This deck runs into problems when it can't find a token spell or draw spell.
yup... that is what i feel about this deck after playing a little. Saproling Symbiosis after a Wrath effect is not spectacular.
So is Spontaneous Generation without cards in hand.
If only there were a spell which goes:
Saprolings!! XG
Instant
Put X 1/1 green Saproling creature tokens onto the battlefield.
Nonetheless, it's still a very fun deck to play with =)
Speaking about new cards, ROE seem to contain some really nice cards for green.
For example, Emrakul, Realms Unchartered and this card:
Gelatinous Genesis XXG
Sorcery
Put X X/X green Ooze creature tokens onto the battlefield.
Thanks for making the Wort Primer, I've been playing this general for about 1.5 years and She is indeed quite powerful.
For you token strategy, I might suggest Dragonmaster Outcast as a cheap token producer that demands attention, taking the heat off Wort. I would also suggest Ant Queen.
I wonder if you,ve considered going the burn route. I found it more effective than the token route in 1 v 1. If you guys are willing to have multiple Wort strategies in the same primer, I can post my list
Would cut the lesser burn spells like Flame Javelin and Magma Jet, as they can't remove the creatures you really want to kill. Other than that, your deck seems decent for multiplayer. Would probably add more instants and sorceries that says omph when played. Crush of Wurms is real fun in multiplayer Regal Force and Avenger of Zendikar are good on their own, but broken together. Hope that helps, if you'd like more feedback i recommend you post your list in the multiplayer subforum.
The list is very much geared to 1v1. The smaller burn spells are quite useful against problematic creatures, and especially useful for extra abilities like Scry. If anyone is interested in card choice explanations, I will provide them.
I've been messing with this deck, and it's a pretty fun list to sleeve up I have to admit. Not to mention the number of group games it mystiously wins because I sit down at a table and everybody says... "Oh your general's Wort?" with a somewhat disdainfully look in their eyes, so I get ignored a lot. And the look on their faces when I win... priceless! Thanks for the list Hephlathio.
That aside, I figured I'd offer up Orcish Lumberjack as a possible improvement in place of Arbor Elf, Llanowar Elf or Fyndhorn Elves (I run it in place of Arbor myself). The card single handedly enables a turn 3 Wort, at the cost of but a forest.
The other deviation I run from you list is a minor one Land Grant in place of a forest for it's free ability to tutor up Stomping Ground or Taiga.

Many thanks for the feedback. I would enjoy the underdog status for as long as you can, because in my playgroup the amount of hate i meet is incredible. I have showed them again and again that enough mana, or untapping with wort wins me the game, so they make sure I have none of them
On the cards you suggested, I'm not sure about that lumberjack, as the deck don't hit red t1 consistently. Land Grant may be put in however in place for a land, but there are two problems i see with it:
1. You give them valuable information on the cards in your hand. Especially bad in multiplayer.
2. If you play against mono-blue and show a hand without land they might be a little tempted to counter it
Will be looking into both though. If only Land Grant fetched any land
i 'm afraid of putting the Eldrazi in coz of Bribery, do U have any good solution to this?
Just my 2 cents~
Cheers!
Hi Stack Together
Yeah, Awakening Zone is definatly a card that I would add to the deck, for the reasons you explained. I haven't tested it though, and might be wrong. Still don't think the altar is the right card to remove though. Joraga Treespeaker I'm testing atm, and so far it's been good. T3 Primal Command is almost win on the spot
Emrakul I would not add, in this deck a card like Crush of Wurms is better in almost every way. Would rather have another x-burn though. All is Dust is probably weaker than Oblivion Stone in this deck, and none of them should be played, since if both players get to build up their board without disruption we will not lose to anyone.
oh... i guess the best way against Bribery is to not play fatties~
But most of the time, when my opponent manage to develop the board with creatures... or maybe a 4th-5th turn Bribery on Avenger of Zendikar i'm not able to turn the table again~
i also have problem with Generals that Fly and/or Trample

