Wow windgrace got way votes than I though he would. Yuriko got less than o thought.
For me it's just because he's the best Jund commander for card advantage, easily winning over Adun Oakenshield and Xira Arien. The only close contender is VV2, and he's more of a build-around card that's more removal than CA.
With Windgrace, all you really need are some fetchlands and a copy of Obliterate. So he's also very noncommittal.
I've never had a Bant deck, and I love enchantress. Estrid is looking really nice, so I'm looking forward to making weird enchantment jank a thing. Esper zombies, too. Gisa and Geralf are decent, but Varina, Lich Queen looks to have what zombies have needed for a while - a way to dig into the library and fill the graveyard all at once.
Conversely, not at all interested in the Izzet commanders whatsoever. The two creature commanders look so easily breakable it's laughable, and Saheeli the Gifted just doesn't do it for me. I've also already played against a proxied dredge deck that was like watching someone play solitaire. That seems the only interesting build I can see with the Jund commanders, and it's not that interesting. For a supposed 'land matters' deck, it really didn't break any new ground (pun fully intended).
Looking at either Windgrace or Gyrus to head my Jund "big mana" deck, depending if the deck ends up wanting a threat or utility in the commmand zone. Will likely have both in the deck anyway. Windgrace would also be my first crack at a planeswalker commander.
Varina will lead a sweet, sweet endless zombie horde.
Mildly considering Brudiclad and Arixmethes.

It plays a defensive early game, before suddenly rolling over everyone with a ridiculously massive Tuvasa. She isn't the best Voltron commander, but she can be unexpectedly effective. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/tuvasa-enchantress-supreme/
I've never found a home for one of my favorite cards, Baleful Strix, so I'm currently building Yuriko just for it.
At the risk of some light thread derailment, the home that I've found for Baleful Strix is virtually every UBx deck I've built since it was printed.
Back on topic, Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle has grown on me a lot. 2 CMC ramp into 4 CMC ramp, make a land drop and have 7 mana available T4 is one of my favorite lines of play for ramp decks (improve with fast mana as desired - my group tries to limit that). Making one of those pieces always available ups the consistency a lot, and I like that it turns into a decent threat later on. Including the ramp density you need to make that play consistently makes it more difficult to fit good threats for late game and limits it to generals that can take advantage on their own, so including both a decent ramp card and a big body without taking a slot in the deck will be fun. Probably not good enough for some metas, but I'll enjoy it.

[Pr]Jaya | Estrid | A rotating cast of decks built out of my box.
I have also been thinking a lot about Arixmethes. At first I thought I would probably just play him in the 99 (most likely in Animar), but the more I have thought about him, the more I have thought about him as a general. People decry his lack of evasion, but it's not like blue or green lack ways to make creatures unblockable or to give them flying or trample. Or go the artifact route, just toss on a Loxodon Warhammer and Swiftfoot Boots and he's gonna rock people's world. Add in counter support and he would seem like a potent threat.
When Btz I had thought of making a RG+ creature-land commander deck since I through out the years gotten such like Crucible of Worlds, Amult of Vigor, Oracle of Mul Daya, ect. Sadly awaken was WU and I wasn't feeling BtZ landfall so put the idea on the back burner. Now with Windgrace I defiantly gonna finish the deck and while the deck could have been more on theme, it has enough card to make it worth buying and not getting singles.

Arixmethes is amazing. I just Whelming Wave loop, make him unblockable with Thassa or Hadana's Climb to give him flying and +12/+12. He ramps into the spells that wake him, it's just beautiful. I love just the card.
This is probably a bit of a cop-out, but xantcha and tawnos.
If anyone's read the brother's war, you'll get it. I just can't get myself to fork out the however many thousands it'd set me back for a mishra's workshop, no matter how awesome it is.
Maybe some day I will get my Mardu artifacts commander (no, shut up Breya, you have Islands too). Just give me Mardu Glissa already. >_< #firstworldproblems

Mardu Glissa would be awesome. I'd even be happy with Rakdos Glissa
I'm looking at Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign, but I'm rather short on disposable income at the present and there's a few more expensive cards I'd want for her (Vampiric Tutor for example, as well as a good 3 colour land base including a full fetchland package to take advantage of the topdeck manipulation I'd want to run), so I'm going to hold off building her for a while and hopefully trade towards getting the pieces I need over the next few months.

