The Paladin's mana sharing is busted in half, since you both end up with double mana. It would still be sketchy (but a bit more fair) if you simply shared mana pools instead.
Also, isn't half the point of the basic kingdom format that the King doesn't know who the knights are? That kinda gets ruined if you can just reveal the card whenever.
I don't get the roles. I mean the king is not suppose to know who is who. With roles you would ha e to reveal who you are.
Also my variant has a few benefits for the king. I addition to going first and having 50 life, he also has a larger hand size and starts with 8 cards (and get a one extra free mull)
