Pretty much everyone on here seems to agree that the quality of the reprints in C18 was really poor. Actually, it's hard to argue that on any objective level, since other than a few of the new cards exclusive to the set, none of the other reprints is worth as much as Sol Ring, which has been reprinted a gazillion times now.
Now, obviously (albeit sadly) we aren't going to get cards which are on the Reserved list. I would also hope that the debacle with True-Name Nemesis taught WotC to not put obvious Vintage/Legacy staples into these sets, but I don't see why cards that see niche play in those formats might not be options.
There are a lot of cards I think really should be reprinted in upcoming Commander sets. Some of my suggestions include: Oracle of Mul Daya: This staple is approaching $40. Definitely needs a reprint. Sylvan Library: It was reprinted in Commander's Arsenal, but never in an actual Commander set. That should change. Asceticism: Great protection from many sorts of removal, something G could really use Baneslayer Angel: Solid creature, goes for $12 despite multiple reprints. Much better choice than 90% of the crap reprints we get. Stonehewer Giant: Stoneforge Mystic is probably too good for a Commander precon, but this one, which has only been reprinted once, should be safe. Archangel of Thune: $14 card, goes great in a lot of EDH decks, not played anywhere else I'm aware of. Much more welcome than another Serra Avatar reprint. Toxic Deluge: Originally printed in a Commander set, this one is still going for nearly $20 despite having been reprinted once. Seems like a shoo-in. Massacre Wurm: $15 card, very solid black creature, never reprinted. Grave Pact: Solid black staple, it's been reprinted in Commander decks before and several other times, and it's still a $15 card. Phyrexian Metamorph: One of the better clones, especially in "artifacts matter" decks. Reprinted only once, goes for more than $8. Cyclonic Rift: EDH staple. Some people hate it, but it's a staple for a reason. It's been reprinted in Commander decks in the past, but still goes for more than $17 despite multiple printings. Clever Impersonator: The ultimate clone. Great card, never reprinted, better than 90% of what gets printed in Commander precons. Patron Wizard: Solid card, popular creature type, never reprinted. $13. Sounds like a good option. Mana Echoes: Never reprinted. Approaching $20. Insanely good in decks with even a modest tribal component. Sneak Attack: Not sure about this one, I think it might see some play in other eternal formats. Great EDH card, though, and currentlhy $27 despite multiple printings Stranglehold: Initially printed in a Commander project, solid staple, $9, needs a reprint. Thought Vessel: It's been printed 3 times and it still goes for $8. Great ramp, potentially goes in almost any deck. Vedalken Orrery: Only reprinted once. Staple card, in part because it has been heavily pushed on the Command Zone podcasts. Currently edging toward $30. Phyrexian Altar: Solid card, only reprinted once (Ultimate Masters), $33 value. Lots of decks can use sac outlets, especially ones that generate mana. Is this played in other eternal formats? If so, probably not a good choice here, but man, what Commander player couldn't use more copies? Quicksilver Amulet: An actual way to effectively cast the overpriced creatures they keep sticking us with. It's only a $5 card, but it's still better than a lot of what is printed in Commander precons. Scroll Rack. Another which was reprinted in Commander Arsenal but never in a Commander set. A card that should have been in last year's "top of the deck matters" deck. Currently goes for more than $50. Rings of Brighthearth: Solid card, never reprinted except as a Kaladesh invention, $40 value. About time it gets reprinted. Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. EDH staple, never reprinted, approaching $10.
Now, keep in mind, I'm not suggesting they just reprint a ton of pricey staples. But tossing a few of these into the decks would make the precons vastly better and provide value to new and established players alike.

Much as I would like it, that isn't going to happen because Modern players would grab up the precons. Fetches see lots of play in Modern. Massacre Wurm and Asceticism? Not so much.

