This is a Captain Sisay paradox engine deck.
Looking for some input on some cards that you feel would be better suited or replaced.
Main wincon is paradox engine + legendary rocks + Bow of Nylea + bontu's monument + mikeaus, the lunarch/Saffi Eriksdotter
Everything in the combo can be tutored by Sisay.
The rest of the deck is to stop opponents from interacting with the deck and locking them down or tutoring to hate to stop their plans from progressing.
I recognize that paradox sisay is a very glass cannon and doesnt hold compared to U/x paradox decks but I enjoy playing GW which is why I built it.
Currently testing:
- Veil of Summer to replace Idyllic Tutor (veil provides protection when you start to combo and nets you a card if the opponent cast a u/b spell. Can be pitched if you need the card and not the protection)
Cards that i will probably be testing/adding when i get my hands on them
1 Giver of Runes
1 Mother of Runes
2 Sylvan Safekeeper
Forces people to use removal on these cards before they can use removal on combo/stax creatures
1 Nature's Claim
3 Beast Within
5 Urza's Ruinous Blast
nature's claim will probably replace krosan grip as while split second is nice, i think for this deck it is better to use the 1 cmc removal spell
KotR removed for Grand Abolisher. KotR is cut for more protection as Abolisher is Dosan #2. *** replaced with Ouphe. It is rare that a board wipe is required in the format as most of the time its a specific creature that is problematic. Ouphe is Stony Silence on a stick and is redundancy. Okina replaced with Bountiful Promenade for further colour fixing.
Reki and Nykthos both feel too slow for the deck. Replacing Nykthos with Canopy will assist in fixing mana and if not needed will draw a card. Force of vigor to remove problematic enchantments and artifacts.
Check out this list here for some additional inspiration. There's a way where you can infinitely recycle Beast Within to destroy all opposing permanents and clear the board with Urza's Ruinous Blast, allowing you to win with creatures beats. I personally like the Bontu's Monument line a bit better, but this decklist is from a set of deckbuilders I greatly respect.
The issue i have with skyship weatherlight is that if it gets removed then the cards exiled are gone. While it can be infinite, unlike the bontu + mikeus/saffi combo, this card uses so many more cards which starts to make it less and less reliable.
I've tested the removal combo, however it requires the paradox engine which is still part of the main wincon. Additionally by using the beast within to clear board, I also gave my enemy a boatload of 3/3 to go aggro with.
so after playing around with a new playgroup for a bit, ive found that although reki may feel great for the long slog where we can still reliably tutor legends to feed him, this almost never happens and i just get an extra draw every few turns. this has made me question the usefulness he brings to the table.
after looking at other cards that i could sub in to replace him, i believe that the most appropriate replacement is the force of vigor. it allows me to be more proactive when dealing with problematic enchantments and artifacts which lurk around cEDH. while it isn't force of negation's level of responses, at least it allows me to have an element of surprise against other decks which dont expect the free removal spell. Holding a mana-dork in later stages of the game allows for the easy and "free" cast.
Additionally i replaced nykthos with a horizon canopy because i dont want to try and drag games long enough for nykthos to become relavant.
I'm surprised you refer to it as a 'slower and inconsistent' paradox deck. Your decklist is awesome, it utilizes a tutor general which makes it consistent, and I'm guessing it typically goes infinite on what...turn 4 usually? Maybe turn 5 on a bad day? And that's with stax pieces to slow your opponents. I've been playtesting my new Urza deck that's tuned up to be as efficient as possible, and sisay beats it most of the time.
I'm surprised you don't have seton, krosan protector in there. He taps for green with haste, and makes rishkar do the same.
I find everyone saves their hate for sisay so one card that's been invaluable to me is grand abolisher.
The things that bother me about this deck are the dead draws and the combo required to win is long and tedious. I've decided I'll get rid of the dead-draw combo pieces (bow, bontu, mikaeus, and maybe selvala) and replace with stuff to make the deck more efficient. It's fun having kamahl, fist of krosa (who plays well with seton btw) and elesh norn on the board.
i may try seton since he has psuedo haste and good call on the abolisher as dosan #2.
probably gonna rewrite that sentence in the opening there as it isnt so much its slow but compared to decks that have blue and black, they are much more resilient where as sisay is just glass cannon.

Seton is just a big ball of awesomeness in the deck. Once you have paradox in play, my chain is typically -> mox -> mox -> seton (or dosan) -> rishkar -> (now i have 4 things making mana, plus mana rocks) -> and then some smaller legends so I generate more mana, followed by kamahl (who taps for mana thanks to seton) and elesh norn which soon ends the game with big overruns or I pick off everyone's lands. I don't feel that sisay is a glass cannon at all. I also have a living plane in my deck which is pricey but fun, and nasty in conjuction with linvala or elesh norn, plus it makes gaea's cradle ridiculous. My deck is basically like yours, except with a few less stax cards and a few more wincons.
welp the deck's combo is now useless as the main combo key has been banned. im seeing how i could retool this deck to be a stax deck although im probably going to scavenge this deck to change my tatyova into cEDH

I've been testing the shaman of the forgotten hunt as an alternate win condition. Its hard to activate outside using it in conjunction with Elesh Norn.
