Im thinking running a commander deck idea about changeing creature types like a changleing and token deck. It will have alot legendarys like kranko mob boss. Its boardwipe will be of cards that kill all none lets say dragon type ect. Im wondering do you think joda commander be good choice?. Im not looken for a full changeling deck im thinking of a hard hitting token mill type with coat of arms. Hope all this make sense
I am not sure what you mean by "...hard hitting token mill type...". Are you saying you want to go wide with tokens but also be able to mill (ie, have opponents put the top card(s) of their library into their graveyard)? Those seem somewhat at odds and, although some cards like Phenax can let those work, I don't know it will work in a more general build. Can you be more specific about what you are trying to build and what route you want to take? The suggestions below assume you are going fairly deep on the "creature type matters" aspect even though you might not be doing a lot with Changelings specifically.
I think Sliver Overlord makes the most sense for this type of build, although it is likely to draw hate the first couple times people see it. Sliver Overlord can tutor out any changelings you decide to go with (it sounds like this might be few) and, with Arcane Adaptation or Conspiracy, it can tutor out any creature which means you can get to your Krenko when you need to for example.
So, things that work well with specific creature types are:
Honestly, my $0.2, tutor commanders are kinda bleh. Sliver Hive lord is a solid 'creature type' (cheaper?) Commander that enables a lot of fun interactions. But that means, don't build a typical 'sliver' deck. Notable exceptions, the mana slivers and harmonic.
5/5 indestructible that can make all your dudes (that you change types at will) indestructible as well is pretty decent. Keeps the jank flowing.
You can also consider using a deck with black then add Haakon, Stromgald Scourge, that'd allow you to play all changelings from graveyard, then if you manage to change other creatures to knight you're set. Ertai, the Corrupted is a good one to go with Haakon.
There's a player in my meta with a Mistform Ultimus deck like that. A bunch of lords for different tribes, uncommonly seen anthems like Obelisk of Urd, etc.

was the deck any good/good fun to play against? i'd imagine that since it's based on having redundant effects that might have stranger effects on board, it'd always be different, and you'd never be able to expect what'd happen. Might be wrong though.

It's functionally a voltron deck, but with lords and anthems instead of auras and equipment. You can take from that what you will on whether it's "fun" to play against. It's reasonably powerful, but nowhere near cEDH. I like it mostly because it brings out cards that I rarely get to see.
Trap your friends in an endless game with this 23-card combo!

So, things that work well with specific creature types are:
Krenko, Mob Boss - you already mentioned this
Avenger of Zendikar - gives you counters on everything
Nemata, Grove Guardian - Sac outlet and a boost to everything
Shepherd of Rot - causes all players to lose a lot of life if everything is a zombie (note it counts your opponents stuff too)
Ishkanah, Grafwidow - lose life for each Spider you control
Things that look for creature types:
Coat of Arms - already mentioned
Distant Melody - let's you draw a card for each creature you control (basically)
Door of Destinies - A slightly worse Coat of Arms but can still be useful
Kindred Charge - double all your creatures temporarily
Kindred Discovery - Draw cards for each creature that enters or attacks
Shared Animosity - Make your creatures even bigger
Cover of Darkness - make your creatures harder to block
Harsh Mercy - an asymmetrical board wipe. It won't get rid of your opponents' scariest stuff, but can clean things up without affecting you as much
Crux of Fate
Kindred Dominance
Kindred Summons - potentially free creatures
Patriarch’s Bidding - get back all your creatures (your opponents get back some too)
Roar of the Crowd - huge burn spell if you have enough creatures
Vanquisher’s Banner - card draw and a buff
Things that set creature types:
Mistform Wakecaster
Arcane Adaptation
Conspiracy
Mirror Entity
Xenograft
Tribal cards that work with Overlord:
Crib Swap

Brudiclad, Token Engineer
Vaevictis (VV2) the Dire Lantern
Rona, Disciple of Gix
Tiana the Auror
Hallar
Ulrich the Politician
Zur the Rebel
Scorpion, Locust, Scarab, Egyptian Gods
O-Kagachi, Mathas, Mairsil
"Non-Tribal" Tribal Generals, Eggs
mistform ultimus
Play lord of atlantis, winged sliver, lord of the unreal, and so on. It’s surprisingly powerful, and really funky to play.
Possibly the reverse of what you want, but it’s still on theme and quite fun
Legacy - Solidarity - mono U aggro - burn - Imperial Painter - Strawberry Shortcake - Bluuzards - bom
Two Score, Minus Two or: A Stargate Tail

remember also, that you can imprint artificial evolution onto isochron sceptre (i.e. you can, at instant speed, change shadow sliver to affect all frogs instead, or master of waves to give +1/+1 to all dinosaurs... and your mistform ultimus will still have all those pumps.
