A while ago I've built myself a Wort spellslinger deck and it's deck that I like to play. I love playing many spells a turn and I'm always on the lookout for more spellslinger decks. Similarly I have a Shu Yun(pump spells) and a Riku (copy spells) deck. We all know about how strong Izzet (Mizzix)and Grixis (Kess/Jeleva) are but I like to differ and pick less obvious colors/commanders.
Now I'm wondering what are more unconventional spellslinger colors/commanders? Are there strategies that do the same as spellslinger/storm?
Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
I have a Jori En Izzet tokens (list in my signature) cantrip deck that is kind of nontraditional. I don't run any infinite combos and win via combat (and some guttersnipe things) with it. Its also kind of odd in that its hard to make heavy cantrips work usually in commander.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
If you want an unconventional storm deck, then check out my Zacama, Primal Calamity primer for a Naya build WGR.
As @NoNeedToBragoBoutIt pointed out Will and Rowan Kenrith can also be used as a spellslinger deck. Check out my primer and specifically I do a section in card choices around a more instant and sorcery build with graveyard as a resource. This is in the "Alternative Planeswalker" section.
I'm gonna plug the commanders I've played and recommend Dralnu, Lich Lord as a strong suggestion. Don't be scared off by the first ability, it's not a major.
To comment on this, it does sort of bring us back to Arjun, cause while all the things that trigger off of casting spells into casting more spells are neat and rack up the storm count, Mindmoil is the undisputed champion of casting 10 spells in a row with your fingers crossed.

Zedruu: "This deck is not only able to go crazy - it also needs to do so."
Hard agree - Mindmoil is nuts in the right context. Does great things for Zedruu, does great things in my Yidris enchantress Vorthos build (jesus Toc, make the build more obscure, I dare you!).
My Arjun deck has a lot of cards that trigger from drawing spells - Niv Mizzets, Sphinx's Tutelage, Psychosis Crawler, The Locust God, etc. The rest of the deck is a mix of counters, draw and bounce spells, pretty much.
Do not play the above mentioned cards where you double all of your draws - you will deck out by accident.

Cheers!
The main problem is that you can play a large number of commanders as spellslingers, but very few actively reward you for doing so.
WBG Karador, Ghost Chieftain
B Toshiro Umezawa
BG Pharika, God of Affliction - Necromancy and Politics
WWW The Church of Heliod
WBR Zurgo, Helmsmasher
RG Wort, the Raidmother
UBR Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge
UG Vorel of the Hull Clade
Arjun, the Shifting Flame munches through your deck (while rearranging it) like it's nothing.
God-Eternal Kefnet is weird since you cast copies of spells you draw.
Hallar, the Firefletcher is unconventional due to the specifics of the spells you should aim to cast.
Jhoira of the Ghitu is a rather common sight but unconventional in the way she casts spells, obviously.
Kaho, Minamo Historian requires a more careful approach, but certainly is one of a kind.
Niv-Mizzet Reborn is a great charm- and commandslinger.
Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper is absolutely unusual and utilizes so many cards you won't see anywhere else.
Ramos, Dragon Engine can spiral out of control quite easily.
Rashmi, Eternities Crafter loves instants and casting them for free.
Will Kenrith (+ Rowan Kenrith) and his - ability lends himself for a storm build.
Zada, Hedron Grinder, because there's no complete Spellslinger list without this wonderful abomination.
Also, there are several conventional ones that haven't been mentioned yet:

Zedruu, the Greathearted is a possibility too - tstorm's list here is iconic, fun to play and absolutely nuts.

I went with a tiny-artifact Arjun deck, to rapidly recast spells regardless color.

Possibility Storm works absurdely well in Zada, Hedron Grinder decks!
Say you cast Crimson Wisps, Zada, Hedron Grinder copies it for all of your creatures, then Possibility Storm kicks in, exiles the original Crimson Wisps and digs for a second spell.
Let's assume you hit Invigorated Rampage off it. Due to Possibility Storm casting the second spell you can aim it at Zada, Hedron Grinder which in return copies it for all your creatures...
In this case for a mere R with X creatures (incl. you commander) you'd get X cards, +4*X possible damage, haste and trample...
Damn, i should propably run my copy of it in there, too.
