Yeah I know after the first attack He's just a fat demon blocker. that part I'm on the fence about.
If you're worried about that, Oni of Wild Places is also in the Kaalia precon even, and he offers you an outlet to get him back to your hand to do it again. The only reason I suggest Oni is because he's still 6 power with haste, with a relevant creature type(demon).
I play it, and I <3 my Kaalia deck so much. I actually took a 6 man game last Thursday, it was pretty clutch. had four cards left in my library, but I kept it safe with Volrath's Stronghold stacking a dude on top. So late I was able to cast Austere Command(artifacts & enchantments), Armageddon, & Crucible of Worlds, with two black floating to replay stronghold and keep myself afloat(he was Hanna, Ship's Navigator group hug enchantress).
Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni could also be a lot of fun in this list. While he... she??? It isnt a trigger off of Kaalia but you can use it on one of your targets that has a comes into play trigger to bounce it back and re-trigger it off of kaalia quite nicely. Plus it rezes things quite nicely. Just some food for thought.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
I've never liked it, I find it to lose a lot of tempo if whatever early play you busted for is quickly destroyed or countered. If it offered a little bit more for the restriction it put down, then sure. I barely like Ancient Tomb half of the time, but I think it's better than the former.

Since you're already putting in INN cards like the awesome Morbid Demon, how about Phyrexian Arena Demon(Bloodgift Demon) and Wrath Dragon(Balefire Dragon)? I know mine personally just got those as strict upgrades of my dudes(Havoc Demon ---> Morbid Guy, Demonic Hordes ---> Arena Guy, and Mordant Dragon ---> Wrath Dragon.
Just something to think about, as I feel IMO, they should be auto-includes for Kaalia.

I've studied them all, and have play tested most. The only one I actually like at all is Reaper from the Abyss, but even he is sketchy and adding him is debatable. His effect can sometimes backfire, and I think the thing I love most about him is his art.
Balefire Dragon- In this deck, I feel I run enough control and creature removal so it was never even considered. Seven mana had better be a potential game winner on its own, and I didn't see that here. His effect is undoubtedly awesome, but too redundant in my deck on top of the plethora of removal I already run.
Bloodgift Demon- It's too easy to be blown up to have his effect show some true value. If your meta isn't cutthroat like mine he can be fantastic, but creatures are lucky to stay out for longer than a turn without some forms of protection in my playgroup. Nice CMC, but his effect was lackluster when compared to the other creature effects this deck holds.

Didn't think about that guy. Good looking out now I just got to find room for him.
I really can't decide if I love Night Dealings or consider it a dead draw. Its effect is amazing in a Kaalia deck, but when I start to utilize it I normally feel that I already have advantage, and most of the time wish it was any other tutor card when it sits in my hand.

One card that I like for Kaalia which someone suggested to me is Erratic Portal. It's a fantastic card for A. Abusing ETB effects repeatedly B. Letting your creatures dodge removal and C. Punishing any opponent who taps out.
I'll personally be giving the Bloodgift Demon a try if nothing else. The cmc 5 is the big appeal in him. The Reaper of the Abyss is awesome, but I removed Gravepact from the deck due to it costing BBB and I have a strict policy of not including angels, demons and dragons that I'll have a difficult time to hard-cast. I'm sure he'll excel in other Kaalia decks though, but I'd rather play it in some control deck the likes of Lyzolda, Savra or Teysa.
Balefire Dragon, on the other hand, is what excites me here. A repeatable sweeper, more or less. However, as it is now, it'd be competing against Dragon Mage for the spot.
I'll reserve judgment until I've seen all the goodness that Innistrad has to offer.
You're my favorite Kaalia player Tristan. =) I was doing some play testing with all three yesterday actually (and the new angel too), and my opinions on them changed quite a bit. I also began to feel the same way about CMC issues with some cards, and am working on that now as well. Once I get some more testing done against various match ups I'll post my results for all to see.=)

Black is chock full of tutors. Demonic, Vampiric, diabolic, and demonic just to name a few. Hell, youn could even run gamble.
@Beanman- He's referring to the specific package that Imperial Recruiter comes with, I think.
@DalkonCledwin- What I did was proxy Imperial Recruiter. Proxies are generally tournament legal, especially in cases like this where no one would want to spend hundreds of dollars on a single card. If card costs above $50, I heavily consider either not running it or if it's that amazing make a proxy.

I personally prefer not to run Proxies if I can help it, its just one of my personal preferences. And yes, I was kind of referring to the specific package that comes along with the Imperial Recruiter.

If you have to choose, run Land Tax over Weathered Wayfarer... just helps you get through the land in your deck as well as mana ramp. Now there's a card to proxy, unless you have the DCI promo. The original art is ridiculous.

This deck would get torn apart at my LGS. It's too slow, too costly, and if they control your kaalia you sit and do almost nothing.
I dont mind people posting deck lists, but dont label it uber and competitive if it isn't.
You're another player who saw Kaalia and then stuffed a deck full of as many fat uncastable Demons/Dragons/Angels as possible, assuming that lightning greaves would be enough to ensure your victory. Uber competitive? Any card preventing you from playing Kaalia or activating her ability would completely shut down your deck alone, then you have the hordes of removal and tucking to worry about. You have almost no protection, you have zero early game, and probably pray to ramp enough mana mid-game to actually cast something.
Being very new to EDH, I was in the same boat not too long ago and thanks to the discussions on this thread the deck was overhauled and refined. I recommend reading through the entire thread and looking at all of the help that I was offered, then utilizing it yourself.

Probably because it costs ten with a bad ability and a huge upkeep cost. Put in an additional combat phase card or true conviction for half of the mana and buff all of your guys instead.
You can't ignore the fact that you will have to hard cast creatures in unless your game is going perfectly.
FYI I just picked up a necropotence and used it for the first time, and WOW what a game changer! With serra ascendant, baneslayer angel, and true conviction life hasn't been a problem yet. I was able to draw 30 cards into my hand to look for an answer when it was just me vs another player and I was down by a lot (poison damage). I lost it due to a bad decision the turn before, but the shear power of this card surprised me.

Exactly. Flying, trample and double strike are amazing, but not for 10 mana and a big upkeep cost like that. If you are able to spend mana on things like that, then something like a plaguewind would be better, which is usually considered less than ideal as it is. You can even just activate hellkite charger's ability for less and get similar results without taking up a 10 spot in your deck.

It was removed for quite a long time until recently, and it has genuinely been a shining star in this deck thus far. If youre smart, you simply exile the permanents that wouldnt be devastating if they came back. Enchantments and artifacts are the primary targets, maybe a utility creature here and there but I save spot removal for the true threats. Yesterday I actually used him to exile two of my own permanents right before I cast a Cataclysm, and it resulted in an easy win after that.

Your deck doesn't have as many targets for it as mine does, but it's still pretty amazing with Angel of Despair, Karmic Guide, Rune-Scarred Demon, Stoneforge Mystic / Stonehewer Giant and Imperial Recruiter. And best of all, it continously resets Rakdos so you can keep cheat-attacking with him every turn.