Of course, my deck isn't as optimise as yours
Just one thing, do you play this deck as a combo deck? Because I normally never have problems beating a creature-centered general. Bribery is rough though.
Is there any sort of consensus as to the best token producers for this deck slash the right number of token generators? I recently sleeved up Wort with great success, but I find myself reluctant to play some of my token producers because they don't seem to pack enough punch.
Which brings me to 10 token producers. Are there any obvious ones I'm missing? The cards I'm less certain about are EtW and Cobra Trap, do I run enough to just cut them if they prove lackluster or should I stay at 10?
I really like Artifact Mutation, as it fills two roles. You have a target in 90 % of the cases you draw it, while it has the potential to wreck some decks. Garruk produces tokens from time to time as well, and Saproling Symbiosis is pretty good conspired or not conspired. Apart from that, you run the essential ones.
Here's my list and i would admit it's pretty sub-par compared to yours =D
and i'm still in the process of getting some card hehe~ (Can't find Skyshroud's Claim!! >.<)
Anyway, now that's there's a banning on Channel and Rofellos, i guess U could fit Awakening Zone and Joraga Treespeaker to your list =)
On the topic of token producer, Hunting Triad is quite good too...
1 game, i managed to leveled up my Joraga Treespeaker to Level 5 it was left uncheck and the Hunting Triad just win me the game =P
I actually have problem with Flying and/or Trampling Creature since the token can't chump block them well... =(
Let's start with your list. The major issue you got with it is that you have waay too few ways to combo off your tokens. If you get to add cards like Ashnod's Altar and Collective Unconcious you will have more consistent and faster wins.
Hunting Triad is one of the token producers that almost make it into the deck, but it unfortunatly does to little on it's own, lowering our threat density. It's a fine card to run however.
Afaik Rofellos is not banned as a single in 1v1, can someone enlighten me?
Channel will be taken out, and I will also have to make room for Cultivate and maybe the new green titan from m11. Gaea's Revenge also seems sweet, might be good if mono-blue runs rampant. Currently testing Joraga Treespeaker in for Sakura Tribe-Elder.
Almost every time I play this deck I win through generating a ton of tokens, playing something like Collective Unconscious or Slate of Ancestry to draw 20+ cards (Tooth and Nail can also do both of these at the same time via Avenger of Zendikar and Regal Force). Within those 20 or so cards is a way to keep drawing, untap lands / squeeze mana out of tokens (Earthcraft or one of the Alters) until you find Banefire or Goblin Bombardment, which should be lethal after all these antics. Banefire can be conspired, so even if you can only get 15-20 mana, you should still be able to eliminate someone.
How have you been winning? Tokens always seem too vulnerable to wipes and such to wait and swing, so I just try to go balls deep and win the turn they start coming out . . .

2nd Turn: Forest, Channel, Emrakul, the Aeons Torn =)
I would add Gelatinous Genesis for more token producing...
Maybe Awakening Zone, but 0/1 colorless Eldrazi Spawn creature token is kind of bad since we can't conspire, nor interact with Regal Force
but they still add 1 colourless mana for accel though... gotta do some test with them 1st
The Gelantinous XXG card will not make the cut, too few tokens for the mana.
One card that will make it 100% no questions asked is
Joraga Treespeaker
A 1 drop that accels us to 5 mana t3 (Keep in mind her first level up is "free") is nothing to scoff at.

As for ROE. I'm going to agree with Awakening Zone. That card seems perfect for the deck. I'd probably take Ant Queen out for it.

Have U tried any new cards into the deck?
i have replaced Phyrexian Altar with Awakening Zone and it is working quite well~
it serve as accleration as well as providing a constant supply of tokens~
Great for card like Saproling Symbiosis
Other cards i have considered are:
i 'm afraid of putting the Eldrazi in coz of Bribery, do U have any good solution to this?
Just my 2 cents~

Just one thing, do you play this deck as a combo deck? Because I normally never have problems beating a creature-centered general. Bribery is rough though.
but my preference would be hand with some mana acceleration, land-d and making some tokens and some ways to draw cards
i usually run out Wort when i have spells to Conspire and enough mana to do it the same turn. Not sure if this is the correct play though
i have won games just by producing token and doing the beatdown too
I'm using the following:
Bestial Menace - Meta Choice: Doesn't give the numbers of others but the 3/3 and 2/2 bodies help the tokens survive Goblin Sharpshooter, which has recently appeared in my meta and straight hoses my tokens
Deranged Hermit
Beacon of Creation
Spontaneous Generation
Avenger of Zendikar
Cobra Trap
Squirrel Nest
Empty the Warrens - A recent addition, haven't seen it in action yet
Siege-Gang Commander
One Dozen Eyes
Which brings me to 10 token producers. Are there any obvious ones I'm missing? The cards I'm less certain about are EtW and Cobra Trap, do I run enough to just cut them if they prove lackluster or should I stay at 10?
