Bit conundrum when he some enchantment protection against my gen damage and Maze of Ith. Definitely need to reassess the situation. So far if I drew Treasure Hunt, I could've got a lot of lands plus Wasteland and revealing Brainstorm (after I concede, I check if I can turn things around).
1st turn Fastbond. Empty hand and down to 24 life with Temple of the False God, Simic Growth and 3 dual lands. Turn 2 no land but with Tamiyo
2nd game... Fastbond on turn one... 4 lands and down to 23. Treasure Hunt on that turn revealing Sylvan Scrying. Turn 2 he Abrupt Decay my Fastbond. Turn 3 I use Scying to search Temple of The Lost God... his turn 3 is 3 lands with 4 in hand. Topdecking until my 8th mana... 4th turn he drop his 4th land. My hand so far is Upheaval, Fallout and Krosan Grip. 5th turn, his 5th land. I managed to top deck GSZ and drop Titan. ET he putrefy my guy. He cast his Mime copying Primetime with a 2/1 or 2/3 something... I got MW cascading Tamiyo locking him since that's his only creature.
Got locked because of that annoying Winter Orb. He's down to 5 and I'm up to 23. Need that Krosan Grip. Luckily Tamiyo, the Moon Sage locked Gaea's Cradle even if Deserted Temple is out thus negating his high mana count per turn. I ended up having to use scapeshift to win.
Note: Scapeshift can help you if you locked yourself out from your opponent to deal damage.
Just tired. Sweep using Slagstorm on his Radha and Rubblebelt Raiders. Then drop 2 cmc Elves. He got Hellrider out the following turn and managed to swing me to 14 damage that turn. Wildfire when I'm down to 5... have to use loam to get back my mana but I got Char.
Game 2... got D/C but I'm on my 3rd on my 2nd turn with Time Manipulation and Thran Dynamo... and He dropped a Rootbound Crag and next turn probably Radha herself with Vengvine, 2 lands, Flame Kavu and Cliffrunner Behemoth (I watch the game replay). I would drop my 4th land and drop in Thran Dynamo... If nothing happens to that artifact (most basic scenario is dropping manland and possibly dropping Vengevine or Behemoth and swing me for 7 damage that turn), I could cast Temporal Master and then cast MW... best case scenario, he has 2/3 blockers and rely on the cascade.
Analysis Treause Hunt: it's a decent card. It enables me to draw my card[s] depending on what it'll reveal since it can be a turn 2 draw. Even if it reveal just one card, it'll helped me avoiding getting top decking some stuff Sylvan Scrying: It's an awesome card. It can search and land and with the help of Fastbond, it helped gaining momentum.
Verdict: I love keeping this card. It is a bit annoying at first since i use it to drop my Monolith and Kodama's Reach. I might put them back in the future because there are other much more effecient cards.
i would try mana reflection and selective memory as finisher.
mana reflection is jokes, "oh look, i float 16 mana, upheval, and cast malestrom wanderer, have fun :D". selective memory lets you choose what to cascade, which is huge. it's very risky though.
Yup. Doesn't matter if it's your 1st draw or the following turn. Combo with Life from the Loam is game over since you can use it twice per turn to take out those expensive lands using Wasteland. It creates tension to the less experienced players before they realized that I just need the 8th mana. Although emptying your hand is fulfilling and at the same time you have to rely on top deck. Sadly, I change my deck that I have to drop Sylvan Scrying which is an awesome 2cmc land search...
I'm still figuring out whether or not dropping Avenger which is essential to annoy Doran and edicts alike for Pyroclasm/Whipflare against dorks and Radha. My win count is getting better for Doran and Radha as of today without those sweepers.
Game 2: turn 1 Fastbond with 4 lands... my turn 2 is keeping slagstorm, time manipulation and destructive force with no land drop. Turn 4 he just attack with O viper. Mistake I have is that I didn't look for Boseiju since I have Slagstorm in hand.
Game 3: Turn 1 Ancestral Vision for both of us... Turn 4 is GSZ on Titan grabbing Anti counterspells lands. I use to Timewalk then grabbing more lands with Geist and Blightened Agent for blockers. Cast MW on my turn then cascade Slagstorm... he has no other choice but to take a bet and counter Slagstorm... before he realized that I cascade Frost Titan.
Game 4: He's stuck for 3 lands for a while. He got his 4th land and He drop Elspeth
Game 1: kept 1 land and brainstorm with other spells. He managed to cast GAAIV even though I Wasteland and Krosan Grip his Everflowing on turn 3. I've managed to Mortar him but he's armed with counterspells and stuff. He has enough mana to do crap on me.
Game 2: he cast Negate and Spell Pierce on my Ramp Spells. I cast Oath but he countered using Detention Sphere... then he Wasteland on my Hinterland Harbor which I Mystical Tutor to find Krosan Grip. End up with 3 lands and 4 cards in hand while he gained momentum again up to 5 lands and full hand. Now, I'm holding Witness, Grip, Time Manipulation, WIldfire and Mindslaver with 3 lands in tow.
Game 3... just got Coldsteel heart and 4 lands. I drop my land and use to cast Mindslaver for a counter bait... he Remand it. Turn 5 or so, GAAIV.
Bit annoying with permission decks like GAAIV... fourth turn is a hell and Slagstorm and Mizzium Mortars are strong enough to take him down
Change it because that game was the first time I actually have problem popping it. They suggested that I should drop it and add something with more finesse.
Game 1: Out ramp me and used Fastbond+Ad Nauseam on turn 4 and Demonic Tutor for.... Glacial Chasm... and drop lands like juice... dropped Valakut
Game 2: I use Beast Within to kill his turn 3 bounceland with Oath in play he responded with Enlightened Tutor for Fastbond. Oath Triggers and grab Inferno Titan and use pm to copy him killing his beast and 3 damage to his face. My turn deals 20 damage leading him down to 3. He Oath Bob and grabbing back Life from the Loam. Loam back Buried Ruin which later he brings back Horn of Greed and Glacial Chasm and starts comboing again.
With all those changes. People noticed that I don't have enough speed. Klaus managed to hammered his opinion while Fluxuate gave me some pointers because his version actually beat the exalted's Karrthus LD. version. I Winter Orb is new as it saw some nifty combo with rocks.
Countering my Mystical Tutor and and Lotus Bloom by Nature's Claim... and wasteland my Volcanic Island
turn 1 Wild Growth and turn 3 Thran Dynamo which he blow up using Nature's Claim. He got Rafiq out and dealt me 10 damage... I only have lands and Mindslaver.
Note: Definitely need to redo my game play against Rafiq.
Game 1: Out race me on turn 2 with Wasteland and Rishadan Port in tow. Didn't have enough red for Slagstorm. Winter Orb stops her tracks. Her Sphere of Resistance makes it hard for me to cast my rocks or ramps. So far, Null Rod annoys me. Put down Oath and he Krosan Grip me.
Game 2: Turn 1 Ancestral Vision and Turn 2 Guardian Idol. His turn 3 a land drop with previous turn Rofellos with Azusa.
Game 3: Made a mistake on not mulliganning Chrome Opal. But I do have Fastbod, Mirri's Guile, Wild Growth and 2 lands in it
Game 4: Turn 3 Azusa and Wasteland my turn 2 Tropical. I use his ET to use my turn 2 Scroll Rack and managed to snag 4 cards and 1 of them is Oath. He attacked me and sac his Azusa to avoid Oath. He then cast PT to get 2 new lands and sac it to avoid Oath via Greater Good. He cast Ulamog and destroying my Oath. I did some nifty tutor and stuff to get Metamorph and copying Ulamog but he sac it and I ended up with Brittle Effigy. I managed to cast MW cascading Inferno Titan and Tamiyo... he brittle Effigy my MW. He has enough lands to cast Emrakul.
Game 5: Turn 1 land and Lotus Bloom. His turn 1 is land. Turn 2 is another land but use Personal Tutor for Temp Mastery. His Turn 3 is Scavenging Ooze. My turn 3 is just extra turn. Turn 4 is 3rd land and Blood casting PT. GG he says...
Overall. I haven't draw enough rocks or speed to get a turn 4 MW. Fluxuate's design is almost identical to mine in terms on lands and big creatures. Difference is Winter Orb which totally abusing artifact rocks. Thanking him with his pov of my deck's problem. Although, I'll miss my removed cards to make space for rocks and etc.

