Welcome to the official commander solicitation thread.
We have created this thread specifically for soliciting commander content from other sites. This thread may be used to forward users to relivant commander content off site so long as you abide our official subforum rules (solicitation is rule 6) which I suggest you read before you post here.
All that said, we recognize the value in being able to share offsite content with users and to provide readers with more material. We have worked very hard to adjust our rules on site to allow this for our users so please respect the rules and we hope that everyone values the contributions of this thread.
Have fun and feel free to start sharing and discussing. Sorry for all that ugly red text but its sort of the nature of the beast.
Taking this opportunity to share my article series over at Brainstorm Brewery called "A Unified Theory of Commander." The series attempts to demystify the deck-building process for EDH and provide some simple rules for how to pilot your deck to victory. You can check out the current crop of articles below. I'll be updating with new articles as they are released.
Reading this article I enjoyed your breakdown on Multiplayer-Enhanced Card Advantage but I felt like it was a little short when it seemed like sort of the point of most of the article. It was good though but I think there was room to discuss a lot more elements all in all and angles to take multiplayer card advantage. Its really one of those topics in general that has a lot of different elements and angles that could be talked about. I would love to see a follow up article sort of pinpointing a lot of the elements that each color can derive card advantage from in a multiplayer setting.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
I actually get a lot of "I wish you went deeper into X" comments about these articles and its a totally fair request. The reason why I don't dive too deep is that these articles are initially meant to be an overview of the theory, helping newer players feel comfortable jumping into the format and assisting those veteran players who don't have a particularly good sense of why their decks aren't being successful. Diving too deep into any one topic might help expert level players take their decks from 90% to 100%, but it also might be too dense for newer players to fully grasp. I've got to strike a balance between getting these ideas into new players heads and giving so much information that the ideas fall right back out again.
Once I finish the full introductory series, I think I may move on to a kind of "Master Class" in the Unified Theory and more aggressively investigate specific colors, deck archetypes, and specific scenarios to help push players into the next tier. Some of that requires a bunch of time-consuming math though, so those articles will trickle out a little more slowly.
bobthefunny put up an article covering some basic happenings on the forums here as well as reviewing Kahns of Tarkir set. I just thought I would mention it here as I think a lot of us dont venture into the articles on the front page too often.

It was a good read. ^.^ my username is spelled incorrectly though.
So are you guys going to start reviewing legendary creatures released each set in a similar manner? It's kind of a cool overall look at how to use each one.

It's probably going to be dependent upon the set. Khans was unique in that it had exactly 5 legendary creatures, one in each wedge (citation needed). We may end up doing something similar for C14, but haven't really discussed it yet. our next article is a theme article, assuming it doesn't get pushed back yet again (we bumped it for the Khans article).

Probably will be bumped again, since C14 releases 1st week Nov, and next article will be for last week of Oct.

When a set comes out, we'll do a review of it from a Commander perspective, and that does mean that Legendary creatures will get an above-average look. This time worked out well with having a khan for each moderator to take a review on, whereas our rather delayed M15 review we got individual views on favored cards.
I do like getting a piece from each moderator into these articles though, and we'll be continuing that. The goal is to have some non-review focused articles at some point to cover some different territory, but with C14 releasing in early November, we're likely going to cover that in our October article. That'll give us November to run the article that cryo mentioned, and then see how the Fate Reforged spoilers are looking in December, since that releases in January.
I built a website that generates card recommendations for EDH decks. Check it out at edhrec.com and let me know what you think!
All credit for the recommendations engine goes to Redditor /u/orangeoctopus who built the edhrec bot that runs on the /r/edh and /r/edhrec subreddits. I simply put together a website for it.
Cool. How many decks does the bot currently have to compare with? After some time, how do you remove outdated decklists? I notice that he uses all decks of the same color combination to recommend cards from. Does the commander of the deck have some influence as well?
If you want, I can give you another 3000 recent lists from the decklist database to add to your corpus.

I was a guest on this week's commandercast podcast. The topic of this article was mono color commander. I apologize as all of the cards I tried adding to the show notes seemed to have gotten screwed up.
So some regular forum members and I have been working on an EDH-oriented podcast. We recorded our first episode a couple weeks ago. Still some technical issues to iron out, but check it out... Gathering Commanders 10/13:
bobthefunny has released another commander article. This one covers a little bit of just the general happenings of the last month, a review of the new commander decks, and a bit about building loaner decks. There is a final bit where we do a bit of discussion about new playgroups and maintaining playgroups.

Hello Commander/EDH players. If you haven't checked out General Damage Control, I am here to share what we are all about. Our motto at GDC is "Defending the Social Contract" We provide weekly articles and podcast updates on from many talented writers with different thoughts, ideas, and perspective of EDH. Check us out.
Yeah, I haven't been able to find a convenient tool for streaming the combined podcast that doesn't involve significantly more editing. I suppose I could do it as a playlist of some sort...
Hello everyone. I'm Nick Wolf and I've written a Commander article over at PucaTrade. I'd love to get your collective opinions on it since A) I've never written about Magic before, and B) I've never interacted with the online Magic community in any official capacity before. I've lurked here on MTGS for several years now, but never felt I had anything worthwhile to contribute to the discussion. Now that I've got an article published, I'm hoping to change that. So head on over there and tell me what you think! Give me encouragement or disparagement (hopefully the former...)
I've decided to try my hand at blog writing and would be interested in any feedback you all can give me. For my first post I decided to keep it simple and take a look at a couple of things that I think the format has gotten right and wrong in the last few years.
We have created this thread specifically for soliciting commander content from other sites. This thread may be used to forward users to relivant commander content off site so long as you abide our official subforum rules (solicitation is rule 6) which I suggest you read before you post here.
