So with all of Innistrad's goodies, I want to take another crack at Thraximundar.
Due to the vague way I want it build, don't suggest non-zombie creatures (Grave Titan is the only possible exception). I have both mono blue tuck spells, and then I only want a few more good cheap ones. Countering just isn't my thing, I guess. Grixis is Black-based, so I want the deck to be Black-based. I also want Red and Blue to be somewhat balanced in what they bring to the deck.
I have and really enjoy playing a zombie tribal edh with Glissa at the helm (I just don't have the decklist posted). The colors don't translate, but some of the tribal will.
Zom tribal is a lot of fun and with all the new UB stuff in Innistrad, I think it's going to get a nice power boost, especially with Thrax at the helm.
I suggest low equipment artifact and add more tutor or discard enemy hand (like Myojin of the night).
I'm not following you on the equipment part. My only Demonic Tutor is in Kaalia, the other two are the only other tutors I have. I probably should add in more draw.
I was thinking about the Hondens, from Kamigawa. Three damage, someone discards three and I draw three seems pretty sweet.
I might point out that Redirect costs less than Shunt at the very least (plus if it allows multiple targets Redirect works much much better). If you don't mind paying the extra mana you might as well upgrade it to Wild Ricochet. If you combat lots of blue decks you might even consider Ricochet Trap as it can redirect for the low cost of R assuming you are looking at a counterspell or extra turn effect.
I also notice that you have relatively few tutors considering you seem to be relying on Thrax to do most of your dirty work. You might add a few more tutors for him just in the offcase of getting tucked.
Diabolic Intent might also be a fun option. Thrax loves him some sacrifice. Plus its super cheap to pick up in comparison to other black tutors for its mana cost.
EDIT: ... on second thought... you dont have enough creatures for it

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
Just sort of a thought... you have a lot of redirect effects but it is sort of likely that you wont have much free mana avalible when casting thrax due to his high cost. You might instead of redirecting use creature rez to make up for it. If someone drops a wrath for instance a redirect wont be able to help you, on the other hand a rez spell will let you pick him up out of the graveyard without paying his extra tax and come roaring back attacking.
Just a thought though.
Also a creature ability like Duplicant would still take him out as most of the redirects do not help with abilities. Thrax can get expensive real fast due to this.

I would consider Noxious Ghoul, Corpse Harvester, Withered Wretch, Helldozer, and Anathemancer. All these cards I suggested are utility cards really. Corpse Harvester will allow you to search for the others, Wretch is there to remove stuff from the grave, Helldozer does a number on Maze and other annoying non basics, and Anathemancer helps you to punish people playing with mostly non basics.
ISBPathfinder: That I do. But I mean, is Swerve really an ok card to run in this format? Lol. I'll look at reanimation, though I'm pretty sure I don't have any "fantastic" spells for that. -> Although, I'm already looking to pick up Unholy Grotto and possibly Lord of the Undead.
Psychomagus: Ghoul is on my want list already, maybe on the Harvester once I get the list in better shape, can trade for Wretch, talked about Helldozer with Blackjack, friends don't really (have the money for) too many non-basics.
You have both tucking counterspells, but Spin Into Myth and possibly Proteus Staff are good options for other tuck effects. Spin certainly seems preferable to Wrecking Ball.

Added Stitch Together and Rise from the Grave. Couple pieces of reanimation, like ISBPathfinder recommended. Card count might be off by 1 or 2, not sure.
Well, this deck is still very much being thought out.
I'm not liking how the Baron is ~$5 a pop. And I'm going more for creature kill that forces sacrifice, for Thrax ya know. I'll keep those two in mind, though.
So the Ajani vs Bolas version of Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker is only about $8. When I have some money to spend on this deck, I think I'll be picking up a copy :evillol:.
Bolas planeswalker is really powerful I would strongly reccomend doing so. It sort of makes me sad though because I have an original Bolas planeswalker still original art is nice.

Grimoire of the Dead. *****es. This also puts the real life list at 100, so I can at least test it out and see what needs to go and what needs to go in.
EDIT 2: Also, if I'm not being stupid, Grimoire + Noxious Ghoul.
Card tags are your friend. Most parts of the forum have a stickied explanation.
Welp, Station just seems really dinky. "Yay 1...damage?..." I assume it goes infinite, but real men and women don't go infinite :p. In all seriousness, does anyone have experience with Blasting Station?
Dropped Wrecking Ball and Unnerve for Army and Unbreathing Horde, the other two made it in over other stuff. Will need to go through the real life deck and the posted list to fix inconsistencies.
Ghave played Sorin, hit me with the + ability. So I play Word of Seizing on my turn, set Ghave to 10 .I played Grave Titan purely off of Slagheap B, but it got Death Mutationed. Ghave's Sigil Captain boosted the saprolings to 3/3. So I untap, and play the Insurrection I had been holding for a few turns. I probably hit him for 30+.

Gempalm Polluter is great! With Unholy Grotto and Lord of the Undead, I've cycled people to their deaths.
And yes on Noxious Ghoul. He's been very good for me.
I also love Helldozer, but with 3 colors you may have more trouble meeting the costs enough to make him worthwhile.
Of course, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth is required. With it, Zombie Master, another definite inclusion, makes Thrax or any of your zoms unblockable.
Some others I'm fond of:
Undead Warchief
Nameless Inversion - Usually I wouldn't like it, but Lord of the Undead and Unholy Grotto can both recycle it.
Geth, Lord of the Vault
Stromgald Crusader
Cemetery Reaper - Good pump, tokens and grave hate.
Death Baron - Not huge, but always a consideration.
I see you already have Call to the Grave and Twisted Abomination listed.
Zom tribal is a lot of fun and with all the new UB stuff in Innistrad, I think it's going to get a nice power boost, especially with Thrax at the helm.

Grimgrin: Dead Reckoning
Helldozer would be a pain to activate, methinks. If I wasn't in Grixis/tricolor, I guess.
Urborg and Master are pricy for me right now, and don't sound like they're up my alley anyway :/.
Thanks for the input, Blackjack.

Anything else from the AvsNB decks that could possibly go in here? I might be splitting it with a buddy.

This was a slow start, I Dissipated Jade Mage just to do something, and I was charging up Molten Slagheap on various turns. I had played Sunken Hopes, but something happened to it, Oblivion Ring maybe.