good games last night. I conceded so quickly in game 5, because i mulled away null rod that hand, so when you turn 1 suspended lotus bloom i was a little upset, and i knew you were going to win the race after you laid turn 4 prime time.
Yeah. It's a close game IMO. Can't do anything on your turn 3 Azusa with Null Rod in tact. I didn't draw my rocks or spells in time and stuck with expensive spells.
How does everyone feel about Lion's Eye Diamond in this deck? I've been testing it a little and it seems pretty legit. Discarding a couple of cards for 3 extra mana seems worth it in my opinion. Getting MW out early is awesome.

It's tempting. I might replace Mox Opal with it. However, there are times that I've read and talked some bad reviews from him especially when you're going to discard some essential spells especially when you're stuck and down to 0 hand. Haven't tried it but ill test it out later today or tomorrow.
For you, how's your experience with it? Early turn I can see as an awesome card but later turn like as a cascade or mana screwed against essential matches knowing your opponent can counter 1-3 spells that very turn you cast MW (case in point, Talrand).
PS
On the other hand... They're only useful to MW itself... I don't have that much permanents that use it and I guess they're useful against Daze or Mana Leak.
Close-ish. Turn 1 is fetch and on his et BS. Turn 2 is Cold Steel Heart. Turn 3 is Personal Tutor for Temp Mastery, Ponder, Simic Signet and dropping land . He swing with SFM with SoFaF and discarding a land and he cast Detention Sphere on Signet. Turn 4 is Temporal Master. Turn 5 is Gilded Lotus and casting Slagstorm killing Llanowar Elves to lower his Gaea's Cradle Ramp. He cast Rafiq and hit me for 8. I drew Devastation Tide and bounce almost everything and enough mana to cast my rocks. Game ended when he cast Cephalid Constable, SFM for Lightning Greaves thus sealing the game.
I've managed to cast Cyclonic Rift on his turn 5 Kaalia as a response to his Swiftfoot Boots. Next turn, I've cast MW cascade Winter Orb (via Scroll Rack) and Worldly Tutor (which I didn't use it). Locking him because I have Frost Titan out thus locking his Orzhov Signet.
Sadly I only have 1 game per game that night. Bit busy all day.
Game 1: 4 lands and 1 bounce land with Tamiyo. He got a lot of stuff out by turn 4+. Dropping Forgemaster, Mindslaver, Thran Dynamo.
Game 2: I've managed to outrace him by tun 4/
Game 3: Made a lot of mistakes. He ended up with Mishra's Helix with rocks against my outnumbered lands.
Game 4: Winter Orb race on me to death with Mishra's Helix.
Game 5: Should've try Upheaval. Lose.
Game 6: Bit close. Winter Orb locks the hell out of me again. By then, my mind went automatic :/ I Miracle Devastation Tide and played my stuff. I won when I have enough rocks to cast an overload Rift. I recast too many Rifts and Devastation in this match that they're essential to my survival.
Game 7: Got S. Claim out on turn 4 and he managed to cast Garruk the following turn. Cast MW getting a lot of Ramp and Beast on his Forgemaster. The following turn I cast Inferno titan then swing a lot of damage to his blockers.
So far, it is a VERY interesting card to include. It's a good replacement when the usual Lotus Bloom got countered. If you managed to get it out before turn 4 for Bloom, LED plus 3+4 lands can be essential to cast MW. Definitely a keeper for now. Just be careful when to use it.
Flux and I were chatting online. He made some interesting point on how or why to use LED. Haven't seen it in battle but he made infinite mana using a surviving Tamiyo, the Moon Sage which is kind of awesome.
Mull to 5. Troubled with permission decks. Turn 4 Jace and countered with FoW. Slagstorm and Mortars helped me get rid of Tarlrand. My mistake is not casting Burning of Xinye when he has four lands. Frist time I cast MW on 6th turn with Garruk I cascaded Mirri's Guile and Thirst for Knowledge which led to Remove Soul. 2nd Time the following turn, I cascaded (with Cavern this time) Lotus Bloom and Grim Monolith. He took 7 that time. The following turn, he cast Cryptic Command for Draw and Tap MW. I then use Temporal Mastery on 2nd Phase but was Negate. I then cast Burning of Xinye (with Bloom, Grim and Fellwar Stone) and the game is finish.
Game 1. Fast bond dropping 3 lands in all, and Felwar Stone. Turn 2, Library. I've outraced him.
Game 2 Kept Coalition Relic, Arid Mesa, Fellwar Stone, Worn Powerstone, Metamorph, Slagstorm, and a mountain. By turn 2 he managed to get 2 more creatures (Fyndhorn Elves, BoP with Llanowar Elves already in play) with no land drop. My turn 2 is land drop and Fellwar. Turn 3 he cast Grand Abolisher and Sylvan Library and Sylvan Tutor for SFM. My turn three is land drop Maze of Ith with Slagstorm. Turn 4 is no land drop but with Coalition Relic. Turn 5 Tezz and search for Lotus Bloom. His Turn 6 is doing a lot of drops with Promise of Bunrei with 3 cards left. Next turn, I cast MW, Mystical Tutor Devastation (I just top deck Upheaval) and not casting Wild Growth. He drop his lands and kept using his spirits to block MW. I won when I have enough mana (thanks to Tezz) for Inferno Titan.
Mull down to 6. Oath, Traitor, Steam Vents, Ancestral Vision, Personal and Coldsteel. I made a mistake of not able to produce a token from a cascaded Garruk Wildspeaker which I'm wide open to a lot of weenies. I didn't have U to cast Mystical Tutor since I only have 3 lands that produces mana.
Game 2. Should've mulled to avoid 1st turn City of Traitors. He cast Tangle Wire before I get to cast Lotus Bloom and LED.
Note: It could have a different outcome if I think ahead.
Game 1: no land for the first few mull. Down to Crag and Boseiju
Game 2: Turn 2 Oath. Turn 3 he cast Natural Order grabbing the elephant.
Game 3: Turn 1 Oath and dropping a lot of lands with Upheaval. in the end, he has Char and Magma Spray to kill me since I'm down to 6 before killing him.
Note: Don't be too greedy with Sylvan Library. I should stay above 10 when playing against an aggro/burn decks like Radha.
Game 1: Fastbond Wars. We drop lands like crazy. Then resetting everything using Upheaval. Didn't do well until he cast Jenara where he's at 1 and can't do anything to deal him.
Game 2: He has Fastbond this time. Turn 2-3 Jenara. But I managed to kill him with Mortars then dropping Library (w the help of Coldsteel Heart). I've managed to use LED but then he cast Humility then casting Prison Term on MW. Casting Future Sight and grab a lot of stuff EXCEPT a removal which in his turn cast Seal of Cleansing on it. Have to cast Devastation even though Humility and his other enchantments remains.
Game 3: Turn 1 Fastbond which I landed 3 lands that turn with. Managed to cast MW with LED and grab Basalt Monolith and Beast Within on Detention Sphere with Garruk exiled. Could've won if I made a best token since Jenara kept pumping and I just add a counter from Garruk instead of letting him die and having a 3rd 3/3 to swing for the game.
Those mistakes cost me the game. I have to remember that.
Game 1: Cast MW but he has Garruk and Jace 2.0 gaining back his hand. I have Future Sight which All is Dust is castable. However, I didn't get the chance to cast MW.
Game 2: Turn 1 Fastbond but made a mistake... only 2 lands. He cast Teferi in response to MW.
Game 3: Didn't get enough lands that doesn't etbt. That slows me down extensively despite having crazy ramps in my hand.
Note: Teferri is bit of a problem. Need something that can kill him ASAP
So far, I'm focusing on the artifact rocks which increased the chance of casting other spells (whereas most of the ramp spells put lands into the field tapped). LED is wonderful addition to the field, so I'm thanking Fluxuate and FZA for recommending this pricy card to the deck.
Sadly, I have to drop Nevinyrral's Disk and Oblivion Stone since it's making my rocks an open season for opponent to keep attacking hoping I'll use either of them which will wipe everything on the field EVEN to my rocks. Normally it's a good thing that I wipe everything on the field but losing 3+ rocks is bit annoying since I drop most of the ramps spells.
So far, Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir is a bit problematic for me. Even though I've faced him 3 times, I can't think of a way to deal him because he has flash which means he can easily disrupts MW's cascade. Here are the candidates when brainstorming against him:
