Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. It's right behind Wintermoon Mesa and Sorrow's Path for the three worst lands ever printed. It may be worse than the Mesa, actually, at least the Mesa can generate mana consistently.
It's not even good in Zedruu like the Path is, where Path is a solid combo card with tapdown effects like Rishadan Port. You don't get any advantage from giving someone a Rhystic Cave, it's just a crappy land that produces mana except when you really need it to.

These days, some wizards are finding they have a little too much deck left at the end of their $$$.

Donate, Sorrow's Path, and Rishadan Port makes a cool (if somewhat Rube Goldberg, and really, at this point you'd just run Elesh Norn) way to hose token decks.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Unless there is some multi-color legendary general that has a static price of glory effect attached, if you are trying to jank someone's mana elves with a sunblast angel, if your opponents only play islands and you sneak 5x copies of monsoon in your deck, or your punisher deck still runs Citadel of Pain, then I don't see this card being playable.
The card is wasted card stock. It would have been playable with the tap-for-colorless, but only then as a budget pre-waste colorless land.
Prophecy had a lot of ***** cards like that. Most of them related to the rhystic mechanic, sacrificing lands, "any player may activate this ability", or "if you control any untapped lands". Many of them have gotten better since (Sorry, Citadel of Pain.), but that's also true of Homelands. All in all, I would even say Prophecy was worse than Homelands.
