That's 30 cuts right there. You could probably stand to lose a few more fatties (remember, you have at least 4 solid ways to tutor them up). You could also use a few more answer cards -- Return to Dust, Hallowed Burial, Final Judgment, and Gleeful Sabotage all come to mind.
Really? It seems tailored to save Teeg before I can otherwise protect him. Opening a game with it in hand can give him a lot more time on the field, it seems.

Solid advice as well.
Run every Rampant Growth effect you can find in green (there's a lot) I always thought a Gaddock Teeg build would be well suited to tokens. (Doubling Season, Tolsimir Wolfblood Martial Coup, and all the other token producers ((there's a lot of those too in the colors.))) magiccards.info search results
I can find better uses for Teeg as well - but since Rofellos is banned as a general and we want to run beasties, he's one of the best. We also have him in foil.
Me and a good pal who share cards are in the process of getting into EDH. My own deck, The Cycles of Magic, is nearing completion and so we've moved on to my buddy's.
Since we're mostly control and combo players we wanted to go in a different direction. We both thought the idea of mono-green stompers sounded pretty cool, so we started researching.
The sheer quantity of quality beasties completely overwhelmed us. We'd picked Gaddock Teeg as our general because we own a foil, and the strength of big green baddies and green/white bombs took us by surprise.
We usually have no problem cutting away cards, but this time, it's troubling us. The deck really needs focus trimming, and since neither of us have prior experience in EDH, we'd really like some help from the community.
Below is the, for now, huge deck (142 cards). Launch away with constructive criticism:

volyova has the right of it, everything he suggested are things i would have suggested.
also, you could get rid of plated slagwurm, leatherback baloth, and mossbridge troll. armadillo cloak and shield of the oversoul can go, also, because they will end up being card disadvantage. rancor can stay, cause it is reusable.
also, you have saffi erikksdotter and karmic guide in there, add reveillark, a sac outlet, and survival of the fittest, and you've got a way to wipe out your opponents noncreature permanents infinitely.
Good idea. Not really sure why I forgot Survival of the Fittest - it should have been in there!
i'm pretty sure rofellos isn't banned.
It's banned at my local store, at least, which is where we'll be playing tourney's
Is he banned because your store has their own weird banned list, or banned because they use the official EDH Ruling Council ban list? If it's the latter, the store is probably just out of date. Rofellos was officially unbanned half a year ago.
The problem with defining [EDH] by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.

I'm not really sure. We've been slinging cardboard at the kitchen-table for 10 years now, but we've signed up for next years Magic Cruise, so we decided to play some more tournaments. We just recently participated in some events at the local store, and recieved the ban-list for their EDH.
It says Rofellos, among others, are banned. I'll be sure to ask why.

its prob just an out of date list. like tedv said, he's been unbanned a long time. that doesn't make him any less annoying as a general. my buddy plays him, and we all go by the current banned list at my local store.
could also just be your playgroup's own house rules.
this is the most recent list i found, on a quick search: banned list

I've updated the deck (in the first post). Still 119 cards. Added the sweepers (as well as Wrath of God and Day of Judgment - I'm pretty sure those are more solid in my deck), the enchantment/artifact hate as well as a Sol Ring, and an Armilliary Sphere.
Doubleposting because of update (as per forum rules).
I've remove some more fat, and I now need advice on the following:
1) As I have no prior experience in EDH, how does my manabase look? 40 lands and 74 spells - I should probably cut some lands, right? General advise on manabase in EDH is also welcome.
2) I still need to cut 14 cards. The fat I have right now all seems pretty awesome, so I'm in doubt as to what I should cut. I have a lot of sweepers, but that seems practical since I have few ways to fetch them.
3) It's still okay to suggest additions, if something would be better than what I have now.
[b]General question: Will I be able to cast Wurmcalling with Gaddock Teeg out? If not it should probably go. It's pretty awesome though, so I'm not sure.
I've cut only fat, except for a Return to Dust which I substituted for an Indrik Stomphowler. Can't cast Return to Dust with Teeg out.

Critique away!
No, you cannot cast Wurmcalling if you have Gaddock Teeg out. No noncreature spells with X in their mana costs can't be cast. Wurmcalling has a X in the mana cost.
---
I don't know if you're worried about fixing for certain spells but a few lands come to mind:
Brushland and Horizon Canopy fix your mana by tapping for either color (the 1 ping isn't bad and Horizon Canopy replaces itself late game if you draw it by allowing you to draw a card). Brushland also taps for one colorless.
Wooded Bastion allows you to turn a hand that may have no white sources (or no green sources) into a hand that does. Filterlands have worked wonders for me in three color decks so I'm not sure how good they are with two color decks.
As far as the running too many lands thing goes, you're running 40 lands but you're also running 2 mana producers (Sol Ring and Darksteel Ingot). I usually say 36-38 mana "producers" is the way to go. If you end up running the three lands I suggested, I'd go with dropping 3 plains, 2 forest. If not, you can just drop a plains and a forest.
---
As far as things you can cut, these are the things I'd look into: Khalni Hydra - It's an 8/8 trampler for 8 that can potentially cost less. However, while he does fit the heavy hitter theme I think that his casting cost could be a little troublesome. You already pack a pretty heavy punch but this is somewhat risky to me and doesn't offer quite the benefit that Primalcrux does.
Skullclamp - Skullclamp is a GREAT card but I don't know what you'd actually abuse it with in this deck. Maybe I'm just missing it or something. I know you've got the sac outlets but I just feel this is a little excessive and isn't as necessary. It also connects with the next card I'll suggest -
Ant Queen - I think it's a great card but you won't be abusing her to make 10+ tokens a turn like some decks. I think that it's taking up a slot that you probably don't need. If you drop Khalni Hydra, Ant Queen loses most of her appeal to me.
Collective Unconcious - This is a very temperamental card in my opinion - if you over extend and get wrathed you may draw 1/2 cards at most with this. If you're interested in some guaranteed card draw, I'd go with Harmonize.
---
Meh, this is all personal opinion and I don't really know how the deck runs. I honestly don't know what I'd cut but those are the cards that stuck out to me.
EDIT: You can also run fetches. They grab your Savannah and Temple Garden. They also remove a land from the deck later in the game (and yes, I know this has been proven to only slightly alter your draws but it's still something). Windswept Heath, Misty Rainforest, Arid Mesa and etc.

As for your cut-suggestions: Thanks! I agree with most of it, actually. Especially cutting Collective Unsconcious for Harmonize. I'm not sure about skullclamp though. However you spin it, its two cards for you if your dude dies, and for a very low mana-cost. Even though I'm not able to abuse it, it still seems pretty good in this deck.

-Argothian Wurm unimpressive body, absolutely brutal drawback
-Baneslayer Angel Trade it for some [CARD]Sol Ring[CARD]s or something, this guy is underwhelming in EDH.
-Elvish Aberration, Cloudthresher, Kalonian Behemoth, Vagrant Plowbeasts, Mul Daya Channelers -- more unimpressive/boring fat.
-all your mana elves -- they're just going to die to the first sweeper, use mana artifacts or land search instead.

-Greater Auramancy, Sterling Grove -- Not enough enchantments to make these worth it.