I've added a new category called Match Score Win-Draw-Lose. Note that there are many factors about the statistics (mainly because I made some bad calls and the deck is bit old before I change the decklist too many times).
Game 1: He use his 1st land to kill my Crystal Veins. I use my 3rd land to destroy his Sulfur Falls. He then cast Clique and just beat me. I use Phyrexian Metamorph to copy his. I cast Eternal Witness to destroy his only colored lands (with reflecting pool, Kher Keep and Port). I won by using Frost Titan, Inferno Titan and Witness.
Game 2: Made a major mistake to cast MW that I need 4 lands to make Temple to give me 2.
Game 3: Upheaval before he remove the last time counter from Enter the Infinite which leaves him nothing to cast with his library in his hand.
Game 3: Turn 1 Fastbond and dropping 5 lands and 1 Talisman with Mindslaver remains. Turn 2 Mindslaver and 6th land (aka 7th mana). His turn 2 is Library. Turn 3 MW cascading All is Dust and Upheaval. He use Journey to Nowhere and kept casting Teeg twice... 1st time is Metamorph and other is a Titan.
Game 4: He got turn 2 Teeg but luckily I have cmc<4 cards in hand. I able to cast MW but by his next turn, he has Teeg, PT and Thrun in addition to having a manland.
Game 5: I've managed to cast MW cascading Thirst for Knowledge and Mystical Tutor searching for Cyclonic Rift. Ended up as a draw because we both made a mistake because he won by dealing me to 0 and I won because he couldn't sacrifice Teeg (from Swords of Fire and Ice) to avoid Oath of Druids . If I did it right, it could've been a 2-3.
Note: Need Volcanic Fallout back... Probably Flame Slash or something since most of my cards are 4<cmc.
I based my changes from Sandpef's design. Claiming that his meta (GAAIV and Teeg) isn't much of a problem. Teferi didn't much appear in its local meta. He has a lot of draws, 3 creatures, 2 enchantments, 39 lands, and extra time walks.
Countering my Coalition and Kozilek my Signet. Using Mystical Tutor and Temp Manipulation he cast Complicate. So far he got disconnected. Reviewing the replay, he got the upperhand in the opening hand until he ran out of steam... unfortunaltey. I'm running out of cards to cast.
So in this case, it could've been my lost.
Might need Defense Grid in the deck or Teferi back in the deck.
Game 1: Turn 1 Fastbond after mulling.... casting Upheaval with Fastbond.
Game 2: Turn 1 Mirri's Guile. Managed to grab a red mana for pyroclasm on 2/2 Skull. Turn 3 he used GSZ on Lotleth Troll. He made Loleth Troll pump him up dropping Rootwala. It beat me down to 7 until I got enough mana to use Wildfire sweeping everything on the field except Guile.. Both of use top decking like crazy but he can't drop any lands. He concede when I drop Thran Dynamo.
Game 1: managed to beat me down to 6 with her hordes before casting Winter Orb and overload Mortars.
Game 2: She cast Teeg on turn 2 with Harmonic Sliver on turn 3 destroying my Guardian Idol. Then she drop Wasteland on turn 4 and cast Fauna shaman and Llanowar Elves. Turn 5 she cast Petrified Field to bring back Wasteland and popping my land which leads me down to 3 lands. Then casting Crop Roration to get Cradle.
Note: she's too fast. Remedy for this is to lower the cmc and have tons and tons of removal... Mindslaver and Urban Evolution can be helpful but with Teeg being a GW, you need a 2 Pyroclasms to make him cost 4GW. Even then, I hope that he doesn't have anything to pump him . So that means, I have to drop a lot of expensive cards just to cover up Teeg's annoying expenses.
Note: she's a really good player. Seen her play online for a very long time.
Game 1: Tutor/Temporal Mastery on his end of 3rd turn (down to 21 because of Boseiju). Turn 5 Tamiyo. Wildfire on turn 6 with 6 life remains
Game 2: Went turn 2 Simic land and he wasteland it. He commandeered my Garruk Wildspeaker.
Game 3: I got turn 2 Library. Turn 3 Wild Growth on Crystal Veins and Simic Land then casting Winter Orb which then he use Disrupting Shoal exiling Withdraw... at least I remove 2 cards from his hand (he has 5 lands and I have 6). On his turn, he wasted Boomerang on my library. My turn, I cast Relic and attempt to cast my Library which he used Spell Snare. He cast Talrand which taps him out completely and I use Tutor/ Mastery on his end turn. I drop my land and attempt to Beast Within his Talrand which he bounced it back using Snapback's free cost. I cast MW during my extra turn cascading Slagstorm killing his Drake and Inferno Titan.
From those games in Cockatrice there's a time (since I live in the US) where a lot of Duel players from Europe appear and played their format which is a good testing ground for my deck to determine if it can survive . Among I've talked to one MW player named Sandpef and he is happily show me his deck and he agreed to show it to you guys. So far, his reasoning for his deck is his meta. He said that his match against GAAIV and other blue players are preferable which to me is like a good news.
Note: he's testing Ral Zarek and he haven't come up with a conclusion.
Like I said before, my changes in my current deck is based on his design. Sadly, I have to drop a lot of cards to see if it really does work.
Game 1: Mull to 6. Turn 1 Fastbond with only producing 2 lands. Turn 2 is no land but Mirri's Guile. Turn 3 became a Oath of Druids and I'm stuck with having 2 Sun Titan
Game 2: Oath of Druid but I cast All is Dust on turn 4. Managed to surrive and thanking Overload Rift. Won by general damage and he has -10 cards in his library thanks to Oath.
Game 3: Got Nevermore on MW but I counter it with Krosan Grip and casting MW the following turn. Fastbond me. I could get the answer except he has Parallax Tide removing my lands.
Note: All is Dust and Cyclonic Rift are decent removal against Jenara. First turn Fastbond is fun if you have 2+ lands in tow.
Game 1: His Turn 2 wasteland my turn 1 volcanic island. My turn 3 is Oath. Dropping a lot cards until Inferno Titan. They exile him and kept attacking me. I oath again and top deck Eternal Witness, brininging back Gruul Signet. Until he has enough creatures to attack me down to 11 then summon Tajic. End turn, my life is down to 9 because I cast Volcanic Fallout killing everything except Tajic. I Oath for Phyrexian Metamorph but I cast PT. End Game.
Game 2: Turn 1 fetching an island to avoid Moon cards and turn 2 drop fetchland and Personal Tutor. Turn 3, I trigger Miracle then fetch. I drop a land then end turn. Then I drop my 4th land Garruk then drop Simic Signet... I got kicked out and ignored ._____.
Game 1: He got Burning Tree + Radha turn 2 while I got turn 2 Oath. He use turn 3 Natural Order which he grabbed manlands.
Game 2: Turn 2 Oath. Oathed an Inferno Titan. lol
Game 3 Turn 2 Oath with Frost Titan on his recently cast Rubblebelt Raiders on turn 3 and dropping Maze of Ith. Turn 4 he drop Thundermaw Hellkite and ith'ed it. Turn 4, I oathed a topped Phyrexian Metamorph. End game
Game 1: kept Fastbond but i got 0 useable land (plus very expensive spells). I have to concede
Game 2: He cast Teferi. I lost because I made a mistake on cascading Cyclonic Rift on Venser.
Game 3: Turn 1 Boseiju which it saves me for a while. He has Turn 4 Jace and a turn 5 Stonybrook Banneret. My turn then cast All is Dust, then cascade Tezzeret which he used Glen's Negate. He cast Azami then end turn. My turn cast Parallax Tide which he use its last Negate. I swing for 14th damage then cast Wild Growth and then Eternal Witness for All is Dust. He got Sword of FaF which forced me to discard Maze of Ith. I cast Thirst for Knowledge which expected to counter spell it. I attacked with Witness then he blocked with Azami and a manland losing down to 6 lands + False God land. I end my turn by All is Dust. He cast an Spellstutter Sprite equipped with swords. I cast my MW then Cascade Life from the Loam which he allows then Karn. He has to use his Cephalid Colosseum to draw 3 more lands and discard Mental Misstep, Aether Adapt and Repeal. I exile his only creature which he bounce MW. He got Teferi but concede because I can exile using Karn.
Game 3: Got Oath on turn 2. Turn 3 I oath a Witness grab Fastbond with Life from the Loam in the grave. He attack me with Grim Lavamancer and Azorius Arrester. I took the hit to 22. He concede since he knew that I'll Oath something big...

