So, with all the talk about silver-border being legal, I've been thinking about one of my favorite black-border cards that acts kinda silver-border. No, not Goblin Game. Wild Pair.
Now, obviously, I'm not going to half-ass it. (Geddit? Because every donkey in Unhinged featured 1/2 somewhere on the card?), but I do see some uses for this in a creature-heavy deck. (Mayael, Animar, that sort of thing.)
Now, remember, as it resolves, it checks the P/T of the card in play, and it has to check it against the card in your library. So, for instance, playing a 1/3 can still grab Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. Playing that same 1/3 with an active Beastmaster Ascension (making it a 6/8) can grab Verdant Force, winmoar though it may be.
So, any ideas? I already see how 0+4=2+2, and Wood Elves and Farhaven Elf are both 1/1, in case you needed eight mana.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
I'd go with Bant, since they have a good many creatures with CIP that draws cards or bring on more benefits. Green can find lands creatures for you to cast, White is enchantment friendly, and Blue is good at filling hand. Abzan using Black instead of Blue would give you extra reanimation option, reignite the Wild Pair wheel with cards like Oversold Cemetery.
I use it in Nissa - it grabs ETB answers very nicely. It's not ALWAYS the right way to spend 6 mana, but if you can safely land it you can blow up very, very quick.
I like GW for wild pair (and whatever else you might to care to pair it with). Mostly because of fleetfoot panther and the many modern descendants from the gating mechanic (never keyworded, I know..). White gives you access to a lot of enchantment tutors (all 3, I believe, that are spell based) as well as whitemane lion, stormfront riders (another way to take advantage of gating), and my favorite, but probably not most useful, stonecloaker.
While cases have been made for going UWG or BGW, I think GWR has some not as obvious synergy, too. If you go with the route I suggested as a possibility, you get onslaught, impact tremors, purphoros, god of the forge, etc. and you get one additional gater in horned kavu (as well as shivan wurm, but he's a bit big to be gating without additional beat sticks.
