@stall: I use Earthcraft in my Enchantment deck which performed better than the regular version. When I draw and play Earthcraft, I prefer something else. In addition, they require basic lands, bit hard to juggle with basic, nonbasics and utilities. Same goes with Mana Echoes... Even if I wanted to, which cards to drop? It's hard to include those by themselves.
For Steelshaper's Gift, I run it in my aggro version... for midrange, i just couldn't find the space (need to bring back Phyrexian Revoker).
@ToSGod: It's decent. But it didn't give enough "oomph" to the meta. I haven't found anyone who use that and managed to win a match.
I did made a comment to Lyserg's LED combo when I see him running those... My POV just consist of being clunky and hard to assemble as it didn't have enough artifact tutors (creatures are fine) plus that hefty price tags of emptying the hand (unless he also dropped Cavern of Souls). In addition, the only artifact that Salvagers can bring back in Naya colors are Collar, LED and artifact land(s) that could benefit from paying 2W.
Maybe it's a combination of availability and that scenario.
Don't know how much it matters since the tournament wasn't completely competitive (And complete lack of good UW decks). Won a tournament with a list similar to Acardus' list. Main difference is lack of ABU Duals, fetches, and an Imperial Recruiter. Played against Nin, Azami, Ezuri, and Shattergang Bros. The deck is a ton of fun and a huge amount of play. And before the tournament I beat a Good Vorel deck with drawing only about 4 cards the whole game outside of Birds, Pilgrim, and 12 lands... Then cast my gen 5 times.
Yeah, actually I'm going with SoFaF, Jitte, Collar and Clamp, but I was thinking about adding SoFaI for those pesky monoblue Thassa running around the net.
As for SfM package, the most common one (so far 2 decks made it to top 8 and 3 on top 20 which I post it just to see what they have) all have same package when I first saw the spoiled and made it into the deck (SoFF, Skullclamp, SoFI, and Jitte). Lately, I've found out that Collar (used it on and off for a time being) is essential and having Nightshade Peddler is good to have DT for Marath.
And I agree on Fire/Ice sword. But it's entirely depending on the meta and your confidence. Even though Lyserg didn't use it, I use it in my deck since I like having utility card that allows me to draw.
@OnTiltSoon: Sword of Feast and Famine is the card that makes Marath even more powerful. Fire and Ice is second and it's there to allow shocks to certain creatures and protection from other decks mainly blue.
@ToSGod: Which version do you run? Zoo or midrange?
It's closer to the Midrange deck with the lack of most of the expensive cards. Though I did run a Char, Mizzium Mortars, and Thalia. If I get tim elater I'll post a list. But again, it's no where near as consistent or as fast as you're guys' lists.
Doesn't matter if your list is missing some of the best cards. As long as it perform within your gameplay and did well in your meta, then it's doing good so far.
However, the lands do made the bulk on deck building finances.

Lolz Yea it preformed well. Marath just chewed through some of the decks in the meta. There was a game that I played against an Ezui deck that just made me fall in love with this deck. It was just a rough draft of what I had and was much worse than what mine is now.
Turn 1: Land Birds of Paradise
Opponent played a land and an Arbor Elf.
Turn 2: Land Marath
Opponent dropped a Gaea's Cradle, Llanowar Elves and Elvish Archdruid,
Turn 3: Land Bloodbraid Elf Cascade into Fiery Justic wrathing the board and attacking him for 6.
Ezuri tries to recoup.
Turn 4: Land drew a Birthing Pod played an Avacyn's Pilgrim. Pretty sure I was pretty far ahead by that point but I pulled out a deck list from my pocket to look at options and just about lost it.
Ezuri vomits his hand on the field.
Turn 5: Played Pod, saced BB, Tutored a Zelous Conscript, untapped pod, saced Marath, tutored Restoration Angel blinking conscripts and untapping pod, saced Angel, tutored Kiki-Jiki Mirror Breaker, created infinite Conscripts and won.
I'm not into combos but the options this deck presents is insane and I never realized an aggressive deck could give me this much flexibility and options to be both reactive and proactive. I'm going to try and make this my next big project. So I plan on being back here to throw ideas around and ask for some help.
Yeah. He's flexible enough in competitive meta that's why I like playing him. Although I've experienced a couple of problems along the way if they drop their game faster than mine.
Just wondering. Based from your experience, what would you changed in your deck after that tourney? You're really that confident from your deck's performance?
I agree on Cavern. People started to focus on the mana dorks. Naming elves or Elementals usually hindered their counterspells despite we have ways to bring them back... Also naming key combo cards to make sure we labd the combo.
For some reason, I always call Elves when I have Caverb during the opening games.
Ouch! Sorry to hear that especially with that skirmish with the jugde! Really an SOB! Hopefully that you won't get that mistake again! Suck you got instant DQ.
That aside, thanks for the report! It survived most of the regular opponents even with MW (sniff!). I'm curious what he runs (other than that Wurmcoil Engine... And for the other thread to discuss that).
I assume you haven't change your list.
PS
Is that the same report that Asimov had mention yesterday? I'm confuse... If you're DQ, how come you name was brought up in top 10?
I thought we were pretty well off against Ezuri. And if we get DT Marath online they can't beat us.
Other than that does anyone else feel 40 lands is a little much for the midrange? I'm wanting to cut down to like 38 and throw in a Flame Slash and Mizzium Mortars
I agree we can beat Ezuri easily, but do you think it's good againts other decks that depend on the general hitting the oppenent? Zur or Derevi for example. I was just rambling when I posted this, also, is Mikaelus worth a shot?
Now I don't have a ton of Duel experience but it seems like a bad 5 drop (4 to cast 1 to activate) against them. Since Derevi is ramping with us and is going to set us a turn behind by tapping a land/elf. Zur's tutor is the scary part, not exactly the hit. Plus he can tutor an Oblivion Ring if it's that much of an issue to him.
Both also have blue so you also have to weave it through counter magic. For it to be useful.
In either matchup I would rather just have ramp, removal, or a more aggressive creature.
In addition, having Gavony Township is a much more decent alternative. For Mikaeus, it's not that great as a early card... Maybe during mid game but most likely I would wished for something else.

Yeah, actually I'm going with SoFaF, Jitte, Collar and Clamp, but I was thinking about adding SoFaI for those pesky monoblue Thassa running around the net.
@Gabgabdevo: For Natural Order some players that I've observed online used it grab Avenger of Zendikar or even Craterhoof Behemoth,