Haven't tried Intuition just yet. So no comment about that card for now.
I haven't played any new games this weekend since I've been busy and I've been away from my computer so I haven't done any new report lately. So I apologize in advance.
Just a quick question. In my Wanderer build I used Noxious Revival. It proved useful a couple of times. You can either use it before cascading and pick your spell from your gy or if it cascades you can set up the second cascade with it. The problem I saw with it was that it's not that reliable and a win more sollution.
The proper question is: "does Noxious Revival useful at the beginning, later turns, late game or cascade (1st and 2nd cascade)?" NR is indeed a good card to use since it's a utility but it has some limitation based on your statement. You have to explain me further how can that card be useful in those 4 scenarios.
If there are awesome cards in my gy, why didn't I win with them already? At other times there were just a couple of ramp spells and artifacts in my gy, not the best cascade material.
If there are awesome cards in my gy, why didn't I win with them already?
The only answer that I could think of why we're not winning with the crap that we filled up in our graveyard is disruption/permission from our opponents... at least to my experience (or being Oath'ed). I've been cascading, casting and counterbait every spells that I could throw at them that we stock a lot of goodies in our graveyard. For your scenario, it's nice to have some recursion back to our hand... which is a good thing for you. To me, facing Jenara, Radha, GAAIV, Ruhan and etc have pounded their way to my defenses using counterspells or as simple as Disenchant.
I'm curious what version of MW you run. You run Noxious Revival and I'm running Eternal Witness (not sure if you even run her), both does the same thing except one goes to the top of the deck (which is a good way to cast miracle) and the other go to the hand which I have to waste a lot of mana to recast it (at least it has a body and it can be Oath'ed).
Anyhow, I'm searching a substitute for said card and I was looking at Seal of Removal. I like it because it's a delayed bounce spell. If you cascade into unsommon (or any other instant bounce spell), you are forced to use it: it can be great, or bad (bounce an enemy etb creature) or useless (no targets). The seal stays there, waiting for the perfect moment. You can also bounce Wanderer too for another cascade. It's also nice since you can play it turn 1 and have a uncounterable rattle snake on the board that doesn't need spare mana. It's also a great delay for Zur, probably the hardest matchup for a Wanderer deck.
What do you think?
I haven't tested Seal of Removal. I won't be able to put that card in until I played enough games to determine if Intuition perform well or just a dead draw (by the time I have that card in my hand, I already won).
My thoughts on that is still in theory-wise and on a positive note. I haven't faced Zur for a while so I haven't got any new to report on it (or just being busy as Hell). SoR is an interesting card to use for and against during a match. You faced Zur more often that I, so how does it perform for you? What card did you remove to put a slot for that card? Is it useful at the beginning, middle or even late aside from being cascaded?
i was thinking niv mizzet, the firemind or dracogenius as well as zegana, these help you draw cards and can refill your hand fast enough to get lands via fatbond. jace's archivist is a reusable windfall, but you might not need it because your deck is cascade.
come on WOtC, print a green wheel of sun and moon
oh yeah,
i was thinking niv mizzet, the firemind or dracogenius as well as zegana, these help you draw cards and can refill your hand fast enough to get lands via fatbond.
Kuma91 is using Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius haven't heard from him on how his deck perform in his local meta.
As for Prime Speaker Zegana, she's only good for goodstuff/creature based MW. If you Casade (or Oath) her before a creature is in play, you'll be stuck with a 1/1 which will make you draw 1 which is a waste of 2GGUU.
jace's archivist is a reusable windfall, but you might not need it because your deck is cascade.
Jace's Archivist can be good. I would put him in goodstuff version though.
are good on drop and cascade, specially overbeing because you might keep most of your hand.
Deus of Calamity can be a good addition. Since it can be Oath'ed and it's LD is annoying enough that you can destroy any land.
Dominus of Fealty is iffy at best for me since it's an upkeep ability... anything can happen between those times. Although having flying is a nice evasion.
Overbeing of Myth is weak if you have 0 hand meaning that you have to drop such cards like Lion's Eye Diamond since you need at least 1 card in hand for her to survive.
right, overbeing's power depends on hand size, forgot about that...
i have tried out deus, and he's pretty good LD, the dominus depends on your opponent's field.
nice banner
I'll try both (not Overbeing) out since they're within the Oath range but not right now since I'm still deciding whether or not Intuition is useful in my matches...
Turn 4-5 Dominus for 6/6 can be interesting. You have really have to be careful with Blue players because I kept seeing Sower of Temptation kept stealing my creatures.
And thanks for the compliment. DNC made that upon my request.
Game 1: mulled to 6 and kept a lot of useless lands (ie colorless). Turn 2 colorless land drop which I drop Scroll Rack and Lotus Bloom. Turn 3 is drop land with dropping Coalition Relic which in turn suspending Search for Tomorrow which is stuck in my hand for a while. Turn 4 I managed to drop a 4th land with Phyrexian Metamorph tuning into Coalition Relic. Next turn, searching for land, Lotus Bloom is done, I cast a miracled Temporal, then use my artifacts to cast MW which Cascades into Fastbond and Thirst for Knowledge. I attack and then go to my extra turn. I cast Frost Titan and he's done.
