Hey guys, I'm starting a new project for the commander deck builder in all of us. I want to make a video for EVERY legendary creature in which I brew a decklist. Here's the fun part, I want you to help.
Follow the link to my twitch account and using some good old RNG we will make a decklist for a general today, maybe two, maybe three, who knows. I have no idea who will even come up or if they will even be good or not but the plan is to make a list for EVERY general possible, banned, partners, even some goofy ones eventually but this is a project to finally have a channel with decklists on every possible general. And to make it not biased and more interesting I want to do it with my chat.
Episode one has already been done and will be on my youtube channel soon.
Episode two to be filmed soon! People who brew with me get credit with the deck as well and you can have your name on a deck database for every commander.
Hope to see you soon
I like the idea of building Sygg, River Guide. I had forgotten about him but I've watched Tolarian Community College's video on building a Commander deck where The Professor uses Sygg to start brainstorming ideas for a deck that presumably he wants people to take off with the theme and make their own deck. I have other decks that are priorities, like Yisan, Jenara, maybe improving my Archangel Avacyn, and possibly a Tajic, Legion's Edge deck I brewed for French Duel Commander. Still, a solid idea.

Man, that's an ambitious undertaking. I think there's currently 800+ legendary creatures.
To be specific: 814, 6 of which are banned, plus 11 planeswalker-commanders. And it's unlikely this project will get finished before RNA is released on January 25 (likely to have around 8 legendary creatures, give or take), and likely will extend into the following set or more.
The real question is how partner commanders will be handled.
How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
