Currently I am undergoing the process of retooling my Sen Triplets deck to be a Merieke Ri Berit deck. I am looking for the most ideal ways to untap her, and have 1 card slot left. Looking through my binder, I have come to these 2 (but am willing to hear suggestions if you can think of one not listed)
Thousand-year Elixir gives haste and untaps something cheaply, though it's not reusable in the same turn Pemmin's Aura gives cheap untaps and also lets you shroud your general or save her from damage-based removal Thornbite Staff lets you turn one dying creature into a selective board clear Staff of Domination untaps repeatedly for a relatively high price but also has other uses

Both seem terrible for Merieke. Umbral might be okay if you end up runnning a creature heavy version of Merieke but otherwise there are cheaper ways to untap her. Here are a few that will be more beneficial:
I'm not a big fan of cards like Thousand-Year Elixir & Magewright Stone unless you have other creatures with activated abilities to take advantage of them. Umbral would combo nicely with them as well. Good luck!
yeah, i already have thousand-year and thornbite staff. unforunately, no staff of dom or pemmin's or freed laying about, otherwise they are auto includes.

haha, removal bait IS a good point; however, i think if i abuse either, they will be removal targets, and as enchant vs artifact - frequently their removal spells go hand in hand
I have a Merieke deck and I would definitely vote for Pemmin's Aura if it's not already in the deck. It's one of the best cards to have in your opening hand in this deck.
If you already have the aura, I'd go with Umbral Mantle. I have both in my Merieke deck.
Gravedigging here, but I wanted to add Aura of Dominion to the list of must-includes with Merieke. Tap Merieke to take control of an untapped creature, then pay 1cc and tap the creature to untap Merieke, killing the creature, then repeat. It requires targeting untapped creatures to keep repeating its usage, but that is a minor drawback, since this can be used on any turn. While not as versatile as Pemmin's Aura or Freed from the Reel, I put this as a close third for its cheap colorless cost and reusability.

Intruder Alarm, especially if you additionally use it for combo.
You can never go wrong with Fatestitcher.
Can also be used a defensive tool, tapping scary attackers during before attack phases and the like.
