I had this happen with the combo of enchanted evening and sphere of safety along with a few other cards when I had a dedicated pillowfort deck....but it was a year or so ago and a lot has changed in our play group so I may rebuild it this summer.
I rather enjoy playing stax every once in a while, it forces a shift in gameplay that normally is not there and makes people rethink things. If they can not handle that, just cast a Death Cloud and laugh anyways.
I have a jhoira deck that can constantly win turn 1 and seldom. Has game last over 4 turns.
It is not fun for them or me. So if I pull it out it is to win a game fast and let off a bit of stress.
Also, how you win is important too. It sounds like your friends don't enjoy being slowly ground to a find powder after being completely locked out of the game with a winter orb. I'm unsure of if that's because you've locked them out of the game, or because you've locked them out of the game and then take forever to actually end the game. You should figure this thing out. For example, (in my opinion) casting obliterate in edh isn't ok. Casting obliterate while you control Avacyn, Angel of Hope is ok. One of those grinds the game to a halt, one kills everyone in less than 5 minutes.
I know it isn't directly related to the subject but your comment reminded me of a situation I encountered. Someone casted Jokulhaups with an Avacyn, Angel of Hope on board, obviously going for the win. I also didn't consider it a bad play, but here's the deal: I had one white mana available and a Swords to Plowshares in hand. I had the choice of either letting him win, or exile Avacyn and make the game go on for who knows how much longer. I ended up doing nothing as I felt I would have been "that guy". What do you all think of that kind of situation?

LOL — I'd have Sworded the Avacyn and let Mr. Jokulhaups eat crow. Then I'd have proposed we simply end the game as a draw and start another.
I def agree. Never hold back. If I were avacyn player I'd feel like I didn't really deserve the win anyway, if you had the answer and just didn't play it.

Well, I guess I'll do it next time then ^^'

If you play Mogis, God of Slaughter, you should embrace the "SLAUGHTER" part of your commander and make your opponents suffer while you enjoy. And thanks for the Panharmonicon idea, I didn't even thought about it, my playgroup will hate me even more.
I just don´t understand the fun in building combo decks where you basically win on turn 4 from an infinite combo. I thought we were playing and having fun, not this kind of "Haha i lock you out, byeeeeeeeee"

I have no infinite combos in this deck.
If I have enough of my key cards in play I can win the game, but definitely not turn 4. More like turn 8 at the earliest.
I was hoping for constructive feedback (and I got a lot of it). I am not sure what you were aiming to do with your post.
Yeah one of my friends at my locals had a similar problem with his 5 Color Superfriends deck which went from being Ramos, Dragon Engine to Niv-Mizzet Reborn. Strangely enough his deck is so consistent and synergistic with everything he runs that he ends up winning on Turn 5 or 6, maybe Turn 10 or 11 at the latest without ever needing to cast his Commander from the Command Zone. He managed to tech in Ajani Vengeant to deal with Green ramp decks with his -7, uses Liliana, Defiant Necromancer's -8 to steal creatures with Liliana, Dreadhorde General's -9 while drawing a ton of cards, activates Gilder Bairn with either Kiora, Master of the Depths' +1 or Estrid, the Masked's +2, among other shenanigans.
My Shadowborn Athreos deck (technically JLK's) also proved to be too unfun for my opponents to play against when I manage to go off with Thrumming Stone getting one Shadowborn Apostle after another which I then sac with Athreos, God of Passage on the battlefield to drain life while getting Demons onto the battlefield with Bolas's Citadel as an alternate wincon. I recently swapped Angel of Glory's Rise for Magister of Worth to add more of a group hug element to the deck which I haven't gotten to go off yet. If I manage to blink her with Fiend Hunter, Kaya, Ghost Assassin's 0 ability, or Astral Slide by cycling cards my opponents either have me get back my Shadowborn Apostles or blow up the board, their call.

This is kinda happening with my Jalira, Master Polymorphist and Captain Sisay decks that seem to always win via Annihilating Eldrazi (as opposed to my Karn, Silver Golem and Bosh, Iron Golem decks that don't tutor them up), so I'm actively moving them out and going with different win-cons. This way, the deck is salvaged and it will just have a different feel to it (avoiding the sarcastic "Hmm, look at that. Another Eldrazi. How exciting and new..." My unhealthy love of creatures with Annihilator is well documented.)
The one deck that was un-salvageable was my Gran Arbiter Agustin IV "Tax Everything" deck (list can be found here), which was far from "perfect" but it was well on its way to being the kind of deck that I envisioned. The only problem was that the deck I envisioned didn't play out the way I envisioned...
I have to retool my Jhoira deck for reasons akin to the OP. It's either storm out by t5 or flop around and it's gotten to where I only bring it out to fight off pubstompers. I just wanna play a hill giant that draws cards, not hate.

I also only bring my Jhiora deck in response to things like five color gods or super friends, otherwise it's one of my less powerful decks like my voltron or my precon dragons.
