Hi Everyone!
I've been playing EDH forever and I constantly break my decks apart because of some dissatisfaction and build new ones to keep chasing/creating trends in my playgroup so that I can have fun with everyone. However, one deck that I have always wanted to make was one built around the concept of Angels and Demons; I love the aesthetic of the Angels in Magic and the (named mostly, but even Lord of the Pit is cool!) demons have always looked intriguing as a foil to the angels. When I initially sat down to work on the deck, obviously Kaalia being the prime choice, we had another play sit down with a fully-tuned Kaalia deck looking to play. This forced me to table the idea and work on something else so that I don't mirror-match the Kaalia deck.
Now, however, I have been spending a lot of time looking at Atraxa for this build. I had recently built up a Phyrexian Invasion version of Atraxa, but my playgroup frowns heavily on infect as the main win-con. So instead, I slowly turned her into an abzan mess of counter production and Angel/Demon top-end and.. it was fun! I enjoyed playing around with the +1/+1 counters, although very few of my angels/demons ever got to hit the board but i was enjoying it. When I broke it down to make revisions, however, I found a total of three cards with a blue identity, not counting Atraxa. This feels like a gross miss-use of the Atraxa I had recently bought, but I struggled to find ways to take advantage of the blue without cutting a bunch of cards I was enjoying. Is there anything I'm missing in the world of building Angels/Demons? Am I stuck cutting a color, or multiple colors, to make a deck worth playing? Or do I just grab a Maelstrom Archangel and tell my playgroup to lemme play her as a commander? I'm looking for any sort of advice, even if its telling me I'm completely in left-field on this!
It sounds like your deck is more of a +1/+1 counter deck than an Angel/Demon deck in practice. If you want to go Angel/Demon as the main theme instead of subtheme then I have to point to the extremly on theme pair of Regna, the Redeemer and Krav, the Unredeemed. (If you go with them, please try to sacrifice around 70 creatures at once to make an opponent draw their deck with Krav atleast once. They probably won't see it coming. >:D)
If I had to make an Abzan +1/+1 counter deck, I'd say splashing a barely used fourth color for Atraxa, Praetors' Voice is totally worth it. If it feels too much like wasting part of the card, then the alternatives are Anafenza, the Foremost and Ghave, Guru of Spores.
If you really want to keep Atraxa, could you say what blue cards you're using are so people can suggest different blue cards to add? (If you don't have Fathom Mage, get Fathom Mage.)

Don't ask, I don't know why ether...
I can link the deck I am currently using, although I feel like it is very wrong and out of place at the moment..