Game 2: Turn 3 Oath (turn 2 Wasteland on his Cavern but SFM is out). I got Eternal Witness and brings back Wasteland on his Homeward Path. Then use Personal Tutor to bring Devastation Tide. He Oathed Linvala angel but no land drop. I miracle to bounce all nonland cards and drop my land. As a result, he has less lands to deal with MW.
Game 3: Turn 1 Wasteland his Clifftop Retreat. Turn 2 land drop. Turn 3 Land Drop which I use Brainstorm to grab the extra turn. Turn 4 MW but got Brainstorm and Desvastation. He got Tajic out the next turn. Can't really attack him (because I wasted my hand for LED). He got Armageddon out. With Swords of Fire and Ice, I'm wide open and can't attack him because he has a resilient blocker.
Game 4: he won by armageddon Before that I cast my usual Personal Tutor for extra turn but he cast Thalia... I have to use my fetchland to prevent from wasting my draw which happens to be Brainstorm.
Game 5: he won with Winter Orb out... I have enough lands or but tapped out with no rocks in play. My mistake is that I have 7 mana of Rite of Ruin which sacrifice his boss+1, his sword of Light and Shadow and I guess 3 lands...
Game 6: I've managed to drop Gilded Lotus on turn 4 (with Crystel Veins and with the help of Mirri's Guile on turn 2). The following turn, I cast Frost Titan targeting Tajic but was then exile with Fiend Hunter. Next I cast MW cascading Wildfire thus returning Frost Titan and removing all threats except Tajic which I tapped it with Frosty.... then 2nd cascade with Tamiyo that taps his lands. He concede.
Note: He has Winter Orb, Armageddon, Ravages of War and Ruination in addition to Moon package.
Game 1: Use Parallax Tide on his Land on turn 3 (with help of Temporal Manipulation). Didn't get my 8th land for a while. Made a mistake on using miracle Devasation Tide when I have enough land for a Cursecatcher he use MW to cascade that and a Tinder Wall. That mistake cost me the game.
Game 2: Mull for 6 with only 1 hand and Library, Oath, Metamorph, Signet and LED. Didn't have any green but I drop Oath on turn 3. His turn 3 is dropping Animar. I Oath Frost Titan with the help of Brainstorm and I drop Sylvan Library. His fourth turn is crop rotation for Gaea's Cradle and dropping Fauna Shaman and Fierce Empath for Kozilek which he has 4 creatures (Animar, Sylvan Ranger from turn 2 and those 2). Turn 4 is Oath'ed Inferno Titan.
Game 3: Mull to 6 with Fastbond and 4 lands. First turn Fatbond and drop 5 lands. His turn 2 is 2nd land and I end turn for Brainstorm. Turn 2 dropping Grim Monolith and Gruul Signet. He end that game.
Evergreen's Iname, Death Aspect
0-2
Game 1: Mull to 6. Witness, Bloom, mountain, fetch, Intuition. He got Turn 3 Iname. I have 2 lands, Talisman and a suspended Lotus Bloom. I use his end turn Intuition for some removal including Wildfire, Oath and LED.
Game 2: Turn 1 Thoughtseize which forced me to discard Mystical Tutor. We both got out boss early which I cascade Tamiyo and Mirri's Guile. It's a close game but he won by attrition.
Note:
Need Primal Command back to my deck.
If I keep losing to Iname, I need to bring that card back (or Time Spiral).
Game 1: He dropped Dryad Arbor. Turn 2 Oath for me. His turn 2 is just Experiment One. Oath'ed Eternal Witness brininging back Rishadan Port which I dropped it and tapped his only land. I Oath'ed Inferno Titan. GG
Game 2: He dropped Loam Lion. I dropped a forest with Wild Growth. Turn 2 Fellwar Stone, land and Scroll Rack. He swing me to 18 and he dropped Stormblood Berserker (with Loam Lion and Thalia already in play). I dropped Fastbond. Down to one (thanking to Cyclonic Rift of 8 because of Thalia which he Lightning Bolt me) but I got I win using MW, Rite of Ruin and Garruk's tokens.
Game 1: Turn 1 Lotus Bloom and Ancestral Recall suspended with dropping an Island. Turn 4, I Ported Celestial Colonnade and Cyclonic Rift on Boros Signet. I cast turn 5 MW cascading Upheaval and Parallax Tide. He used Oust on MW. But I use Tide to exile his lands. I dropped my 3rd land using Witness and suspending Lotus Bloom. He brings back Boros Reckoner. I dropped my fourth land and casting Thran Dynamo and Fellwar Stone. He attacked me for 3 with Reckoner and I'm down to 29 (thanks from Oust earlier). Casting MW and cascading Rite of Ruin but he cast Mana Leak. My 2nd cascade is Personal Tutor for Tempral Manipulation.
Game 1: He got birds out and then Knight of Reliquary on turn 2. He Abrupt Decay my Grim Monolith on turn 3. He managed to cast Karador and Birthing Pod (with helped of Gaea's Cradle) to grab Iona on green. I have to concede because I have 4 lands (plus last time counter from Search for Tomorrow), a Life from the Loam, Burning of Xinye and Inution. I could cast it but I'm all tapped out.
Game 2: Mull to 6. He got turn 2 Teeg and I got turn 1 Mirri's Guile. Having a hard time using overcoming is armada. In addition, he cast Saffi to protect his assets. My mistake is not killing Teeg with my Beast Within because I'm so focus on dropping Grim Monolith. That could give me enough time to cast something else.
Game 3: Managed to outpace him even with Karador out. I use Frost Titan to keep tapping his blockers and Gaea's Cradle. Even if he use Bojuka Bog on my +10 graveyave, I've managed to overwhelmed him.
Game 4: He got Qasali Pridemage (with Fauna Shaman) so that he'll Naturalize my turn 1 suspended Lotus Bloom. He responded when it enters the field but I use its mana to cast Volcanic Fallout thus wiping his field and can pay Karador BGW and a creature the following turn. I dropped my 4th lands (City of Traitors) and use my 2x dual land and Wasteland PLUS LED to get a turn 4 MW which Cascade Fastbond and Burning of Xinye.

