The guy who runs commander night at my LGS, said that he feels infinite combos are against the "spirit of EDH" and too "Competitive", yet he is fine playing dual lands, moxes, and playing turn 5 win agro decks. So I have no idea what to play, I typically always play combo/control, its my thing, I dont use crazy cards, some of my decks are even pauper.
I need suggestions, as competitive as possible, but no infiniate combos, and it has to be able to handle a large amount of creatures coming at me.
Dual lands and the legal moxen are all less powerful than the sol ring every schlub is running but ok.
Are you playing 1v1? Aggro isn't generally very good in multiplayer.
Anyway seems pretty simple, I'd just make a non-combo control deck. There are tons of ways to win without going infinite.
EDIT: hell, you've already got derevi in your sig. Just make a derevi stax deck. Preeetty simple.
Also, maybe I'm missing something, but your decks don't look anything close to pauper. I'm seeing survival of the fittest, tooth and nail, gaea's cradle, and (wow shocker) a bunch of moxen. So I'm really confused how you're pulling the victim card on this situation. Not that combo is necessarily evil (it's not evil - it's just boring) but your characterization of this disagreement seems absurd to me, given the power level of your decks. I can totally see why someone playing an aggro deck would find your decks annoying to play against, because he'd almost certainly be at a huge disadvantage.
EDIT EDIT: Ok, glissa is pauper (sort of, pretty sure you're supposed to use an uncommon commander for PDH unless they've changed the rules recently but w/e). But given that one doesn't have any serious combos I'm pretty sure that's not that one he's complaining about. And all your other lists are pretty competitive looking and even partially foiled.
I have not changed my sig in years, it does not reflect my current decks. The issue is I need to find a deck that wins without combo, so either voltron, or mass creatures, or maybe control, but control without combo is a very grindy deck.
any good ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Aggressive, competitive and no infinites? Seems that you want to be playing Edric, Spymaster of Trest. Evasive 1 drops, counterspells, a couple each of extra turns spells, overruns and recursion and you're set. It's also pretty cheap to put together - things like Force of Will and Mox Diamond are very nice to have, but not by any means necessary. You probably wont have that many tools for dealing with other people swinging at you, but you don't really need them, as there's very little that can outrace an Edric deck outside of combo, and you've got countermagic to deal with any overwhelming threats.
There's a good Primer over in the multiplayer decklist forum.
More than anything, you need cards which deal with aggro's biggest problem, card disadvantage. I like Grave Pact and friends. I like Warsstorm Surge to turn every creature into a 187. (And of course, native 187 abilities are also nice.) I like Mentor of the Meek and Skullclamp to draw off small creatures. I like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Blood Artist and friends, and anything with extort to deal with aggro's other big weakness in multiplayer, the "What now?" problem. ("I killed one opponent, what now?") And just be aware that Panharmonicon, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and Deranged Hermit does 36 damage to all opponents. Just for future lulz.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Aggro? You want Edgar Markov or Xenagos, God of Revels. Both are strong and very quick out of the gates. I've had some pretty quick wins with my Nissa, Vastwood Seer deck too, but it's by no means aggro - sometimes the stars just align perfectly. It's more of a control/toolbox build, but it can do cool things and it's a blast to play.
For a reasonably cheap build though, Edgar is your guy. You want the cheapest nastiest low cost (in every sense) vampires you can get, which makes it easy to build and relatively cheap to do so as well. My list is closely aligned with ISBPathfinder's as linked above, if you're interested in Mardu aggro, I'd give ISB's list a look.
Be mean and play Krenko, Mob Boss. He’s fantastic. Goblin tribal aggro. My Krenko deck wiped a table of 4 vs. Bennie Smith on turn 5 at the first SCGCon, Without even being fully tuned.
Most of the best Aggro commanders have been mentioned. I'll mention Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist who, Cat Tribal or not, can swiftly end games on the backs of Nacatl War-Pride, equipped trampling beasties, and other nonsense.

The exalted double strike guy, or the infect dragon, infect works with exalted guy aswell , give him infect or attack with infect creatures, pump and double strike
or just any voltron with wipes and totem armor, like uril?
To stop aggro consider a pillow fort style deck? You could run it in Jesaki colours and have Numot, the Devastator at the helm.
Also include some golden options such as stony silence to stax against the opponent. The deck can run a variety of really efficient wrath's, card draw, removal etc.
The idea is just spew them all on the board, attack all you can, and constantly recur them, draw up to 7 every turn, keep the pressure up.
If you can't get enough 1-damage hitters in for the kill, then blood chief ascension can help finish players off by milling players with damage.
On a more serious note, i have a zedruu the greathearted aura-based aggro deck - manages to one-shot people out of nowhere. You also donate all your auras that you enchant zedruu with to your opponents, so you can gain life and draw more fuel for the next turn (also, you can do some weird things like giving bravado to your opponent who plays tonnes of tokens.. or thunderous might to that mono red player).
I need suggestions, as competitive as possible, but no infiniate combos, and it has to be able to handle a large amount of creatures coming at me.
Thanks for any ideas.
