crypt, etc.

I forgot that Relic of Progenitus exiles all cards from all graveyards, good catch.

Do you think a Sheoldred would be nice in here if I ever got one I have 3 of them Jin, Umbrask, and Vorneclex should I play with Vorneclex as well. Please continue to Tell whats good and whats not.

I don't personally think Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger is necessary, but he could definitely effect how the game plays out until he's destoyed or removed some other way. With that being said, you may want to add him. To me he would just function as a utility creature in this deck.
Sheoldred, Whispering One would be nice addition. Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite might also provide some real assistance, but I understand that she is kinda expensive.

-You could add a Thought Gorger, as it is a sufficient beater and it has the potential to throw some creatures into your graveyard.
-Anurid Brushhopper can throw some creatures in your graveyard if you exile it in order to save it (It also has an awesome creature type: "Frog Beast!").
-Anvil of Bogardan gives you (and all other players) an unlimited hand size, but it allows you to discard a card every turn. Just make sure you discard a creature.
-I started to say you could add Balance, but then I remembered it is band in EDH. You could use Restore Balance, it is really the same card except for the fact that you have to Suspend it.
-Bog Witch is Dark Ritual on a stick. You could use him to discard a creature and add triple B to your mana pool.
-Depending on the situation, Cabal Conditioning could help you and absolutely tear up your opponents.
-If you are alright with enchantments, you could use Casting of Bones. If you put it on something you are going to sacrifice or is going to die in combat easy, you could end up with a net increase of cards, and a creature in your graveyard.

I'll try to think of some more suggestions.

In my opinion, Vorinclex is pretty meh. However, this is coming from someone who has seen people float mana in response to him, let him resolve, then blow him up literally every time he's been played. If you want to play him and can keep him alive, run him.

Sheoldred is the nuts in my build so I'd assume she could be with yours. There is no end to the amazing she brings. Although, this comes from someone who's opponents used their spot removal on Vorinclex's and such.

On graveyard filling, I use Hermit Druid(although I only run about 9 basics; some people who combo kill with him run 0-1), Life from the Loam (if you have the funds; Aggro loam in Modern has aldready affected the price a bit so I'd jump if you can afford it), Buried Alive, Entomb (way expensive, sorry for the non-budget suggestions), Fauna Shaman, Survival of the Fittest. Some people also run more dredge like Golgari Grave-Troll, Stinkweed Imp, etc.

Thanks, I have been looking for a Fauna Shaman. I used your Decklist as a help as well. Nim Deathmantle will be helpful for when I destroy other creatures. In my Playgroup we dislike the effects that Vorinclex brings to us, But don't we hate all abilities the Preators have when it is directed at us. Dredge would be nice but one of my Friends Damia deck is based on graveyard matters and Dredge is crazy in it. I might should buy the Graveborn deck so I could benefit from that such as Blazing Archon, Terrasion, and the great reaimate cards.

Glad I could help in some way. Graveborn did have some juicy vitles so I suggest it if you have the funds. I literally bought it just for the Entomb and came away with a foily Terastodon and Animate Dead's that have Sun Titan on them. Good buy.

Yeah, I bought Graveborn and absolutely loved the product! Its components have sice been gobbled up by my EDH decks. Hahaha!

Alright so when I get some money I will buy a Graveborn, the deck itself is nice from what I've seen. I will use the Terastodon and Animate Dead, put Crosis in my Scion deck and will put a Fauna Shaman and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger to mess people up. Thanks for the Help.

I like the Angel Tribal theme to it, but I don't want to go with it. I might Add the Myojins of these colors, Saffi will be cool to get stuff back. Baneslayer Angel should be included in this deck. Imo you don't need any cards that dump creatures from your hand or library in the GY (except for Buried Alive and Entomb). I can also recommend Birthing Pod.
Also I'd try to run as little creatures as possible that don't give you some kind of effect when entering or leaving the battlefield and also try to get your creature count as high as possible!

Thanks Volango I need to add Birthing Pod. I might add a Imp's Mischief to the deck. Thanks for letting me look at your deck. I run those cards that dumps from my hand or library in the GY to get alot of creatures really quickly.