Analysis
With the new meta. I have to update my deck again to compensate with the new aggro thanks to Bitterblossom and players putting Stony Silence when Humilty gets removed. With Humility removed, Karador decks became more vicious than ever. Soon I'm planning to pack all the pyroclasm I can get or at least getting Primal Command back in my deck. So far, Iname and Karador utilize the graveyard exclusively fast.
This card is quite interesting in a simulated scenario. Most of the time we have expensive cards stuck in our hand. With Blast of Genius for turn 6+ we might be able to kill something on the field. I have so far have a couple of Karn Liberated stuck in my hand which I could use it to draw and kill something for 7 damage.
I've used Mana Drain when playtest the 1v1 Regular list. Even though that's turn 4 counterspell, its mana can benefit us. Although having RR and UU is bit tedious and it's a lot slower then Drain.
One thing that I like about this PW is versatility. I can tap ANYTHING and untapping from land to monoliths. In addition, it feels like Garruk Wildspeaker except that it targets one mana source.
I'll do my deck report (aka my usual performance rant) later this week.
But for now, I've updated my deck to include Renaud Thirouard's MW among the winning list (21/04/2013 EDH [Toulouse]). After seeing Carpet of Flowers against me online, I'll try and include that card. Really good hoser against blue decks.
In addition, I've seen a lot of aggressive MW online (combination of kills spells and aggro other than using Prime Time) after Duel Commander's Announcement. In addition, I've seen some Ral Zarek's running around, I've seen 50/50 on its performance. So far, I've survive a couple of Karador/Hulk with a pyroclasm and managed to cast a lot of Burning/Wildfire on the field... maybe I'm that lucky.
What's your experience with the new meta? Losing Humility and Vanishing forced other decks to adapt. Did you guys added more creatures? How's DGM cards doing for you?
Some decks, I've seen don't run as much Pyroclasm... maybe perhaps I've faced a couple of Teeg that it's annoying that I kept losing to him. Those cards are entirely depending on your local meta anyway.
Game 1: Mull to 4... turn 2 Signet. Turn 3 with Fastbond with Slagstorm in hand. His turn 3 is dropping a land. Luckily he just drop Greater Good on turn 4 and dropping Solemn Simulucrum on turn 5. He got Elesh out on turn 7th turn. On my 7th turn, no land drop except I have Cyclonic Rift and Slagstorm in hand. He got Karador and Sakura Tribe Elder. I have to cast with Overload since he's tapped out. I only dropped Garruk and getting a token out. Sadly, he got Iona for Red. I have to concede.
Game 2: Keeping 3 lands, Worn, Thran, and Tide. Turn 2 Cold Stone, and turn 3 Thran and Worn. His turn 3 is dropping a land. Turn 4 is Parallax Tide but he use Mortify. He cast Solemn artifact but I cast Krosan Grip. I cast MW thae following turn which I cascade Tamiyo and LED.
Game 3: Turn 1 Breeding Pool and Search for Tomorrow Suspend. Turn 2 bounce lands where he dropped Fauna Shaman. Next turn, he searched Sakura dropping Saffi. I dropped Thran and Worn that turn. He managed to dropped Nevermore. I then dropped JtMS to bounce his only creature. This kept going on and on I, then dropped Devasation. We topped deck for lands (need colored mana) until I dropped Frost Titan tapping his only land.
Game 1: Mull to 6 and went second. Turn one Kozilek which forced me to discard. Turn 3 Iname >.< I have to use Temporal Mastery/Tutor to get a turn 3 Thran but not enough to cast MW. The following turn I have to cast Devasation but i kept pinning since I can't race him since he kept casting Recurring Nightmare
Game 2: Mull to 6 it's ample but don't have any Island (keeping Brainstorm and Frost Titan). Turn 3 Worn Powerstone. He got turn 3 Army of the Damned.
Bit hard if I can't have any lands to cast MW quickly.
Game 1: Mull to 6 with All is Dust the only spell. He got Horde on turn 2.
Game 2: I should use Wasteland on his turn 1 dual land since he use Duress on Worn Powerstone. I cast a turn 4 Primeval Titan but he end turn using Ad Nauseam. In the end he got Griselbrand out. I got MW out and cast Metamorph on his only creature and he's down to 6.
Game 3: Mull to 6. Turn 2 Simic Signet. His turn 3 is dropping a land with Squandered Resources in play. I cast Coalition and Grim Monolith. He end turn Impulse and Tutoring for Dark Ritual. Turn 4 he got combo out for Tendrils. If I survive the following turn, I could've cascade Destructive Force and kill his resources.
Note: too slow for a combo Tendrils. Requiring a lot of counterspells.
Mull to 5... 3 lands, traitors and Vision. Got beat by turn 2 Skullbriar where he dropped Pernicious Deed. Able to keep them in bay because I cast All is Dust. Down to 2 but cast MW and cascading Rite of Ruin and Frost Titan.
Game 1: Mull to 6... made a mistake on mulling LED. Turn 2 Animar but I cast Metamorph. His turn 3 is dropping Commune with Nature (revealing Artifc Merfolk) and dropping a land. I got no land drop but able to cast MW cascading Worn and Pyroclasm killing his only Arbor Elf. His turn went to Glimpse to Nature dropping, Wall of Blossom... he concede.
Game 2: I wasteland his turn 2 land with Pyroclasm ready. His turn 3 is dropping a land (with Sylvan Ranger cast on his turn 2). Turn 3 is Scroll Rack and a land drop with 2 lands in play. He dropped 3 lands (island, forest, and Hinterland Harbor) casting GSZ for 2 for Lotus Cobra. I then cast Pyroclasm after dropping a land. He dropped a land and Wild Growth. I drop a land and Mind Stone. He drop Animar and Gaea's Cradle. I cast Search for Tomorrow, dropping a land and Metamorph on Animar. I drop a land and cast Slagstorm on Animar. He cast Animar again. I cast MW use Scroll Rack to cascade Mortars on 1/1 Animar and a Guile. He cast Imperial Recruiter searching for Fierce Empath seeing that I have 9 mana in tow (from Mind Stone). He cast Fierce then search for PT. He dropped Phantasmal Image and copy Recruiter then searched for Cloud of Faeries. I attack, then cast Wildfire thanks to gambling my 1 card in hand for Scroll Rack. He concede.
