I have a Korlash deck that I enjoy playing quite a bit. One of the best pieces of advice I can give you is to drop the zombie theme, as most of the creatures you have included are subpar. Focus on good black creatures, regardless of type. Things like Dread, Myojin of Night's Reach, Puppeteer Clique, Reiver Demon, and Visara the Dreadful, which are staples for mono black EDH.
keep it zombie tribal. they are very synergistic and it adds the element of fun that EDH is known for. I would put in Balthor as the general because for 4+3, 6+3, 8+3 etc... mana every time you recast him from the general zone, you have a recurring mass recursion and with a Grave Pact out and a sacrifice outlet like Phyrexian Ghoul, you can start controlling who gets what out.
Check out my list in the sig at the bottom for more ideas, feel free to ask me questions by pm or whatever.
Asking out a girl is like trying to cast a first turn Necropotence. Sometimes the other player will have the Force of Will to say no. You shouldn't let that stop you from trying it.
You also seem a little land light. I would probably get in 2 or 3 more swamps. Pulse of the Dross and maybe Spirit of the Night are candidates for removal. Just some ideas.

Great suggestions!
@Arch: This is meant to be a zombie themed deck, and if I lost that tribal theme it wouldn't be one any more. The type of deck you are suggesting could be more powerful, but my deck is for casual edh, so it doesn't have to be the best. Thanks for the suggestions anyways!
@Ohms: I'll look into that. I had Balthor as my general once but replaced him with Korlash since Balthor doesn't really have much of a board presence, plus I had trouble filling up my graveyard enough creatures. Balthor also can help the opponent, but does lean more towards my favor since it will always help me and only sometimes help an opponent, unlike most mass reanimation which just brings back everything. Also, what is your opinion on Khabal Ghoul? I myself think he is awesome and would be a great addition to the deck.

The Ghoul doesn't really work with how I mean this deck to work. Korlash is alright, but he can be chump blocked all day and removed quite easily. He's kinda vanilla for a general IMO. I like generals that can do something more than just be a beater. Balthor on the other hand can set up so much buffoonery and hilarity. Sure, he might benefit your opponents, but I've put in measures to prevent that, like Withered Wretch, or Plague Wind. Also, I can easily bring in 6-8 creatures with the ability (20+ with Morality Shift), whereas my opponents might only get a few out, and with say, Grave Pact out, I can start cutting his stuff back down to size by sacrificing creatures to Carrion Feeder (and/or the functional multiples I have of him). I can also use Lim-Dûl the Necromancer and Rise from the Grave to further prevent opponent benefits from my general, and that's only if I'm playing against red or black at all. I mean, there's also Call to the Grave, Noxious Ghoul and so on and so forth. Otherwise, I'm not really that worried about that. The deck is quite consistent because a bulk of the cards fulfill the same goals and there's tons of tutors and draw.

Np, I just didn't know if you were set on the Zombie theme or not
With that being said I see no Graveborn Muse. I'd add it in; with 40 life to play around with it'll take a while to kill you off, even if you have a decent zombie army. And think of adding in Tendrils of Corruption; it's too good not to use in mono black.

"This thing is 82% Hawaiian and I've got all afternoon."
@ Nocebo: Yes, I really should add Volrath's Stronghold. I had been meaning to get one but forgot, now that you've reminded me I will be sure to pick one up. I also really like the flavor I was able to achieve with this deck while still making it good.
@ LifesWeb: Urza's incubator is pretty good. I think I'll give it a try. Most of my zombies are pretty cheap to play and require little to no colorless mana to play, but there's enough that the incubator may still be worth it.
I play Balthor as my primary General right now. He's great to take out for a couple games, and then people start dedicating the graveyard hate, and you're basically cold. So it's nice to have another choice when that happens. Here's one of my more recent lists:

That's why this deck must run Targeted discard, to protect itself against hate, if the hate is intense, we must run 8-of.

@Tarscco: Tombstone Stairwell and Sword of Light and Shadow, I'll have to give those a try. Grave Defiler might work as well, especially if I decide to add Conspiracy. You are right about me needing a way to destroy enchantments, I think I will probably add Oblivion Stone. Pulse of the Dross is my only discard effect besides Liliana Vess so it can go and I can probably replace Spirit of the Night with something bigger.