None of them wavered my heart enough to consider revamping my deck suite structure for them. Then again none of them were as tempting as Atraxa and even Atraxa failed to do that, so...
But the closest would be Yuriko, simply because I already have a UB deck so by color-balance interference (a very big factor for me considering how long I planned around it when I built my suite) and she's somewhat interesting enough. Too bad she interferes with too many other aspects (for starters the deck she would replace is a zombies deck so their overlap is minimal, then I would want topdeck manipulation and I split that between my WU and WUBRG decks that it'll be hard to pool resources with a third deck... then I would definitely want Eldrazi in that and I left the majority monopoly of that to Animar and I don't want that to be out since I consider that to be a driving point of me playing EDH... Animar Battlecruiser was the start of it all). Not even my love for Kamigawa can save that, because I already have a Ryusei deck (with all foil Kamigawa Mountains to boot) so she's not providing new territory in that department either...
Honorable mention might be Thantis - Fumiko never worked because Mono-R doesn't have enough tools to support that strategy, but Jund definitely can. Still not interesting enough for me to considering upsetting-then-revamping the color-balance and I'm better off running Fumiko as a 99 for a taste of that strategy.
So, I already built Lord Windgrace. That was one of the fastest Commander decks I've ever built, but I've been thinking about how I was going to do that deck since the decklists for this round of Commander were released, so mostly it was just pulling together the cards and putting it together. I don't think I'm anywhere close to a final build, but what I have is good to start playing around with.
I had been putting off building a Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain until the Izzet deck arrived, and am now putting that together. I had originally intended to include Brudiclad and related token shenanigans in the Jhoira deck, but I found it wasn't meshing at all with the rest of the deck, so I suppose Brudiclad will get his own deck. As is, I still have to cut about 20 cards from Jhoira, as UR + artifacts offers so many tasty options. I already had an abundance of riches to choose from, and this deck just added several more, including Tawnos and the new Saheeli, and deciding to include Tawnos has finally given me a deck for Power Artifact to go into. Seems like that should be good with The Chain Veil or Planar Bridge.
So, that's three decks, and I haven't even cracked the other two precons yet. I might end up doing Esper enchantress, and even though it's a pretty obvious build, I have found myself thinking a lot about Yennett, so I may end up building that. Toss in a possible Arixmethes deck and I'd say that's a fair bit of value from the new commanders already.
Built Xantcha and awaiting it in the mail, as I wasnt going to spend $$$ on that precon. Bought Esper and Izzet.
The Aminatou Deck seems really cool, and going to keep it a precon untill after I get some c18 precon vs, precon games in. Then its off to upgrading and tossing out the cards that dont jive. I really like its synergy with black and Corpse Dance, so thinking a bit of reainimation, a bit of blink and a couple of miracles and manipulation is where that is going.
I bought the Izzet deck because half of the reprints were already in Jhoira, and the new stuff was worth getting as a whole instead of ordering pieces. Keeping Brudiclad in there as there are alot of token makers, its sweet Jhoira triggers off of cards like Feldon of the Third Path and Pia and Kiran Nalaar
I'm still waiting for my singles as well. Probably should have been a bit more patient since the card prices went down a bit after I bought them, but eh, it's just a few bucks. It's really agonizing waiting for the cards to arrive, and Friday Commander was pretty boring for me without my Greek island lobster. Part of me wants to buy a pre-con despite ordering singles lol. I am mostly upgrading my decks with the new cards, although my Sea Monster deck moved Thassa to the 99, Thrasios into the Command Zone and the deck is of course Simic now. I'm really happy about that change.
Kestia may become my new Enchantress general, moving Ephara to the 99. I will add Aminatou's Augury to that deck as well.
I still need to cut 3 cards from my Thrasios deck. Adding a second color to what was once a complete Mono-Blue Sea Monster deck is really difficult, because it required a lot of cuts to accomodate new strategies. I welcome it, but I really wish Commander was 100 cards + Commander instead of 99.
Got to play 2 games with Xantcha yesterday. Won the first game by bull*****ting my way through it with politics, then killed everyone with Heartless Hidetsugu and a Fireball. In the second game I got hated out quite quickly, although I was close to comboing. Overall, it feels like a nice deck for lower power tables, although the "Voltron Xantcha up" plan didn't work out. I want to try a more group hug/slug approach and see how it works out.
I brudiclad deck needs some fine tuning. I want to keep the initial build but make it less reliant on the general.
Varina failed hard. Too black heavy (unavoidable best zombie spells are black. Gonna have to rework the e tire thing. Maybe go for a more control focused build.
Yuriko. Still a work in progress. Gonna take a while to get it right. But my idea is the same as others.low curve creature to get yuriko out turn 2. But then have heavy spells like split cards and aftermath cards.
Brudiclad is almost built, it is easier than Jhoira because it's more narrow in focus. While I am wrestling with what cuts to make to bring Jhoira down to size, I switch over to Brudiclad for awhile to clear my mind, but as a result I am now closer to done with Brudiclad than with the Jhoira deck I started with.
I will be 1000% building Xantcha. I've always wanted a slightly political and very punishing rakdos deck.
I'm also converting my Karametra Enchantress deck into Tuvasa just because it's a more appropriate leader for the deck, might actually be cast, and even though the deck will still be base WG, the blue splash gives some neat options.
My wife is building Aminatou, and I have to admit, the concept of looping Miracles with Entreat the Dead, Archaeomancer, and Mnemonic Wall is scary.
We bought the decks friday, and had our first out of the box games yesterday, and Aminatou wiped the floor with me and my friends.

Have any of you gotten singles in yet? I'm wishing at this point I just bought the deck on Thrusday night and enjoyed my games last week. But I don't want anything but Arixmethes and Octopus Umbra out of it, so IDK. So lame. I looked over the deck list because I almost caved and just did it, but they really are pretty bad, even if I did play enchantress strategies. Yikes.
I also took apart all my other decks and got rid of their cards except three: Thrasios (with Arixmethes), Silas Renn and Ephara (which has a Jace theme). I kept O-Kagachi as well, but he's not really a playable deck, more of a collection deck. Got rid of my trades, all of it except those. I'm very minimalist so I only want to have those three decks and not carry around anything else.
I played Windgrace several times on Monday, he did very well overall, was very resilient, and in two games I had most of the lands in my deck out on the battlefield while other players were at around 7 lands. I made a few changes afterward, based on things that did and didn't work out in my first run of the deck and also inspired by some interesting things I saw other people doing with Lord Windgrace. I saw several other Lord Windgrace decks, and none of them, except for a couple which were barely modified from the precon deck, were that much alike. He's obviously inspired people in a lot of different ways, and seems robust enough to support a variety of interesting builds.
I also saw some strong decks featuring Saheeli v. 2.0, both focusing on her second loyalty ability (which really is bonkers).
