So I finally decided to get this deck posted online. I've been using this as a sort of Control deck that tries to keep the board small if possible and then get in with Horobi for General Damage or slowly whittle away my foes.
The main goal of the deck is to survive towards the end, so Horobi usually doesn't hit play until I've built up a bit. By that time, as per his effect, he drastically changes the way the game can play out.
There are some standard cards within this deck to abuse Horobi's Effect, such as Touch of Darkness and Hex Parasite, but I've also gone with a few indestructible creatures and Eldrazi Monument to turn things one sided in my favor. Lots of sacrifice effects should keep my foes in check, though I've noticed some issues against token decks.
Any suggestions are welcome as this list always likes to change.
Changelog:
7/7/12 - Did a little revamp and switched out some creatures for a bit more removal and support cards. Flowed better in the few games I've played with it.
How often are you able to actually kill with general damage? seems like it'd be pretty difficult. I think a little more fat would be great...Grave Titan and/or Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief are game-enders in and of themselves.

Currently the Tappers act as additional means for targeting without normally needing that much mana and can be used politically as well in case. If I were to cut they would definitely be up for it, but again still testing some.
I'm not sold on Dauthi though as it feels lackluster for an enchant in some ways, sure it can read BB: kill target creature, but otherwise it just sits there since most my creatures won't benefit from it without horobi.
Slaught Pact is acting as back-up removal for now, sure there are some better things, but I like to use a lot of mana on turn if need be so the free aspect is nice. This will probably go for something like Murder when it comes out fully.
I actually mostly kill with Horobi, the point of the deck is more of a control/war of attrition style. Try to maintain the upper hand in advantage and slowly whittle them away. Plus once you get Nim Deathmantle/Gauntlet of Power/Eldrazi Monument going, he starts to get meaner. Plus, I've noticed some very lacking single target effects as of late in games, so he actually lives decently enough.
I may include some other creatures to help cause threats, but currently the build mostly focuses on getting into the red with Horrobi once I have field control.
Updated Changelog: Took a few creatures out for now for some removal and a few other cards. I might shift to less creatures, but want to maintain a small board presence overall. Tokens can still give me some issues, but I've been able to handle them little bits at a time.
Friend of mine plays a pretty hilarious Horobi deck.
Cauldron of Souls + Horobi = t: destroy any number of target creatures. It's like touch of darkness only reusable and with a relevant ability if horobi isn't around.
Also, Urborg (legends one) and Shizo are the nut with Horobi.
Erratic Portal is a colorless crystal shard which also becomes death on a stick with Horobi

Cauldron of Souls kill seems pretty sweet actually, or at least really funny if nothing else. I also like turning Erratic Portal into destroy target creature.
So, what's this deck's plan going up against decks that are mostly creatureless?

I think Dauthi Embrace would be a nice upgrade....reusable, no summoning sickness, harder to kill, and can function offensively when the need arises.
Why Slaughter Pact?

Some mono-black stables I see missing include Nirkana Revenant , Midnight Banshee, Mutilate, Corrupt, Korlash, Liliana of the Dark Realms etc.
