Sudden Spoiling - It can fog, it shuts off abilities, and it's really hard to respond to. Player with indestructible creatures decides to wrath? Make him join in the suffering.
Teferi's Protection is kind of obvious now. Boros Fury-Shield was a favorite of mine against people who likes to attack with a lethal power creature. I've killed opponents who favors lethal number of tokens by casting Rakdos Charm (although I'd do that even if they don't attack). Wake the Dead is very fun to play and alters the board state beyond combat, especially with Athreos, God of Passage in charge.
Any kind of removal that players can't respond to is great. So any split second card feels like an ace up your sleeve. Also fogs aren't usually expected, and I run at least 5-8 fogs in every EDH deck.

I love this card. It is so underrated. I used it serval times to totally screw over other players. Watching someone lose a Blightsteel Colossus to their own Damnation gave me a serious case of the 'feels good man'.
Time Stop is probably my favorite panic button. It just stops damn near everything. My only regret is it is a one time use spell.
I'm thinking specifically instant answers. Remember, once a combo starts, you only have instant answers to it.
I'm a huge fan of Thwart, mostly because people expect Force of Will; they do not expect Thwart and Daze, even if you have Winter Orb out and they really should have a vague idea what you're doing. So, they see Force of Will in your graveyard or only one card in your hand and assume they're safe.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Commandeer, while expensive(either via CMC or its alternate), is a great one to disrupt combos. I've used it on so many occasions where someone stops, asks to look at it, and then sighs. Invariably, I get a 'Good play, man' afterwards too.
I've also enjoyed rebounding someone's penultimate uncounterable burn spell back at them. I mean, why render useless what you can still use? :3
Spore frog. it comes down early, it's easy to recur if needed, and it's very, very rare for someone to actually spend/waste removal on it, so there's a pretty good chance I can drop it on turn 1 and it'll still be around when I need it, unless someone uses a wrath (which kind of solves the problem anyway).
I'll also chime in for sudden spoiling. It's just the best. If I'm building a black deck and there's 1 chance in a hundred that it'll see multiplayer action, spoiling goes in.
Also, there's something very satisfying about a very well timed reins of power, especially if you combine it with a free sacrifice outlet like altar of dementia or phyrexian altar. Player A attacks, so I take player B's creatures, block, waste a bunch of dudes on both sides, and then sacrifice the remainder for mana to power out another spell. Fun for everyone, but mostly me.

In order to save time:
YES that's a cool ability
NO I don't think that this apparently broken card will dominate the format or ruin the game
YES I've been wrong before
YES if things turn out differently I'll owe you an apology
NO you can't have it in writing
YES that might make getting you that apology difficult
I hate Cyclonic Rift for being so good i couldn't possibly pass on it. Teferi's Protection feels similarily strong, but i didn't get them at the inflated price yet.
If you've got access to black as well as red, Fire Covenant is probably going to be better in most situations. Yes, it hurts you, but it's gonna be a more reliable way of killing the stuff that needs killing.

Glissa really struggles to fight combos and large attacks, such a sorcery speed deck. Krosan grip.. don't mess with a classic.
Derevi... well Derevi, Empyrial Tactician.. it can tap things as well as untap. Commander Eesha.. is a champ holding back armies... Lieutenant Kirtar and Major Teroh her underlings aren't bad either.
Zirilan of the claw.Reito lantern and junktroller are pieces of my recursion engine but also grave hate and Tel-jilad stylus means my dragons can't get stolen.
As for dragons well Changeling Berserker is a werid card, It is for protecting Zirilan probably wont stop you losing the game but against things like cyclonic rift it can be key, I was earlier a complete mad man and played worldgorger dragon but I kept drawing it and feeling bad. Bogardan Hellkite I mean it has flash but all my dragons do with zirilan in play it is the key piece of interaction for my deck. hoard-smelter dragon and Scourge of Kher Ridges are also useful.

Arguably, I think Trickbind is better, but I have the same experiences. Indescribable feeling when you stop someone's planeswalker ult.

Sudden Spoiling - split second is great.
Krosan Grip - as above.
Rakdos Charm - tokens swarms are prevalent in my meta.
My ultimate favourite though is Faith's Reward. Cheap to buy, mass recursion, feel free to throw away a sweeper if you must.