Game 3: He got Animar out on turn 2 and I got Fellwar Stone on Turn 2 keeping Volcanic Fallout. Turn 3 is Sylvan Ranger, dropping a land. He managed to drop Animar but I cast Volcanic Fallout. I started to win when I dropped Tamiyo on 1 turn, follow by Garruk and finally Burning of Xinye.
Game 1: Turn 1 Mother of Runes. Turn 2 Dark Confidant. Turn 3 Teysa. Turn 4 Blasting Station. Turn 5 he hit me down to 19. I cast MW and cascading Library and Primal Command for Inferno Titan because of a mistake. Won by Mindslaver.
Game 1: Turn 1 BoP. Turn 4 he has BoP, Vorel, ShambleShark and Quiron Dryad and Primordial Hydra. I'm down to 4 while he's at 26. I have to use All is Dust. Casting MW and Worldly Tutor and use it to find Inferno Titan. End game
Game 2: Turn 3 MW (with LED and Grim Monolith) cascading Wildfire.
Note: Took a while to realize the we all read his effects wrong.
Game 1: Turn 1 land and Pilgrim, Turn 2 is land and Survival... Turn 1 is land and turn 2 land and Pyroclasm. He's stuck on turn 2 lands and Fauna Shaman where I have 4 lands and Oath.
Game 2: Turn 3 Pyroclasm on his mana dork where he transmute Dimir House Guard for Natural Order.
Game 3: Got Turn 5 Maelstrom Wanderer ( with Temple and LED) cascading Inferno Titan on Carrion Feeder, BoP and Ranger of Eos.
Game 1: Spell Snare my Turn one Guile. Turn 2 Coldsteal Heast and his is Tolaria West turn 2 drop. His turn 3 is Darksteel Ingot and mine is turn 3 Oath. I tried to cast Beast Within but he Condescend it. Turn 5 LED and cascade Garruk and Worldly Tutor. Sadly he didn't realized that Oath is a double-edged sword.
Game 2: I got a turn 2 Port which he got annoyed. Turn 3 JtMS. Turn 4 Parallax Tide and exile his 3 lands and bounce Jhoira. I cast MW but he use Cryptic Command on it... but I cascade Devasation which he concede... I have Upheaval just in cast he counter Devasation.
Game 4: Didn't realized that he has a counterspell on my turn when I cast my Frost Titan.
Weakness: lost to straight ramp. Needing a lot of Pyroclasm to avoid those weenies. Solution, might use more ramps. He told me that he just copy Renaud's list.
Seeing that Renaud's design is quicker than mine (he only has a handful of removal), it's time for me to change the design again.
Game 1: Turn 1 Battleground land his is an elf. Turn 2 Port and tap his Taiga but he cast Bob. He kpet popping my ramps with Rakdos Charm and my Battleground via Zealous Conscript and bring me down to 8. I have to cast Burning of Xinye leaving me with Moss Diamond and Tropical Island where he has Bayou. Down to 6 but managed to win with MW cascading Fact or Fiction and Slagstorm his only creature.
Game 2: My rocks kept me from getting destroyed with his Wasteland and Life from the Loam. Able to cast MW with Inferno Titan thus killing his creatures and a Worn Powerstone.
Game 3: Made a mistake on not using Rite of Ruins correctly leaving him with 1 land and me nothing.
Game 4: No removal to sweep on the field
Game 5: I managed to ramp MW quickly.
===========================
So far, I haven't reached a design that can outpace the top tier decks. Sad to say that facing MW, facing a straight ramp gave me a hard time. Without any disruption, he can out pace me. I'm curious about that design's matchup against a well-tuned decks like Jenara enchantment and GAAIV.
Game 1: he got Turn 1 Entombing Hulk. Turn 2 Animate Dead.
Game 2: Got turn 3 Garruk and Sylvan Library. He got turn 4 Knight of Reliquary.
Game 3: turn 1 Oath and dropping all my 4 other cards. 2 lands drops so far and he got turn 3 Buried Alive. Mistake... dropping my LED and stuff because he cast Pernicious Deed. That could've been my win.
Game 4: Managed to cast Rite of Ruin to remove all the field except his Survival and my Relic.
Game 5: Mana screwed and have to miss land drop to sweep.
Game 6: Got Hulk out quickly on turn 4
Game 7: Turn 1 Oath but quickly out of steam. Have to use Wildfire to remove everything
Game 1: Managed to get a turn 5 MW for Personal Tutor and land sweepers
Game 2: Managed to cast MW but with rocks... he gets to cast Merek and it takes too long that I just have to concede.
Game 3: I've managed to cast MW early and cascade Rite of Ruin. With Carpet of Flowers, I've managed to recast MW (he bounced it).
Interesting match-up. Managed to use Carpet of Flowers and so far it's great!!! It made blue players want to get rid of it or have to be careful about dropping blue lands.
Game 1: Outpaced me. Mulled to 5 (Upheaval, Worn, and 3 lands) while he kept his hand. Shoudl've kept Pyroclasm instead of mull it. Turn 2 Mortars on his Bloom Tender. Game is taking too long that he managed to cast Teferi (with Brithing Pod) and he cast Damia as a response when I cast Beast Within.
Game 2: Kept my hand. Turn 1 land and Lotus Bloom. He got turn 2 Edric but I got turn 3 Oath. He just cast Opposition on turn 3. I Oath'ed Metamorph on Edric where he tapped my land via Opposition. Turn 4 Trygon Predator which he searched via Demonic Tutor. I Oath'ed Inferno Titan and he concede.
Sad to say, I didn't get a 3rd match to determine if I get a 2nd win. Safe to assume that his deck hasn't updated for the new meta.
===========================
My test is getting close. I might play less for the next few weeks. I hoped that you guys have some nifty discovery on how to make MW perform well in this new meta instead of me writing diaries of my mistakes and wins.
So far, Karador and Iname are my hard matchups which is kind of annoying.
Iname is one thing but he can pull it out by turn 3-4. Without any disruption I'll be overwhelmed by its horde when he managed to put them from graveyard to the field.
Karador is the rising star in the meta, lately. I hoped I get some answers from you guys.

