I run a Merieke Ri Berit deck, and as expected, I run all sorts of effects that allow me to abuse her tap ability, i.e. Aphetto Alchemist, Illusionist's Bracers, Rings of Brighthearth, etc. I also run plenty of creatures that benefit from the same enablers, i.e. Arcanis the Omnipotent, Bloodline Keeper, Adarkar Valkyrie, etc. I'm thinking of running Cao Cao, but I'm worried that it's too mean. With all of the enablers, I can decimate hands in a single turn, but I may not win immediately after, so I'm wondering if that could create the kind of board stalls and feel-bads as say, MLD.
Thoughts?

Can you name all of the creature types with at least 20 cards? Try my Sporcle Quiz! Last Updated: 6/29/20 (Core Set 2021).
Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Yeah it's no where near as bad as MLD. At least they can still play. Of course there's always the Build Vicious; Play Friendly philosophy. have it in the deck. Only play it if there's a good reason.

Well, they're guaranteed one card. Plus, discard's been nerfed for some time now.
Just remember that Cao Cao is pronounced tsao tsao.
