The pros of doing so would mean my general (The Ur-Dragon) would reduce the cost of those 4 cards, and they would synergize more with my dragons.
The cons are that it is ONLY FOUR CREATURES.
I would say no. I use Conspiracy in my Hythonia deck to protect all my creatures from her effect, but even then it's a card I'd be willing to cut for a better spell. Adding one or both of those cards to help out 4 others without a huge payoff seems kinda bad. There's some cool stuff you can do (Scion for elesh norn to wipe a board and whatnot), but I don't know.how worth it I'd consider it.
I don't play Scion. too many "Negate activated abilities" in my meta.
I'll second the "no". I run Conspiracy in my Mary O'Kill deck, but then there only exist 4 Killbots (plus 8 changelings in RB), so the effect is much more valuable to me.
I'll third the no. For 4 cards, it isn't worth it, especially when they pay off is a cost reduction of 1. That's a disadvantage of 1U or 2BB.
It was simply a matter of synegy. (Sakashima is often a dragon, so overall he synergizes, and clever impersonator can be a dragoon if needed, but he usually ends up being temur ascendancy or Kindred Discovery. Or a really good card on my opponents side (onsecrated Sphinx) So in the end it may even only be the praetors that need it.
I suspect Elesh Norn would consider the idea that a praetor might need be any lesser creature type to be highly suspect, if not downright heretical.
Aside from that, no, I don't think it worth it for a couple of cards. I used to run Xenograft and Conspiracy in my Allies deck, because of a couple creatures which were not allies, such as Juniper Order Druid, but I found most of the time I'd rather have drawn into something that more of an impact on its own than one of those cards. Then when we returned to Zendikar both those cards and the few non-Ally cards got edged out of the deck completely.

If you want to get more use out of it run some token makers, then those can become dragons and net you some extra draw with the second effect of Ur-Dragon.

Aside from a few tokens i may grab from my opponents (like forbidden orchard or Dowsing dagger) my deck only creates dragon tokens.
Is Arcane Adaptation or Conspiracy worth running in a deck that has 4/30 off tribe cards?