Analysis
Treause Hunt: it's a decent card. It enables me to draw my card[s] depending on what it'll reveal since it can be a turn 2 draw. Even if it reveal just one card, it'll helped me avoiding getting top decking some stuff
Sylvan Scrying: It's an awesome card. It can search and land and with the help of Fastbond, it helped gaining momentum.
Verdict: I love keeping this card. It is a bit annoying at first since i use it to drop my Monolith and Kodama's Reach. I might put them back in the future because there are other much more effecient cards.
+ Sylvan Library
+ Burning of Xinye
+ Basalt Monolith

mana reflection is jokes, "oh look, i float 16 mana, upheval, and cast malestrom wanderer, have fun :D". selective memory lets you choose what to cascade, which is huge. it's very risky though.

I'm still figuring out whether or not dropping Avenger which is essential to annoy Doran and edicts alike for Pyroclasm/Whipflare against dorks and Radha. My win count is getting better for Doran and Radha as of today without those sweepers.

With all those changes. People noticed that I don't have enough speed. Klaus managed to hammered his opinion while Fluxuate gave me some pointers because his version actually beat the exalted's Karrthus LD. version. I Winter Orb is new as it saw some nifty combo with rocks.
Going to test drive my list again.
Tonight's Game:
Fluxuate's Rafiq of the Many
Dobe's Azusa, Lost but Seeking
+1 Devasation Tide
-1 Oblivion Stone

I based my changes from Sandpef's design. Claiming that his meta (GAAIV and Teeg) isn't much of a problem. Teferi didn't much appear in its local meta. He has a lot of draws, 3 creatures, 2 enchantments, 39 lands, and extra time walks.
Bamboozle's Wydwen, the Biting Gale
Game 2: Turn 1 Mirri's Guile. Managed to grab a red mana for pyroclasm on 2/2 Skull. Turn 3 he used GSZ on Lotleth Troll. He made Loleth Troll pump him up dropping Rootwala. It beat me down to 7 until I got enough mana to use Wildfire sweeping everything on the field except Guile.. Both of use top decking like crazy but he can't drop any lands. He concede when I drop Thran Dynamo.

Is it useful at the beginning, middle or even late aside from being cascaded?

jace's archivist is a reusable windfall, but you might not need it because your deck is cascade.

oh yeah,
- deus of calamity
- overbeing of myth
- dominus of fertality
are good on drop and cascade, specially overbeing because you might keep most of your hand. Thanks Argentleman;)
WB Teysa token aggroBW (retired)
MAKING (Onmath, Numot, maybe something in Esper)
As for Prime Speaker Zegana, she's only good for goodstuff/creature based MW. If you Casade (or Oath) her before a creature is in play, you'll be stuck with a 1/1 which will make you draw 1 which is a waste of 2GGUU.
Jace's Archivist can be good. I would put him in goodstuff version though.
Lol. It's good without that card... for me at least because I use Academy Ruins to bring Mindslaver.

Game 2: Turn 1 Thoughtseize which forced me to discard Mystical Tutor. We both got out boss early which I cascade Tamiyo and Mirri's Guile. It's a close game but he won by attrition.

Me thinks that the missing card is Breeding Pool.

Not my night I guess.
