Just what the title says. Was thinking of some of my favorite MTG artists and realized it'd be fun to have a deck where all the art (maybe even the lands?) was done by that artist. The more prolific and longtime artists are obvious choices. Not so much looking for suggestions though as if anyone has done it and who they picked both for artists and General?
Riku of Two Reflections - Copy, then copy again | Shattergang Brothers - Token Sac&Recur | Gahiji, Honored One - Multiple attack steps | Karametra, God of Harvests - Landfall, Creaturefall, Shroud | Ruhan of the Fomori - Stop hitting yourself | Zurgo Helmsmasher - Equipment&Wraths | Crosis, the Purger - Dragon Tribal Reanimator | Derevi, Empyrial Tactician - No stax, just tap and untap fun | Anafenza, the Foremost - Enduring Ideal Enchantress | Sharuum, the Hegemon - Sphinx Tribal Control | Noyan Dar - Spellslinger | The Mimeoplasm - Counterpalooza

Still convinced the guy on Beseech the Queen is wearing a Mitra-type hat. Wake up sheeple!
Way back in the day, before Commander existed and before we even had things like Legacy, Vintage and Standard (it was Type I and Type II back then, and that was it), I had a deck in which everything but the lands was Anson Maddocks' art. It was a frankly terrible deck, but I liked it, because Maddocks was one of the artists (along with Quinton Hoover) whose work initially drew me to Magic.
Back then we had to walk uphill both ways to school, too. You kids get off my lawn, yahr!!!!
Back then, I actually won a 20-something player "Artist" tournament (all cards had to be from a single artist) with a Douglas Shuler deck featuring Serra Angel.
Commander and mana base isn't restricted to my chosen artist, since the Foglios only did 4 (nonbasic) lands (Mishra's Workshop, Mishra's Factory, Rainbow Vale, Sulfurous Springs) and 2 legendary creatures (Orim, Samite Healer, Ramirez DePietro). I already had a W and UB deck when I built it, and I also wanted more colors to expand my card pool. Orim, Factory, and Vale did make it into my list, though. Also, Rabid Wombat is like a backup Uril.
WUBRG Some of these decks can actually win games...WUBRG
How I know I should build a deck:
Edit: I think it was Foglio tribal with Uril, the Miststalker as commander. Can't find a link right now though.
Tamanoa - Welcome to the Jungle

It's mostly terrible, but there are a handful of actual synergies in it.
