So I randomly fell into a full 1 of all the shocks and fetches so I want to make a 5C edh deck. My question is would 5C gods be fun and good? My idea is using all 15 gods, around 20-30 other enchantments. And 15ish spells Such as plenty of destroy all creatures.
I need this to be good enough I don’t get blown out every time I play but also fun for me and possibly my opponents.
What would be some of the other cards to add to this style of deck?
Would it be fun? Sure. I play Child of Alara gods-tribal on occasion, and it can be fun (though it would get old if I didn't have other decks to play, as well).
Would it be good? Depends. The trouble is the gods don't actually synergize well. In my build, the only synergy is that they survive board wipes. In reality, the gods all have such different abilities, that any good deck will actually focus on the abilities instead of the shared creature type.
Is it fun for your opponents - not particularly. Will this be your only deck? I'd recommend something else. Have other decks to switch in and out? Sounds great.
If you already have the cards, go ahead and build it. If you don't, I would try to break down which gods are most appealing to you and go from there. I am pretty sure you end up cutting Phenax. It only has synergy with The Scarab God. The Scarab God makes creatures so it works with most of the other gods.
Karametra, Athreos and Hazoret are the others that seem weak unless the rest of your deck supports them.
In any case, I don't think it is bad to just jam all 23... I just think it is less tuned than it could be.
if you use child of alara, make sure you have stuff like worthy cause and phyrexian tower to be able to nuke the board whenever.
i'm guessing that like many non-synergistic tribes (frog, advisor and so on) would lead to quite janky builds, but hey - its a for funsies and not for bloodsport format, so I'm sure it'll be alright. just make sure your group's expectations are set to a good level is all.

If you do build it, you can gain a lot of value from enchantress cards - Argothian Enchantress, Eidolon of Blossoms, Enchantress's Presence, etc. And even if they aren't creatures when they resolve, they are on the stack, so you benefit from stuff like Beast Whisperer and Zendikar Resurgent.

You can also use an indestructible commander like Sliver Hivelord.
As mentioned above, there isn't a lot of synergy to this build. It is not like Ephara, God of the Polis and Phenax, God of Deception work well with Purphoros, God of the Forge.

You can also play some indestructible creatures and stay on theme. Planeswalkers are also good with a lot of wraths.
Odric, Lunarch Marshal will often be indestructible.
Sapling of Colfenor is awesome.
Both Tajics are good, especially with a token theme.
