So i had a collection of like 20+ badly-built decks, since all my cards were spread thinly amongst them all. A couple of months ago, i dismantled most of them and built the user Silenciaco's big-bro rakdos thats a pretty insane BR suicide aggro/combo that's hilariously fun to play and watch play. The other deck i built is a 5c child lands-control. Its an ultra plodding, slow, grindy deck that kills with lands or marit lage.
Anyways, i've been thinking about building a deck that could scratch some other itch that i probably have but am unaware of. Any fun/hillarious sort of archetype-deck that could be quirky and/or hard to play or something else that makes it quite unique? Preferably not in the colours of red or black.
Ideas? if suggesting something like group hug, it'd be nice to also suggest some sort of multiple/unique angles of attack that the deck could use.
-Jodah, Archmage Eternal: cards for nothing, Spells for free. This plays lots of big Spells like any Jodah deck but has a subtheme of free spells through cascade, Sunbird Invocation, Hidden Predators, Mind’s Dilation etc. Just “press play” and see What happens.
-Najeela, the Blade Storm: combine effects that force attacking with propaganda effects so those attacks won’t be aimed at you, forcing opponents to attack each other. War’s Toll and Mana Web are the deck’s primary techs as players can’t both attack you and play something. Najeela van actuallly force people to take an extra attack step so that’s cool. Just as cool as passing Zurgo Helmsmasher or O-Kagachi, Vengeful Kami equipped with an assault suit around the table. Must include: Rite of the Raging storm.
-Taigam, Ojutai Dragonspeaker: play along with torpor orb and it’s creature form and Dovescape. No one plays instants and sorceries besteed you

Cycling matters deck sounds interesting.. how many unique interactions could there possibly be though? I like the sound of hard to play though. My 2 existing decks i find great to play BECAUSE they are so impossibly difficult to play properly.
I think I might've been a bit too wishy-washy with what sort of deck I'm thinking of building.. My bad. I'm into the idea of a very challenging deck to pilot, with a unique angle of attack, and is also fun to play against. Since i have a aggro/combo deck in rakdos and a draw-go control in child, some sort of interesting mid-range might be what I'm looking for. but yea, i actually still don't have any idea. The Jodah deck sounds interesting, and so does the cycling matters, though I'm curious how zur fits into that strategy.

It is a very fun deck to play and is very counter-intuitive to how one usually plays the game. When the decks works just right it is a joy to see in action. People also usually left me alone because I was "helping" them

I have my decklist under "My Decks". Zur the Enchanter fits very well into the strategy because he tutors up a number of enchantments that aid cycling, like Astral Slide, Drake Haven, and Faith of the Devoted.

Everything combos with Tombstone Stairwell.