Fetches are only as good as the lands they can grab. If you are suggesting they also include fetchable duals, well, I have bad news for you.
As JWK stated, including cross-format staples, specifically lands, would just drive up the price and make these next to impossible to acquire for the target audience.
As much as I love reprints, I prefer new unique cards. Or, new takes on old classics. Easiest way to drive down prices of “staples” is to print viable alternatives. Massacure Wurm is actually one of my favorite cards, and would welcome a reprint.
How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
That's probably plenty to go on with. Obviously it's not feasible to see all of them in a single edition, but almost all of these are staples that are used widely, and a)priced higher than they ought to be due to lack of reprints and b)useful in a variety of settings within the format. I'm definitely in the boat of struggling to get a reasonable range of staples due to time away from the game, and it's enticing to see solid value reprints come through, when they do. Also, without masters sets coming through in the foreseeable future any of these would be a welcome addition in precons. It remains to be seen how WotC will continue to make reprints available, and I think adding value to precons is a long overdue easy option.

And yet, in Masters 25, where they promised an iconic card from each set in Magic's history, the "iconic" card from Prophecy was not Rhystic Study(the most iconic, most valuable, and most-needing-a-reprint card from the set) or even Spore Frog, a perfectly serviceable common that's never seen a reprint. Instead, they chose Plague Wind, a (very nearly) strictly worse In Garruk's Wake (barring regeneration effects).
Rhystic Study - it's stupid how much this costs for a damn uncommon from one of the worst sets in MTG history.
And yet, in Masters 25, where they promised an iconic card from each set in Magic's history, the "iconic" card from Prophecy was not Rhystic Study(the most iconic, most valuable, and most-needing-a-reprint card from the set) or even Spore Frog, a perfectly serviceable common that's never seen a reprint. Instead, they chose Plague Wind, a (very nearly) strictly worse In Garruk's Wake (barring regeneration effects).
I would argue that Rhystic Study is very likely the only 'iconic' card in Prophecy. The only people who care about Plague Wind are Lazav, Dimir Mastermind players. Honestly, Iconic was such a bad set in general. Completely overshadowed by Battlebond. The duals from that set would be a good addition, too.
Enlightened Tutor - Not just for voltron or enchantress decks, there's great utility in being able to fetch up Paradox Engine and company outside of Black or Blue. Cyclonic Rift - Its not going away, it needs to just eat a reprint or two given how ubiquitous and unique it is. Toxic Deluge - Another early, non-color intensive sweeper that is just too pricey. Purphoros, God of the Forge - Be it as a general or in the 99, Purph is an incredibly important card for Red. Sylvan Library - Even ignoring some combos with cards like Abundance, this still adds so much draw power to green decks that its a crime to see such a lack of availability. Sensei's Divining Top - Again, this card ranges from staple to absolute powerhouse depending on the deck, but it is never just a straight-up "bad" card to have.
Does the Top see significant play in Modern, Legacy or Vintage? If so it probably wouldn't - and shouldn't - be reprinted in a Commander project. Most of the rest of what people are recommending seem pretty solid options, and definitely Rhystic Study.
Please don't reprint Rhystic Study. The more people forget that that thing even exists, the better, as it only creates miserable games where one schmuk always decides to not pay for his vanilla 5/5's or something.
My biggest ones would be various obvious staples like the aformentioned Oracle of Mul Daya. I'd also like to see City of Brass and Mana Confluence be put in any 3+ commander builds as they're useful lands to have around and their price point, while not high, is also not of the level that they should be. Same for Path of Ancestry.
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras. Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power. Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza. Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall. Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana. Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die. Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.

Cavern would be great. I am astonished how high its price has gone, with it having gotten a couple (albeit limited) printings in the recent past. I it used in some of the other eternal formats or in Modern (Merfolk, maybe), or is the high price reflecting Commander demand?
It was just printed like 3 weeks ago in Ultimate there is no way that is being seen and that set probably puts a halt on anything from it showing up too. Sees play everywhere Cavern does.

Yeah, sadly that probably means we won't be getting it in a Commander precon any time soon. On the other hand, it would be an ideal card to reprint in a core set or any other set with any significant tribal aspect (which is a lot of them). Hopefully we will see it reprinted again sooner rather than later.
Another potential reprint: Amulet of Vigor. Not exactly a staple, but very, very good in the right deck, and especially if they are going to keep filling the precons with crappy CIPT lands. It should have been included in the Lord Windgrace deck. $25+, never reprinted.
