For reference: The Scorpion God, The Locust God, The Scarab God

They actually work very well together. Locust creates tokens, tokens can be killed by Scorpion to draw cards, which fuel more locust, and any wheel effect (alongside all the sac to mill, sac to damage cards) would put cards into all graveyards for Scarab to make zombies.

Imagine, a Nicol Bolas deck using all three corrupted gods.

Main theme for such deck would be:

1) Wheel
2) Discard
3) Tokens
4) Reanimation

Sample combos:

1) Tokens -> Everlasting Torment + Goblin Bombardment -> sac to kill creature/draw -> Eternalize
2) Wheel -> 7 Locusts -> Eternalize
3) Midnight Banshee -> kill locusts each turn -> draw many cards -> create locusts -> repeat
4) Archfiend of Ifnir -> cycle (draw to make locusts) -> kill (draw with Scorpion) -> locusts
5) Tokens -> Milling w/ Altar of Dementia/Altar of the Brood -> Eternalize
6) Blowfly Infestation -> Locust death -> draw -> create Locust -> repeat
7) Dack Fayden -> draw/Discard -> Locusts/Eternalize

Purphuros, God of the Forge, Blood Artist, Blowfly Infestation. You know what's funny. If for whatever reason the Locust or Scorpion wnd up actually stuck in the yard and you can't get them back any other way the Scarab can just coat them in Lazotep lol.

Yep, although black doesn't lack necromancy to just bring them back outright. :3

Adding Altar of the Brood since it works with all the Gods.

I love altar of the Brood! Although other than being a permanent I don't see how the Scorpion synergizes.

Scorpion kills tokens to draw, every time locust draws it creates tokens, causes the Altar to mill. The three gods work like the Stations from Kaladesh where the cycle can start or end from any of them.

Ah I see. I thought you meant he had a direct synergy beyond dies and can be replayed. Thats more about how good the Locust God is. That's pretty inefficient in all honesty but it'll do in a pinch when you need cards.

Sarkhan no longer does.

Added Torment of Hailfire, Torment of Scarabs, and Torment of Venom to the list, as well as The Rack, Rackling, and Shrieking Affliction. I do enjoy versatility, even if there's a choice involved, in this case doom if you do, doom if you don't.

Then there's Doomfall.

I'm looking at this and accuring to me bolas is known for hypnotizing things to his side. Just like he did with the 8 amonkhet gods and went a immensely further on the bug gods.

Given how you want to have all three gods available for the engine between them to start firing, Buried Alive and Intuition look like good includes, assuming you play enough reanimation. It will find all three with one card (Though you should be wary of GY removal).

EDIT: EOT Intuition followed up by a Living Death seems like a strong play for this deck.

With Cockatrice update I can finally test out this idea. Likely going to be a Grixis control with reanimation theme, nothing unusual, except with focus on three Gods. Not sure if Bolas (general) would even come out

But I'm shocked they did this but they did one better than cockatrice

Actually quite similar to the one I'm building right now, except i don't have LD, his version may prove to via than mine.

Mine still got 17 cards to cut.

EDIT: I also checked out the Starcity one, I'm amazed by how many ways this could be built with Bolas + Three Gods as base.

While making the deck, I read an article on EDHREC about using partners to potentially include a 4th color to a tri-color deck. Green obviously has huge synergy with the three gods, such as Golgari with -1/-1 counters, Doubling Season making both Locust and Scarab both more deadly, and green creature fetch that search out Bolas and the God we need for the situation.

The non-white partners:

Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper - Life gain from locusts/eternals mainly.
Kraum, Ludevic's Opus - A lot of cards in multi-player.
Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix - Big mana consider this deck has many wheel effects.
Ludevic, Necro-Alchemist - Slight group hug, encouraging attack on others.
Reyhan, Last of the Abzan - +1/+1 counters.
Silas Renn, Seeker Adept - Artifacts retrieval
Tana, the Bloodsower - Tokens
Thrasios, Triton Hero - Card advantage mid-late game.
Vial Smasher the Fierce - Direct damage (random) on first spell.

The only worth while black partner here is Vial Smasher, which means the second partner has to be mimic, which is a choice between Kydele and Thrasios, one gives mana the other gives cards, and regardless of who we choose the other can go into the 98. I personally favors Thrasios because his ability doesn't require another card, and Training Grounds can help reduce his activation cost like it would Gods.

I agree that as far as partners go, you got the best set. But somehow not having Bolas as the commander while you explicitly go for the God Pharaoh and his minions as a theme somehow makes the deck less cool in my opinion. I mean if you're willing to do that, then why not go with a 5 color commander and save yourself the hassle? Just play Ramos the Dragon Engine and turn it into 5 color God-Pharaoh's goodstuff.
