This deck can get pretty degenerate and unfun, but Niv-Mizzet is one of my favorite cards of all time so I will always keep this deck in tact. I will never play Ophidian Eye or Curiosity or Mind Over Matter; when I first started playing EDH this was my first deck and I played those combo pieces and after pulling it off once I never wanted to do it again.
Typically the deck wins by getting out Niv or Psychosis Crawler and casting some sort of Wheel effect and copying it. My favorite way to win though is with Cerebral Vortex, Sudden Impact or Molten Psyche (with Metalcraft).
Check out my Niv-Mizzet deck in my sig for some other good suggestions. My deck works out really well and can kill the whole table in one turn if I have Psychosis Crawler and Niv out.
