I won 2-1 against Deathsadvocate. Kagemaro is strong. It can definitely replace Griselbrand in some metas especially with the rise of Marath and Derevi

Underestimated thrun, was packing much more land hate then I anticipated, which is of course my biggest weakness :P. Well played, were very close games, always within one turn of comboing for me, but not only did he slow me down, he beats face super fast. Definitely not a deck to be underestimated.

Got it. I was pairing people based on total points until top 8, then top 8 and top 4 will be based on match results. Since I already started it this way then I'm going to continue to do things this way for the remainder of the tournament. I probably should have clarified that at the beginning because it does give a slight benefit to playing all 3 games, even if the match is determined in the first 2 games. My apologies for not making that clear.

In the one I run next month, do y'all prefer me to do it the same way (total points until cut to top 8) or should I just go with match results?

thanks for joining in, it was great to have you! Is there a specific date that that new banlist is going to be revealed? I've been holding my breath, I just want to know when I can release it ^.^

To everyone else: This is the last of the Swisss rounds, after this there will be 2 weeks for top 8 single elimination, then top 4 single elimination. The top 2 players can then duke it out at their leisure, and once I get your results I"ll post everything on MTGTop8 as well as here.

2nd note: I"ll be running another one of these starting a couple of days after top4 is finished. Signups will begin this weekend. Seeing as I"m still new to this whole thing, is there anything y'all think I should change about how I did the points system, how I'm awarding wins/losses to people who didn't show up, the timeframes, anything like that? I'm trying to make this fair and enjoyable and all that, so please let me know if there was something you really didn't like or some way I can improve this.

Overall this has been really easy to run and a lot of fun so I don't think I'll have a problem with running this regularly, probably every 6 weeks. If you had a good time please let the people know online that I'm hosting these, my goal is to have 50-60 players signing up each time if we can ^.^

fr the 2 matches that I haven't heard a result from yet: Aozer/Gabgab, I've heard from both of you about trying ot connect, so I'm goign to give you both a draw if you don't end up playing. Kwiz/Lyserg, I haven't heard from either of you so you'll be getting a draw as well unless I hear otherwise. Ya'll have about a day to get these in. Thanks.

Alright, that seems fair. I just didn't want this thing taking 3 months to get done, which is why I wanted to shorten it up. I'm willing ot entertain the idea of doing more rounds, but I think I'd want to shorten the time for each round to 4 days or so if I go that route. Thoughts?
