Magics first Plane, and covers Antiquities, Legends, The Dark, Ice Age, Alliances, Cold Snap, Mirage, Visions, Urza's Saga, Urza's Legacy, Urza's Destiny, Invasion, Planeshift, Apocalypse, Odyssey, Torment, Judgement, Onslaught, Legions, Scourge, Time Spiral, Planar Chaos, and Future Sight are all predominately set on Dominaria (though the Urza sets also featured Serra's Realm and Phyrexia). Also, Weatherlight starts on Dominaria before they head to Rath midway through the story.

Probably the scope is too numerous to speculate on who exactly will feature, but who would you like to see, and what possibly would you like to see in the card?

The other thing is that some of these older Legendary creatures first prints are busted, and reprinting alternative version often end up being weaker. So it might be that you don't want to see your favorite character being reduced to a 2018 power level of themselves.

I think we should expect some of these Legendary creatures to feature a Planeswalker version of themselves. Come on Wizards make sure you print that "... can be your commander." at the bottom of some of these cards

Considering the story SHOULD by all accounts feature Lili adressing the final parts of her contract, I'd love to see the true identity of the Raven Man. I remember Jay13x doing an archive trap analysis of it, coming to the conclusion that it's likely Lim-Dul. Whatever the case it will be interesting to see how that plays that. FWIW my bet is also on Lim-Dul.

Story-wise, I am very excited for all the characters we have already seen in promo artworks (Karn, Teferi, Jhoira, Jaya Ballard) or good reason to assume are on the plane (a bunch of Gatewatch walkers, the new legendary Weatherlight guardian Angel and her vampire buddy), and I am really open to whatever and whoever else they will come up with.

Mechanically, I have no special wishes, but I do wish for juicy, unique, build-around legendaries. Please no Dragonlord Kolaghan. I would be super excited about a playable, (possibly non-graveyard based) Sultai legend, as I am still looking for a cool deck idea in these colors.

Also, I don't see WotC printing Commander-Walkers (or cards that reference the command zone) outside of supplemental products, unfortunately.

Mishra & Yawmgmoth. i would have said urza too, but since he was just in unstable, i'm guessing that'd be a pipedream. & for the love of the gods & anything else thats holy, pls NO JACE!

Mishra is dead, and Yawgmoth is too. The only remainder of Yawgmoth is New Phyrexia and its inhabitants.

Personally, I think it'd be opening up a can of worms to return to that part of the lore. It got messy (really messy) and the stories got ridiculous. I'm glad Urza is dead and gone, and I really hope they leave well enough alone and not return to that particular conflict - at best it will be contrived, at worst a (bad) marketing ploy.

Yes, it has actually been confirmed that the rebuilt Weatherlight will feature prominently in the stories. I also think it is highly likely we will get a Weatherlight legendary vehicle.

The only problem is that if the majority of the characters come back as Planeswalkers, then it's a lot less fun/impactful for Commander. So personally I hope that they are mainly Legendary creatures.

I'm looking forward to seeing Jaya Ballard show up, perhaps with some interaction with a new Chandra PW card(given that it's highly possible Jaya trained Chandra).

I want to see them do something awesome for a Raven Man card. if not here, then soon.

I don't see us getting the classic oldwalkers in Standard just because while they COULD do the story, it would get really bad and might ruin them. I WOULD like to see them as the faces for the Commander set. Urza, Mishra, Yawgmoth, Lord Windgrace (green?) and Serra

How about Urza as an actual creature? Or a Legal PW.

I'd love to see legendaries that call back to old Dominarian ecosystems/societies/traditions while also reflecting how they have changed over the intervening years. Stuff like the grandeur legendaries or Radha, Heir to Keld.

i'd also wanna see.. er... can't recall the names, but the 2 apprentices from the brother's war. the toy maker and the woman who had that staff that sucked life out of people. them.

Oh and that other one, the phyrexian who urza saved and then he/she went and found some dude called rat to pretend to be mishra? she/he'd be cool too. Some sort of mono-black sneaky legend.

Dunno, but for me, the coolest lore from dominaria is from the brothers war era. read the books and thought they were epic. the other story arcs were alright too, but something about the brother's war was awesome.

Ashnod(woman with the staff) and Tawnos(toymaker)?

- Some kind of Legendary Vesuvan Doppelganger
- Some kind of legendary leader for Erg Raiders...Preferable riding a legendary Pirate Ship
- A legendary version of Ebon Praetor. It's just too creepy not to be legendary.
- New pit fighters (i.e. Silvos, Rogue Elemental)

I haven't paid much attention to the upcoming story line. These are just memorable cards from my younger days.
