I have a few EDH decks, and I recently got myself a copy of Cabal Coffers but none of my decks can really utilize it. So, I've decided to make myself a mono Black deck. I love tribal decks, so I'm going to try and throw together a deck ^^.
Note I've never even made a black heavy deck before (Always been a splash in any of my decks: Doran, Kresh, and The Mimeoplasm). So I will more than likely need help switching out cards for better ones.
With Anawon, Grave Pact, and the Butcher of Malakir in the mix, have you thought about a token engine/sac outlet approach to produce fodder for spells like Braids, Cabal Minion, Smokestack, and Attrition?
I actually have an Attrition sitting around somewhere, and was thinking about putting that in, but didn't think of token generators. At first I was going to use Volrath's Laboratory to make Vampires, but it's activation cost is a bit more than what I was looking for. Then I remembered Myr Turbine which is a free token generator, whenever I need it. Seems like I'll put that in here somewhere, along with Attrition and possibly Braids.
The spot removal in this deck feels a little too conditional.
Here's some suggestions to make them more optimal.
-Go For the Throat / +Rend Flesh
-Feast of Blood / +Eyeblight's Ending
-Dead Ringers / + Ashes to Ashes
Lastly, I see you have Oblivion Stone in the build which I'm assuming is usually a game changer for you. Black's bane is it's inability to deal with artifacts and enchantments. Here's a few more options: Nevinyrral's Disk, Steel Hellkite, Ratchet Bomb.
Made the switches with spot removal, never knew those existed actually (Save Eyeblights Ending), thanks ^^.
I put in Reassembling Skeleton and Fallen Angel, and I also added a few more tutors (One's a Transmute, but for 5, which there's a few cards in there I can see needing at some point in time, like, say, Conspiracy when I'm intending to drop Anowon).
Demonic Collusion is now by far my favorite Tutor. There's nothing like discarding one of the 4 swamps in your hand along with Big Game Hunter for the buyback and paying for his madness cost. I think the last game I played I tutored like 6 times with that alone. Very helpful.
This deck can be explosive, and I mean REALLY explosive. I went from being the underdog all game to winning in 2 turns. I was at 6 life and 3 creatures. They were at 42 life and 2 creatures. Two turns later I have 2 Health and 13 creatures, swinging for 70+damage, 52 of which going through to win.
There's two things this deck is really hurting for. Speed and Lightning Greaves. It sucks to get Baron Sengir up to a 17/17, just to have him destroyed because he didn't have shroud. It's also way too slow. It gets explosive, but it doesn't really explode until I'm at least 3/4 dead by my own draw, so I need to speed it up so I have a longer clock once this gets going.
Also, would it be good to put Bone Splinters in in place of Rend Flesh? It's even less narrow and cheaper than Rend Flesh, and it's not all that hard to get sac fodder on the field for me.
I run a big mana black with Drana in charge, you might have a look in my sig.
I like the evergreen creatures as pact/butcher triggers, but they also make Skullclamp the best draw engine in the game.
I still like Rend Flesh better than Bone Splinters. Instant as opposed to sorcery, and RF is still less conditional as there will be plenty of times you don't want/can't sac, and you don't run into too many spirit threats.
Necrotic Ooze is another fun way to take advantage of all those activated abilities once the creature gets killed.
Nether Traitor is another great evergreen, and with Lashwrithe or Nightmare Lash, which should really be in, he becomes a nearly unblockable wincon beater.
To be a little faster, Sol Ring, Wayfarer's Bauble, and Basalt Monolith. Monolith also infimana combos with Rings to kill the table with Exsang/Profane or sweep and infi-pump Drana (full explaination in my Drana deck post).
I might need to throw Expedition map in here... I've only ever had Urborg or Coffers out, never both -_-". I've never seen Nether Traitor before, I might have to throw him in here.
I did have Lashwrithe in here, but I pulled it in favor of Thousand-Year Elixir. I'll play a few games with them swapped before I put it back in.
I have the mana to fully utilize Yawgmoth's Will, I might actually put it in here, and I completely forgot about Petrified field... I'll try that one out.
And I'll also try Necrotic Ooze out, forgot he existed too ^^".
Note I've never even made a black heavy deck before (Always been a splash in any of my decks: Doran, Kresh, and The Mimeoplasm). So I will more than likely need help switching out cards for better ones.

Gatekeeper and Nighthawk seem sort of meh here.
Reassembling Skeleton & Bloodghast are great recursion fuel for a sac/attrition engine.
As for sac outlets, I would recommend:
Fallen Angel for evasion beats,
Dimir House Guard to double as a tutor for Grave Pact,
Ashnod's Altar to ramp some colorless mana
Sadistic Hypnotist to hate on your opponent's mitt
Gate to Phyrexia or Phyrexian Tribute to crush junk.
The spot removal in this deck feels a little too conditional.
Here's some suggestions to make them more optimal.
-Go For the Throat / +Rend Flesh
-Feast of Blood / +Eyeblight's Ending

I decided Rings of Brighthearth and Thousand-Year Elixir would be good additions since I have creatures with really nice t abilities. Such as being able to exile 4 creatures with Shauku, Endbringer for 5

Expedition Map to fetch Coffers/Urborg.
Opponents will quickly catch on to the power of Coffers and kill it on sight. We have several ways to get it back:
Yawgmoth's Will
Petrified Field
Yawgmoth's Will
and I wouldn't dream of running big black without Exsanguinate and Profane Command (and Sorin).
To be a little faster, Sol Ring, Wayfarer's Bauble, and Basalt Monolith. Monolith also infimana combos with Rings to kill the table with Exsang/Profane or sweep and infi-pump Drana (full explaination in my Drana deck post).
