This was my first commander deck, and was originally running unblockable equipments, I swapped the equipment out for cards that double Gishath's damage. Now, everybody hates my deck.
(Sorry about the rant)
Playing this, I expect to be focused most games. This deck can just explode and eat my opponents out of nowhere.
Half my play group is running infinite combo decks that can also just win out of nowhere, so I'm having a hard time understanding what the difference is and why nobody wants to play against specifically my deck.

People who run spellslinger combo decks see themselves as playing "smarter" decks. They feel bad for losing to a "big dumb ramp and smash" deck. They assume a standard beatdown deck should not be able to win against them.
If you're playing Gishath a lot they will probably just have to adjust their decks a bit: Propaganda, Blind Obedience, more Wraths, Fog
etc.

Your deck looks awesome and like a lot of fun. I am going to bookmark it and steal the idea for later.

"Whatever style you wish to play, be it fast and frenzied or slow and tactical, the surest way to defeat your opponent consistently is by dominating him or her in the war of card advantage." - Brian Wiseman, April 1996
Your deck seems fine, in fact t can be better tuned (And come on it just dino tribal. if they are whining about that they have their own issues to work out.
That said I do have one suggestion to make Remove Domri. there are much better cards to run. You are running the immortal sun which (while may not seem like much) can indeed ruin his only appeal. I would switch him out for Rhythm of the wild. (Simply due to teh fact that it offers more for the same cost. (Domri's static doesn't account for much as there are also better anthems out there)
I run Sarkhan the Masterless in my Dragon deck and yes i do run the immortal sun. But sarkhan's static more than makes up for it. If I play him and the sun is not out, great i can get a dragon. if the sun is out, great, you probably won;t be able to hit me if i have enough dragons out. When my dragon count begins hitting 10, 20, 50, 10000 your creatures are probably gonna die before they connect. (my actual count for most dragons out in a single game was well over 400. (I swear, glacial chasm is a pain.
Yeah that looks perfectly fine to me, you have none of the typical bugbears of EDH players. No land destruction no counterspells no hate enchantments no stacks of tutors.
It's definitely a them problem, See if you can improve their decks because I reckon you could get their decks to this level without much money at all.
I don't see anything wrong or degenerate about that deck either. You don't even run Congregation at dawn, which is the only card I could see catching flack in a deck like that if you're in a strict no tutors meta.
However, it might be worth checking your deck optimization with that of the rest of the table. You mentioned they run infinite combo decks, which is an interesting sign, but there're infinite combo decks and then there're infinite combo decks. If their decks just run a single 3-card infinite combo that they read about on the internet once, and the rest of the deck is random jank, then its an entirely different deck then if it runs 5-6 infinite combos and a full suite of tutors, enablers and cards that keep them alive until they play their combo.
That having been said, people that build decks around infinite combos shouldn't be complaining about a relatively fair beatdown deck like Gishath. There's a lot of ways that deck can be interacted with, all they have to do is play it.

ill consider it. although i'm leaning more towards taking out the immortal sun for it, as it's pretty rare that i actually draw it when i need it.

both actually. Though there's only 2 people running full blown infinite combo decks.
I have a food chain Prossh deck. the only person who complains is the guy who play Locust God storm. you can never please everybody so play what makes you happy
