I'm happy we haven't done this one before, just so I get to type Oros, the Avenger. Of the hit and they do something dragons, I think this one suffers least or close to least from the "no, don't die from commander damage, I want to keep hitting you!" effect.
I like Oros for being a dragon leader for a white weenie deck. A lot of times a commander fears to attack when opponent has an army, Oros would wipe them out with his hit trigger. The more players in game, the more liberal he could attack and wipe the board again. Deathtouch is a must with Oros, so is Repercussion. The more creatures your opponent has the stronger he is.
Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Isn't Dromar worse? Half of the time he will bounce himself.
Still, bouncing a chunk of the field is a lot better than paying 3 for hopefully more than 4-5 life points.
I have experience with both, and I almost always grab Dromar when I need to clear the field a bit over Oros, the color based clause on Oros hurts most of the time, It really should have been a banefire dragon like effect.
I just realized you "crack the code" to Oros with Darkest Hour.....
From there it shouldn't be hard to build the deck.
Giving him deathtouch and protection from black via equipments is the next logical step.
Even without that (because that would be a 4 card combo that doesn't win the game), this still gives a slagstorm every turn. That's not insignificant. Hmmm.
I got to live the dream of using this as a board wipe in in conjunction with Daggerback Basilisk in limited. However I don't want to spend that much on a Lure effect in Commander.
[quote from="hyalapterouslemur »" url="/forums/the-game/commander-edh/787014-random-card-of-the-day-declare-dominance?comment=3500"]Now, you see, n00bs, this is a deck where I use Akroma's Memorial. And also Repercussion and Basilisk Collar and...
Which are all great with a Boros base. Black conveniently covers Boros' weakness of draws and recur.
Well, it was more frustration from seeing every token deck online have Akroma's Memorial, even though in some, giving every creature protection from black or red hurts you more than it helps you.
Anyway, Declare Dominance is really, eh, I use Lure a lot in green decks, less as a boardwipe and more as a finisher. This offers that, but it costs a lot more than classic Lure, only costs one less than bestowing Noble Quarry (which lets me hit twice), and then there's Nemesis Mask. There's also Taunting Elf and Prized Unicorn as options that come to mind immediately. This does have more potential as a boardwipe, though.

The hilarity of annoucing "I will Declare Dominance" just isn't enough incentive to run such a situational and mana costly combat trick.
Is a sorcery really a combat trick? The point of combat tricks is to add an X factor to combat math, which implies they have to be instants, permanents with flash, cards with channel, etc.
I would regard cards that fit that and affect P/T (or direct damage, which is functionally similar) or add certain abilities (at a bare minimum, flying, reach, first strike, double strike, trample, menace, possibly lifelink just because it might keep your life total above 0 next time SBAs are checked) or bounce (or blink or otherwise exclude cards from combat) or prevent damage or untap creatures combat tricks. Possibly things like Hunter's Insight as well.
This one boosts P/T and messes with blocking, but it's a sorcery.

One of the nicer lands given to us by Commander specific products.
This is way overrated by the community.
Comes into play tapped, and requires a three mana investment when you concider that you wont be tapping it for mana either.
It is also only good in one or two color decks.
All of my copies are in my binder, as they were never good enough even for my mono black deck which counts how many swamps are in play.
I can see how in a duel with a mono blue control deck it can be useful, but even in multiplayer, you are rarely leaving mana up to do nothing. At least in my blue decks, I plan on casting instants like Thirst for knowledge and Intuition, or at least Think Twice and the like rather than breaking a Myriad Landscape.

"Whatever style you wish to play, be it fast and frenzied or slow and tactical, the surest way to defeat your opponent consistently is by dominating him or her in the war of card advantage." - Brian Wiseman, April 1996
It's a decent card especially in Mono Red (Valakut!) or Mono White. Mono Blue and Mono Black can have cause for using it and Mono Green, well, if you're not in Titania, it's just not good because you have so many better options.
Also, this card becomes better the slower your meta is, obviously.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
It's okay in decks that can't run green ramp spells, but fairly slow. It works better in conjunction with untap effcts, including Amulet of Vigor, and with things that double its effect like Rings of Brighthearth, as MRdown2urth already mentioned. The faster or more competitive your meta is, the worse it gets. If you see people play a fair number of CIPT lands it's probably going to be okay.
For a draw-go deck that doesn't mind getting some value of its lands, I like it.
My biggest gripe is that they had to go putting "basic" in front of "land" instead of "land type". So the gw version, whatever that's called, is way better for decks that support it.
I would say that in a slower, less competitive deck, this is great if you are not in green and if you are playing 2 or fewer colors. I think people do not play enough lands with abilities, and this is often better than playing a Guildgate.
Possible with one or two colors, but after that, it starts to get dicey. Enters tapped and costs two mana and a tap to activate also hurts it. But at least it does tap for colorless, so there's that.
If you're in white or green, you have some added benefit of running as many fetchlands as possible: Sun Titan and Ramunap Excavator respectively, in addition to Crucible of Worlds, but this would be pretty damn low on my list of priorities, after Onslaught/Zendikar fetches and Mirage fetches and even Terramorphic Expanse/Evolving Wilds but before Alara fetches. And Sun Titan wants a lot of other cmc ≤ 3 permanents with abilities requiring a sac, enters triggers, death triggers, or enter with +1/+1 counters which you can use in some way. Similarly, Ramunap Excavator (and for that matter, Sun Titan) can do deserts or blighted lands or Strip Mine.

I've run Landscape in Jaya since it was printed and it usually does decent work because I have a lot of incidental support for it (Rings, Crucible, Valakut, 3 Gauntlets). I don't think I've run it anywhere else though.

The flavor of this card implies that the target survives being blocked by everything, and I wonder how common that could actually be.
