MTG Salvation

Jhoira was my first General.
I learned a lot making the deck and its guaranteed to win everytime, 90% of the time.
But over the past couple of months I have stopped playing it altogether. At first I thought it was because I was going nuts making new EDH decks, but I've been settled down for a few months now, only lightly tweaking here and there.

The real reason is...
its not fun.
Every game I wait for a "Boom" sorcery in hand. Wait until I have 5-7 mana. play Jhoira and suspend a win con. Two turns later cast the Boom. Its always the same. Everyone struggles to rebuild. I struggle to kill everyone before they can. All the while my playgroup is getting grumpy. I've been told verbatim "Whenever I see Jhoira I'm going straight for you".
Its tough holding back Uril, Rafiq and the Reaper King.

I've now removed:

• Devastation
  
• Obliterate
  
• Jokulhaups
  
• Apocalypse
  
• Decree of Annihilation
  
• Boom/Bust

Here is my friendly new list.
In goldfishing its been fun and I can still do some crazy stuff. I don't know if I should keep it though.
Lets see if this is still worthwhile in the next few weeks.

I've played this a few times now and its been working great. Its nice to have mana once a threat is on the board, as opposed to trying to kill people before they can rebuild.
Its been fun and surprisingly good.

Something i would consider is Braid of fire it has amazing synergy with jhoira, paradox haze and rift elemental a personal favorite in my jhoira edh is dropping a rift elemental turn one and then braid of fire on turn two jhoira turn three and then suspending something during your upkeep of turn 4 followed by spending your mana how you want (suspending something else or speeding up what you suspended)

That is a good idea. I've seen Braid of Fire be incredible with red Akroma and Ashling.
What to take out though....

Probably Worn Powerstone.
