We know that in 1v1 games, the players roll a die/toss a coin/do some other randomness to determine who goes/draws first. Is there a similar concept available for multiplayer pods? I have a Captain Sisay deck which runs Gemstone Caverns, so dependent on hand, I have a vested interest in not going first most games. What's the procedure when I do win priority in that instance...pass to my right/left? Or is it dependent on local playgroups?

First, you choose whether to go first before looking at your hand. Second, I am not sure there is a set procedure for this. At least, none that I can find in the CR. The way the CR is written is that the players decide on a way to determine the starting player so your group can just say the high roll chooses the starting player if you want.
The fact that you need to decide before you know if you have a Gemstone Caverns in hand though probably suggests this is going to be a non-issue.
Something about my writing seems to continue suggesting that I do things I don't...>.<
To clarify, I would normally(90% of the time) decide when running my Sisay deck that I would NOT go first period(before looking at hand). THEN, depending on my hand, since I have the choice, I would determine whether it's worth putting Caverns down and exiling a card from my hand.
Naturally, if I pick up my hand after going first and see the Caverns there, I'm flubbed on that play.
My specific question is, if I DO roll high/whatever while playing Sisay, is there anything I can do to pass it, as I would likely not want to go first regardless?
As mentioned, this really comes down to your group. The CR does not state "winner of a random method goes first". Instead, it says:
103.2. After the decks have been shuffled, the players determine which one of them will choose who takes the first turn. In the first game of a match (including a single-game match), the players may use any mutually agreeable method (flipping a coin, rolling dice, etc.) to do so. In a match of several games, the loser of the previous game chooses who takes the first turn. If the previous game was a draw, the player who made the choice in that game makes the choice in this game. The player chosen to take the first turn is the starting player. The game's default turn order begins with the starting player and proceeds clockwise.
So, the rule above suggests that a specific player makes a choice in who goes first, so it would seem that could extend to multiplayer where the winner of a roll just decides Player A goes first so they, as Player B, can go second.
There's certainly no precedent or support for this, but I'd rule that the choice passes to the player on your left.
I've always played that winner of the roll chooses who goes first, unless they've already looked at their opening hand in which case they go first by default. This is derived from the MTR:
2.2 Play/Draw Rule
For the first game of a match, the winner of a random method (such as a die roll or coin toss) chooses either to
play first or to play second. The winner must state this choice before looking at his or her hand. If the winner
states no choice, it is assumed that he or she is playing first. The player who plays first skips the draw step of his
or her first turn. This is referred to as the play/draw rule.
After each game in a match, the loser of that game decides whether to play first in the next game. They may wait
until after sideboarding to make the decision. If the game was a draw, the player who decided to play or draw at
the beginning of that game chooses.
After another time came up where I won the roll while playing Sisay, it was agreed that I could simply abdicate the choice to the next highest roller as long as I haven't looked at my hand. No problems since whenever I play Sisay(which is not that often...it's too tuned right now, lol).
Oh, and I had Gemstone Caverns in my hand that time, too. lol x 2
While there's definitely not a specific rule for multiplayer, I asked one of my rules guru friends. She said because there's nothing contravening the two-player rule that the winner of the roll *chooses* who goes first, she'd rule it that way for MP as well.
