Good card, but if I see it on the opposing side of the table and I can't immediately remove the creature, I will remove the player instead!
Yes, but that's pretty much true of whatever the worst threat is. Things like War Tax help with that.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

One player also plays Fallen Shinobi and Nightveil Specter along with graveyard recursion so killing them isn’t always an option. So I usually hold onto some exile removal or binding or theft or whatever. The most delicious thing I can do is to use my own thief to find his thief hen hold onto it until someone gets rid of mine.
That doesn't seem like a terrible rate, 4 mana for an almost Sleep... oh wait.
But it's much better than Sleep just because of its card type. I think Blinding Beam is a pretty neat card that doesn't exactly cut the mustard for a lot of decks, but if I was building Feather, the Redeemed I think I'd run it.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
This card was not picked randomly, but it picks randomly itself, so I consider that a reasonable trade.
I know that I'm half a year shy of my intended tenure on this thread, but this is the thread's finale, my final Random Card of the Day. I don't know if anyone has a mind to pick up where I left off with a new random card thread here on Salvation, but there is a successor already rolling elsewhere full of familiar faces for those interested.
It's been great doing this, thank you to everyone who made this thread fun every day.

Zedruu: "This deck is not only able to go crazy - it also needs to do so."
I feel that any Commander player worth their salt must eventually build a Maelstrom Nexus deck. I have a totally foil Reaper King deck that's tribal Cascade. (He costs 5 but cascades for 10, get it?)

I thank you for the opportunity to carry on the legacy of this thread, a forum game and mtgsally tradition that has become one of the more looked forward to games to-date. And, thank you for allowing the opportunity to hand this tradition over to my hands.
What's there to say? Good with JTMS or Sylvan Library?
