Here's the Erayo deck I have been working on. It's designed for multi-player, but not for setting up an early lock. Eventually, you seek for an optimal turn and get the Erayo/Arcane Laboratory lock. you survive in the interim with disruption and theft. To me, this is the ultimate blue deck. It can be inherently unfair (that's why you play blue, right?), and then ultimately you lock out your opponents. Most games end way before you actually kill your opponents, which is the way I like to win - force them to concede!
The deck is 5-0 in large games (5+ players). The only games it has lost is when we were playing with the Planechase cards and there were a couple flips that either wiped the board or gave someone a huge advantage (five 5/5 flying dragons, anyone?).
It's a fun deck and interesting to play. If you have any suggestions, please let me know what to add and what to take out.
Hmm not bad... Definately can use a little work... You seem kinda slow in your first few turn plays. I might want to work on that cause there are a few cards that make it really hard for Mono-Blue decks to recover... In the Mirror against Generals like Venser youll likely get put in a Venser/Stasis lock before you get to go off. If he gets a Candelabra and a Mishra's Helix on you youre done. Even an Icy Manipulator could be bad for you too. Erayo is a bastard of a general but as my good friend Jenkins says... Chris, if you build a deck for EDH you need to build a deck you feel guilty playing or its not good enough. I think you really need to focus on the Mirror as that would be your worst match up. You have a few loopholes that if you played another Mono Blue Control deck you might lose a counter battle or might not be able to resolve a crucial spell.
