Hello! I’ve started looking into a Xyris, the Writhing Storm edh deck. I wanted to (for once) make a little bit more of a budget friendly deck to avoid sticking a hole in my wallet. My general idea is to utilise instant speed buff and protection, some more card draw untill you have xyris and a few wheel cards. My other decks are kind of aggressive with cards that make me an immediate threat which causes me to get targeted in my play group a lot.I was hoping this deck might change that. I need some help and ideas about how this deck can improve or some general thoughts.

I want to add that I already have the ABUR lands and wheel of fortune so they don’t need to be switched out for cheaper options.
