MTG Salvation

For those of you who play or know Scion he makes you have to put them into a graveyard but what if you want those creatures and just use him as a tutor. However in my Deck I use him as both to get creatures in the graveyard then return them.

You may want to add Crosis, the Purger and Yosei, the Morning Star. I say add Crosis, the Purger because he could be used to destroy someone's hand, similarly to Nicol Bolas. I say add Yosei, the Morning Star because if you had a way to reanimate him (which it looks like you wouldn't have a problem with that), you could continuously lock your opponent down.

Oh man I do love me some 5C reanimator! Scion is sick nasty good for setting up creatures in the yard and bashing real hard. I think you should focus a little more though on reaping a more thorough reanimator package.

I'd recommend Entomb which you could get out of Graveborn. Also, you could get Crosis, the Purger out of Graveborn

Wow thats nasty, If I do end up finding a Sheoldred, Whispering One and Sun Titan might want to add a Conspiracy in there as well to make all my creatures Dragons. I definetly will add some of these cards.

While I always tell you Conspiracy is better than Xenograft, you may also want to throw in a Xenograft.

Conspiracy certainly could be fun, especially if you add something like Yore-Tiller Nephilim to return something, probably even a Bladewing the Risen.

What about adding in Kaalia of the Vast?

Kaalia is a really good idea, and Conspiracy works in every Tribal that is considering slight deviation from it's core creature type. Nice recommendations.

Thanks for the help. I plan to buy the Kaalia Commander deck for the Mana-Charged Dragon, Malefagor, Bladewing, the Risen, and of course Kaalia. True Conviction, Darksteel Plate, Cover of Darkness will be sweet in here. Depending on the game a Novablast Worm will help. Please continue to recommend and comment.

Yeah, Heavenly Inferno definetly as some good pieces of loot for this deck of your's. Some stores offer the decks for cheaper, I got my copy of Heavenly Inferno for 25$ at the Exchange (it's a store that's on just about every military base in the US).

The combo is: Cephalid Illusionist + Nomads en kor or Shuko.
Then you use Dread Return to reanimate Sutured Ghoul (which becomes at least 50/50 trample) + Dragon breath.

So your supposed to fill your graveyard up through Cephalid Illusionist and eventually drop a gigantic Sutured Ghoul? That's not very combo-y, it just seems like a cool interaction (to me).

Hmm, this really just looks like a bad hermit list, and has little to do with the OP's deck.

As for the OP's deck, I'd like to see some more acceleration. Explosive Vegetation, Skyshroud Claim, Worn Powerstone and Coalition relic all come to mind.

Hahaha thanks man I've been told before to get the Yore-Tiller Nephillim but hadn't yet I was thinking about adding Form of the Dragon before coming to the conclusion of Lava Axe will kill me.

Y U NO HA Bladewing the Risen?

More reanimation, and if you reanimate this guy into reanimating a Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund you can swing for at least 11 damage. The Signets are good for ramp, and if you got some mid-range budget, go for Gilded Lotus since there's lots of multicolored action going on.

Hey guys just added a Harmonize, a Quicksilver Gargantuan, Wild Pair, and Oros, the Avenger. Gilded Lotus adds 3 mana of one color to your mana pool.

If you want a really quick, easy way to win just add in Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon. With 4 mana you can win in one swing.

1. You have Scion of the Ur-Dragon in play.

2. You activate the Scion's ability searching for Moltensteel Dragon.

3. You pay 12 life giving Scion +6/+0.

4. You activate the Scion's ability searching for Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon.

5. At this point, you have a Scion of the Ur-Dragon who is a copy of a 10/4 Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon.

Holy cow that's pretty great man however most of the time I will have to deal with Grounded or something. Yesterday was free comic book day and it was either that or Consecrated Sphinx for Niv-Mizzet and I choose the Sphinx.

And as for the Skithiryx combo, I thought you need to drop 21 poison counters in order to defeat an opponent in Commander?

No poison is 10, commander damage dealt to a player is 21. Here are some cards I want to add and haven't done it (or don't have the money for)

I need a Thundermaw Hellkite as well as a Furyborn Hellkite. Man I wish I had some money to hit the packs.

Replaced Wild Pair with the Spider Queen, figured I could have a constant reanimate with out the life part.
